Moses used the underdog statement "I'm not good enough" with God when asked to lead the Isrealites out of Egypt. How many times have we felt this way too? God asks us to do somethings that are bigger than us and our insecurities come to the surface to prevent us from doing His will. What happens when we recognize and own up to our insecurities?
"God can't use me because of my past." Let's take a look at what the Bible says about this underdog statement.
Ever heard this one, "God helps those who help themselves"? Really? If we were able to help ourselves in every situation, what would be our need for Him? The truth is that we can not do this life on our own. He lovingly comes to the rescue of those who stand before Him humble, broken, weak and helpless.
