The events in Ferguson have propelled a much needed conversation about race, systemic injustice, and what it means to be black in America. The church and all people of faith can bury our heads in the sand of therapeutic rhetoric or we can engage with open hearts and minds. We have a deep call for doing justice as communities of faith, but what does that mean in light of the events in Ferguson. We are honored to be joined in this conversation with Charles Graves IV and Rev. Peter E. Matthews as we dig into their stories and reflections as black men and ministers in America.

D.G. met up with her in Santa Fe, NM where she was leading classes in yoga, and doing contemplative photography workshops for a conference. She was so gracious to be able to meet on a rare spring snow filled Sunday afternoon.
