Can Montana, a former standard bear..er take out a resurgent NDSU Bison team? Can upstart Albany take out the current standard bearer SDSU Jackrabbits? NY became a state in 1788, ND, SD, & MT jumped into the line in 1889. The age old battle of youth vs. experience.We all think we are the Lion.
Review of round 3, good recap of games. Kris gets in a time machine and jumps back two episodes but for the rest of us this is 280 for all intents and purposes.
Show starts with a good discussion on NIL, transfer portal, and Congress playing a role in the near future and then we move quickly into the r exciting matchups for this coming weekend. Every round is win or else but man the weight gets heavier with every round and here we are, about to get down to the real nitty-gritty.

On behalf of the producer, I am sad to see Delaware moving on from FCS and this was their last playoff game. I have no smack for my Delaware friends. You are OG's and losing the Blue Hens is a big loss in my opinion.

For me though the part touched on by Kris that allowed Lance to go back and partially explain the Delaware loss in the 1993 playoffs. I remember the names of too many characters from Delaware because of that game. Wing T, Tubby Raymond, Daryl Brown...in other words, I have always had massive respect for that program.Clifton McDowell and the cavalcade of beef up front this season are Thorough, or more appropriately - Thoro.Montana's defense will make the Delaware Destroyers look like children. Great to have him with the fellers to discuss the 1st round games and give some insight on the BSC teams that he knows well.

Kris is back to work this week and he and Lance give a brief overview of the Week 2 action. They recap the AGS Poll as well and go over the placements etc. for this week.

Lance gives a little more guff to Kris for being absent and then moves on to some conference style predictions.
He first tackles the AQ7 mashup for this season. He thinks ACU has stepped up a bit and looks for them to cause a little trouble for at least 1 of the top teams in this conference. UCA is his pick. He loves those 3 letters together apparently.
"Kris" picks EWU to win the Big Sky. Lance goes over all the teams briefly and picks EWU as an omage to Kris I guess?
Big South - gets a look too. You'll need to listen to get any more information on this one. Okay, Lance like Monmouth.
CAA - JMU is the easy pick but Lance thinks the Delaware Blue Hens are going to go round the outside and take the crown like two trailer park girls.
We slide on by Ivy & MEAC to keep his focus on playoffs.
MVFC - This conference is loaded, there is no doubt about it and who gets the nod? NDSU may squeak by all the other quality and take this over again by the end of the year according to LB.
NEC - Sacred Heart? Bryant? Can CCSU come back from an embarrassment in Week 1 and win the conference. Probably gonna be SHU says Lance.
OVC looks like it will probably go to Austin Peay at first blush.
Patriot League - Holy Cross, nuff said.
Pioneer - Lance thinks Dayton stops struggling but USD still takes it at the end.
SoCon - Furman, ETSU, VMI, seem to look like early favorites. The Paladins get the nod but unfortunately won't be able to celebrate at Tommy's Ham House if they win it. I loved that place!

It's Lance Berndt impression time as the mighty Kris Kallem is out sick for this show.
"Kris" thinks the EWU win over UNLV was the biggest win of the week...maybe the century.
Lance goes over the other upsets as well.

The showdown in Brookings was well worth the wait.
Adam Coffield broke loose on a 4th and inches from the Bizon’s own 29 yardline with 2 and half minutes remaining for the game winner. Jack’s QB J’Bore Gibbs went down in the first half with a leg injury and did not return. NDSU rushed it for 332 yards to the Jackrabbits 220. Neither team moved the ball much through the air and didn’t even try to with a total of 30 attempts between the two teams.
