What does it mean that God is with us? Join us as we explore this question and anticipate Christmas this Advent season.
We live in a day today where hope seems to be slowly fading away. It is in those moments that we need to be reminded that there is a light and high beauty that forever exists beyond the reach of darkness. This is why we started a message series titled "Christ in You: The Hope of Judges." The book of Judges is a collection of stories stitched together to showcase God's resolve and His commitment to break into a brutal world and forge for Himself a treasured and transformed people.

If Missio Dei Church is to be healthy and grow, it will be because we're a gospel-centered, Spirit-empowered church that loves our neighborhood.
As we learn the various God-centered lessons that Daniel offers, we learn to trust God as our True and Only Hero. And our heroic God is presented in the full range of his character in Daniel: we see him as faithful and wise; as a Savior and a Sovereign; a God of judgment and power; a God who rules and who orders everything for his glory; a God of forgiveness and a God who fights for us. Above all, in each chapter, we will see that our God is a God of hope.

Our identity as God's workmanship and the purposes that God has planned for us are foundational truths in the midst of a chaotic world.
The power of the gospel is the way in which it changes hearts. Jesus makes us new men and women, he fills us with the Spirit, and the divinely-designed result is a life whose orientation and actions are different than our self-centered, me-absorbed culture. The new man, with Christ at the center, lives a remarkably different life, and Colossians 3:1-17 helps us understand what this new man looks like and does.
The mystery of Christmas is not found primarily in the circumstances of the birth of Jesus, but in the identity of the baby in the manger.

God makes himself known. As a revealing God he has taken us into confidence, explained himself and his plan for redemption to us, and given us the right to know him. God's revelation is a special gift that we celebrate in the season of Advent.
We, like David, need to talk to ourselves. We need to stir our hearts up to a more appropriate emotional response to the truth about the God we know. If you find your heart cold, then do what David did and count your blessings.
“Preach the Word! Be ready in season and out of season.” In other words, we should “be ready” whether we feel like it or not. If we do only what we feel inclined to do, some of us would never do anything.
Anyone who has ever turned to Jesus in faith has responded to His personal invitation to, “Come, follow me.” In this summer series, we’ll see how Jesus interacts with, loves, and invites the lost

Paul’s letter to the Galatian church is a letter about being set free: set free from from the law, set free from guilt and condemnation, and set free from slavery to sin. When a church aligns itself around the freedom of the gospel, there is great potential for lasting fruitfulness and joy.

When a loved one is dying, their last words are important to us. What they choose to say is what they deem as true and important for us to remember. During the crucifixion, Jesus said seven things while on the cross. This series will dive into all four gospels to deeply examine the seven things He said and we’ll learn what Jesus accomplished and fulfilled by dying on the cross.
