We've come a long way this past month talking about "The Meaning of Your Life" and going through the Book of Ecclesiastes. As we fast forward into Ecclesiastes, Chapter 12, listen as we look at the ends of Solomon's journey as he himself attempts to find the meaning of life.
Friends are so important in our lives. A friend is someone who you might end up in a quarrel with, but continue to do whatever it takes to help you in your hardest times. They are with you in the 'ups' and the 'downs', the good times and the bad times, and will not leave us when things are not perfect.
When we don't even realize it, we tend to slowly stray from declaring our faith. We end up hoping or wishing for a better outcome. We end up falling for the 'by chance' or 'if I'm lucky' attitude. But let me tell you, provision WILL be seen, people WILL be restored, and lives WILL be changed. In Jesus' name, you cannot be shaken.

We pray that you all had a wonderful Christmas break! And we wanted start off the new year by answering the question, "How do we find the meaning of our lives, the meaning of everything, and even the meaning of anything?" From what we can see from this past year, we know that life has a rhythm. On some days everything goes right, but on others, everything goes wrong. And so with these events of chaos and order, how does this define our meaning in life?

Has God ever changed your plans? Have your plans ever drastically changed and did not turn out the way you wanted. When we make plans, the Lord’s purpose prevails. But this is not to say we should not learn to make plans or set goals for yourself. So, what must we do when God changes our plan?

There are a lot of messed up things in our lives. And this includes the stories we hear to the things we see on the internet. And you might know that a lot of things, which we know about Christmas, are messed up. So, what could we do to help us make it through the mess?
So much revolves around the name of Jesus during the Christmas season. Names have a meaning. God gave himself a name that would describe who He is and what He does.
Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV) – “For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
What would a day with Jesus look like? So many Americans are so intrigued to spend one day with their favorite athlete, or movie star, or even a historical figure. However, there is only one differentiating factor between spending a day with your desired celebrity and spending a day with Jesus, and it is the difference between being selfish and selfless.
Those we look up to, or even those we admire, are the kinds of people we want to become or act similarly to. And when we choose to spend a day with our favorite celebrity, we expect to get something out of it. Something that would make us appear more like them. But what would a day with Jesus look like for you? Would you want to take out something from the conversation and try to emulate it? If so, how would you change in order to become more like Jesus?
You might have noticed that Christmas is not always going to be the most calm and perfect time of the year. In fact, Christmas was tough for Mary, Joseph, and Jesus. And if was tough for them, it will most certainly be tough for you.
And so, what is God’s Dream for Christmas? If Christmas is tough to deal with, then what should we do to counteract the struggles of this holiday season? Why is it so important to take the time to acknowledge Jesus and his hardships?
II Corinthians 5:18 (NKJV) – ‘Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation…’
How many of you feel like an influencer? The fact is that you ARE an influencer! You are a child a God. We have been transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Judges 6:23-24 (NKJV) – Then the Lord said to him, “Peace be with you; do not fear, you shall not die.” So Gideon built an alter there to the Lord, and called it The-Lord-Is-Peace. To this day it is still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.
We must influence with peace. So, listen to Pastor Kendall Bridges as he shares three actions you can take so that you can become more aware of the fact that you have the indispensability to influence with peace.

The only issue is we seem to underestimate the enemy’s ability to deceive and destroy. It is very important to overcome the enemy, but it is also important to recognize your enemy in all its characteristics.

So, what is the difference between a risktaker and a caretaker? Some might claim that they are riskier than others, and others might claim that they are more careful than others, but some people might even try to create an equal balance between the two. However, when it comes to following Jesus Christ, Jesus is looking for risktakers, and this isn’t to exclude those with different personalities, but He wants us to lean in just a little more. One of the first keys to putting fear under your feet is to know that fear is not just a negative emotion. Fear is a spirit. Meaning it is a living personality that is seeking residence in your life.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

We love superheroes, but we seem to worship superstars rather than real heroes. …but, the right choices will put you in position to experiences God’s presence.

There is something that is eroding from our society, and that is trust. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (NIV) – “For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”
But how do we make our thoughts obedient to Christ? How can we win the battle in the mind and get rid of this stinkin’ thinkin’? Well, Pastor Kendall Bridges has given an excellent message to combat our negativity, and here’s how to do it…
There is something very special about being in the house of the Lord.

Romans 7:18 (NIV) – “For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.”

Romans 7:25 (NIV) – “Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!...”
