Why does ESPN continue this? Why does the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network continue to believe, or force us to believe, that these plays are worthy plays of the week? They are not. I will tell you what we want to see. Change up.
Hey at least the NCAA is trying. NCAA football is an abysmal mess and there is one word that describes the problem in the system. Eliminate this word and then the NCAA can move on to an effective system. Let me say it...this BCS or the new College Football Playoff makes me miss the old system of writers and coaches voting.
If you think about the great songs about sports, you'll think long and hard before you decide that there aren't many at all. There are plenty of songs associated with sports, but a gracious few that tell sports stories. There is one song however, that stands out above all the rest, and it was written and produced by certifiable lovers of the game of baseball. The producer has a son who played minor league baseball at the AA level, and the writer was born and raised in the greatest baseball city in the United States of America.
The producer of the song is Todd Rundgren (pictured)
There are brats in pro sports. There are brash, cocky young upstarts that come into the professional sports ranks every now and then and they make big noise. Welcome to the bigs. Now find out how to act when you get there. The ones that are there will tell you who you REALLY are and in a big hurry. Within, a beautiful example of how to unstart an upstart. And also, how the upstart restarted after being unstarted.
The guys on tour that we see all weekend on TV are all good golfers and all of that...they all look cool and they hit six-irons 210 yards. They make incredible putts and shape shots left and right. But they're all chumps. They're all BORING and they're all CHUMPS. Except one. The only one that isn't a CHUMP is the one that entertains even when he is playing poorly.
Seasoned vet: Serena Williams. Unseasoned rook: Sloane Stephens. It's time to put the teen/child up and coming tennis player in her place and it will take a seasoned vet to do so...but how will Serena do it? Will she take the high road or will she take the low road. The result aside...taking the high road is always boring. We want to see more people take the low road.
They got engaged back in December of 2011 and by February of 2012, the engagement was off. She left him and took with her...the $785,000.00 engagement ring. Within lies the story of a very rich Buffalo Bills defensive lineman who only wants the ring back. There is a code. This woman is violating the code.
There are only three NFL linebackers that were feared. FEARED. Not respected. FEARED. I am talking about the linebackers of our time, so Ray Nitschke was excluded. There is only talk about Nitschke so possibly he was feared, that's what legend says. But the linebackers you are about to hear about are 100% mean and merciless, the ruthless linebackers that will be remembered forever. Here they are. The top three most feared linebackers in NFL history.
