WCHL Commissioner Chris Perry, trusty sidekick Andrew Magerkurth and special WCHL guests discuss the Western Collegiate Hockey League (ACHA Men's Division 1) and a lot of other non-hockey related topics on this incredibly mediocre podcast. While we try to focus on the WCHL, which is comprised of collegiate hockey teams from Arizona, Arizona State, Central Oklahoma, Colorado, Colorado State, Grand Canyon, Missouri State, Nevada-Las Vegas, Oklahoma & Utah, we admit we get distracted and talk music, food, stories from the road, and whatever else pops into the limited minds of two guys that are definitely "not hockey guys".
Chris and Andrew wind up the 25-26 season with another imperfect edition of The WCHL Podcast! They discuss the results from Nationals, instant replay, future sites for Nationals, the ACHA Annual Meeting in Nashville and some important policy and rule changes made there for the upcoming season! The Fall 2025 semester is in the books and games are over but the work behind the scenes never stops in the ACHA! There are some tidbits and slices of info to be discerned before the guys have some fun figuring out when the next ranking is coming out! And then, as promised, the guys start up their WCHL Midseason/Half-Year Awards (and kick in some ACHA-wide opinions too!) Whaddya think, agree with them? Disagree wholeheartedly?
