Why does ESPN continue this? Why does the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network continue to believe, or force us to believe, that these plays are worthy plays of the week? They are not. I will tell you what we want to see. Change up.
Hey at least the NCAA is trying. NCAA football is an abysmal mess and there is one word that describes the problem in the system. Eliminate this word and then the NCAA can move on to an effective system. Let me say it...this BCS or the new College Football Playoff makes me miss the old system of writers and coaches voting.
If you think about the great songs about sports, you'll think long and hard before you decide that there aren't many at all. There are plenty of songs associated with sports, but a gracious few that tell sports stories. There is one song however, that stands out above all the rest, and it was written and produced by certifiable lovers of the game of baseball. The producer has a son who played minor league baseball at the AA level, and the writer was born and raised in the greatest baseball city in the United States of America.

The guys on tour that we see all weekend on TV are all good golfers and all of that...they all look cool and they hit six-irons 210 yards. They make incredible putts and shape shots left and right. But they're all chumps. They're all BORING and they're all CHUMPS. Except one. The only one that isn't a CHUMP is the one that entertains even when he is playing poorly.
