Throughout scripture we can see how God has given us the tool of meditation to rise above our circumstances and experience heaven on earth. Christian mediation is simply living from the inside out. Magnifying your true identity in Christ over what the outside may be screaming at you. In Philippians 4, the apostle Paul says to meditate on what is good. That means that we have a choice to focus on the bad or how God sees each situation. Death and life are set before you, choose life!

The resurrection is the epicenter of our faith. Everything we do is because of the resurrection. There have been countless religious movements led by men who died. What separates Christianity from any other religion is that our leader didn't stay dead. The savior of the world rose from the dead is alive in us today! The stone was rolled away and there is nothing that stands between you and God! There's no list of rules or commands, just an open door to the Father. No matter what you've done or what you're going through, you can run boldy to the throne of grace!
Luke 24:1-9 -Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’ ” And they remembered His words. Then they returned from the tomb and told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest.

Jesus said that you must believe and be baptized to be saved. What that means is, in order for us to experience salvation (Heaven on Earth) you must do a couple things: believe and be baptized. To be baptized in something means to be immersed completely. Many of us us believe what God says is true, but we aren't experiencing the fullness of the Kingdom because we only have an intellectual understanding of it all. Immerse yourself in the truth of the gospel and salvation will manifest itself in your life.

Have you ever looked at someone who seemed to be getting and compared your situation to theirs? Maybe they have experienced the very thing you’ve been wanting for a very long time. It would be easy to desire the result that others are getting, but in doing so, you would be missing a major point…GOD! Most of the things we wish we could experience are just a result of a relationship with God. Your healing, peace, and financial breakthrough shouldn’t be the goal. A healthier relationship with God should be the goal. All those things are a fruit of a relationship with God the Father. In Matthew 6, Jesus said, “Seek FIRST the kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you.” Don’t seek the things, seek the Father and allow the things you need for life to be release from the inside out.

What Renewing Your Mind Actually Means
Romans 12 tells us that transformation comes through the renewing of your mind, but what does that mean? The answer is simple, but can be difficult to do because we have conditioned our mind to act in certain ways. The only way you can truly change your life is to change the way your mind works. Science shows us that your brain will physically change as you change your beliefs system. Jesus says to humble yourself as a little child. In other words, re-new your mind--start thinking the way you were created to think. A child's mind functions differently than an adults because they haven't been told what they can't do. Go back and humble yourself like a little child and trust in what your Father says about you!

Reconditioning Your Mind
The reason we respond to situations the way we do is because we've been conditioned to. Whether it's your upbringing, social status, past experiences, or a number of other things, we are conditioned. When you realize this, you can begin to recondition your mind and live the way you were intended to live. A life where stress, sickness and lack don't have to be your story anymore.

Jesus then tells him to sell all his possessions...but why? Many of us have been told what true happiness is supposed to mean. If you own a lot of things, have a certain job, make lots of money. But what if the life we've created for ourselves is actually what's keeping us from true happiness? What if God has something better, but it requires wiping the slate clean and starting fresh?
