Summary: What a golden nugget of a chapter as we will read that after Abram rescues his nephew Lot who was taking captive; that on his return Abram will meet the King of Salem (whose name is Melchizedek), who very well could have been the appearance of Jesus in the Old Testament. Absolutely an amazing passage as it will speak volumes of not just tying the Old Testament to the New Testament (as we read of Melchizedek again in the Book of Hebrews), but an amazing account about how God meets with each and every one of us.
Summary: Even after Abram’s failing of faith down in Egypt, God meets him at the altar he had built in the Promised Land before the failing. God is so gracious, kind, and longsuffering with us; and is always ready to meet us to fellowship and commune together with Him in love. Maybe you need to come back to the altar of His promises today for a fresh reunion and restoration. Join us as we see the heart of God to us even after a failing of faith.
Summary: The title of this study is “nothing”, and when asked what we studied, we will say “nothing”. And the “nothing” that we will study and apply to our lives personally is that Abraham did “nothing” to be chosen and called by God. There was “nothing” in or about Abraham that made him chosen; it was all God’s grace to call him. Therefore, as we study the life of Abraham in the chapters to come, and we see time of great faith, along with times of great failings, we can remember that “nothing” can keep us from the love of God, because “nothing” was the reason God called us to Himself except His great love.
Summary: In our passage at the Tower of Babel, we see a whole world with one language and one speech, and they totally misspend it on self and self-serving purposes, all of which crumbles and goes off into confusion. For us as believers in Christ, we have a chapter filled with great application to abundant life, with clear focus and direction. Join us!
Summary: Although often skipped over because this chapter seems like a long list of names, this chapter is foundational and critical to understanding prophecies in the Bible, and the root of all false religions, while at the same time it gives every individual follower of Christ the challenge of how they want to be known as disciples of Christ.
Summary: God not only makes a covenant with mankind with words (never to flood the earth again with water), but He gives the rainbow to be the sign to remind us of His covenant. He does the same with the “New Covenant”, that our sins will be forgiven and washed away never to be remembered by Him, and He gives us a sign to remember His promised covenant, and that is the fellowship of Communion with Him and each other. Join us as we walk through this great passage, verse-by-verse.
Summary: God of course never forgot Noah and family, nor will He forget you in the midst of your storm or trial. The word actually means, to “think upon”, and God was continually thinking upon Noah and family, just as He thinks upon you and your family. And this chapter 8, takes us into amazing depths of God’s thoughts for us, and the chapter closes with God “sharing His heart” with Noah; amazingly, God shares His heart with us as well. Join us as we see all these things and how they apply to us today.
Summary: For the Lord to tell Noah to “Come into the Ark”, could only mean that the Lord was in the Ark. In our passage we will look into all that meant to Noah and family in the midst of flood; and what it means to each of us in the trials of life we go through.
Summary: Even in the midst of the flood to come, God’s grace abounds and extends and reaches to any and all who will receive it. God’s heart grieves because of the flood to come, yet His grieved heart comes with compassion as He provides a way out for any willing to get on the Ark.
Summary: Here we have the family album, that all of us are descendants of and from, and we will be blessed tremendously as we read not of boring genealogy, but God’s amazing grace, all the way from Adam to you and me.
Summary: In our passage today, we study the story of Cain and Abel; and the whole matter was based on and began with Cain’s wrong attitude and understanding of what God requires of a sacrifice/offering. This passage is vital to our understanding of sacrifices and offerings made unto the Lord, because in Romans 12:1-2, we are called to be “Living Sacrifices/Offerings”. Genesis 4 will lay the foundation for us so that we might be a pleasing sacrifice/offering unto the Lord.
Summary: Nothing will make sense in this whole world and in our whole lives personally, apart from understanding chapters 1, 2 and 3 Genesis. But when we look and understand chapters 1, 2 and 3 of Genesis, then everything in life will make sense even in so much senselessness that we see in the world today.
Summary: The Lord’s rests in chapter 2, and speaks a message to us that we too can rest, in all things as we rest in Him; whether that be work, ministry, marriage, or singleness…. We can rest in Him.
We start a new Book, and it is the book of beginnings. The word for “created” in the original Hebrew language is “bara”, and it means “to create out of nothing”. The first verse is vital in so many ways as the foundation of the whole Word of God (Bible); but equally as well this word “bara” (out of nothing) as God declares to us, He is the “Bara God” and take what seems to be nothing there in our lives personally, and create something beautiful and wonderful out of it.
Summary: Today we finish the Book of Revelation, and what a finish it is. But the whole Book leads to the main point for every person…… how will you finish? Will stand before Him in glory, or be separated from Him for all eternity in hell? God invites you to Himself, He says….Come!
Summary: We are going to heaven, together! Join us as we come in to our final studies in the final chapter of the Book of Revelation. The Water of Life, the Tree of Life, His Name written on our foreheads; only Heaven could declare such things.
Summary: As we finish chapter 21, and look at the New Jerusalem coming down, we will see that it is not the city, that makes it amazing, but it’s inhabitants….. all of us who call Him Lord, and He has made His Bride.

And in verse 5, God tells John to make sure you write these things down, because the Lord wants His people to hear it, and not forget what is to come (all the more when living in hard times today). Summary: Our passage today is the “Day of Judgment”, also called the “Great White Throne Judgment”; At that Throne, on that Day, we read that books will be open that recorded our “works”, and that will determine the judgement of God upon each person. When that Day comes, and those books are opened, will you pass, The Good Person Test? Join us to be sure that you are sure.
Summary: The Millennial Kingdom, as spoken of in Revelation 20, is a 1,000 year period that begins right after the Tribulation Period. We will live here on earth with Jesus for 1,000 years. Wow, a thousand years, that is a long time. What will we be doing, what will the earth be like, who else will be here? We will look into these questions and more, and most importantly the question, how should this affect my life today as a follower of Jesus Christ.
Summary: Chapter 20 begins a new section of the Book of Revelation as the 7-year Tribulation Period has ended, and now Jesus will establish His Kingdom on earth. The first thing He does is bind the Devil and cast him into the bottomless pit (the Abousso). We see the shades of the attempt of that today before our eyes. Summary: In our passage God opens up and invites us into the Temple and Throne of God in heaven. In this invite God will show us the “Ark of the Covenant”. It is His “Covenant” with man, with you. What does His covenant say to us presently and yet future. What does the Ark of the Covenant speak to us about His mercy and grace? In our study we will let God “reveal” the depth of these things, and we will see His Glory from heaven unto us.
Summary: In our passage today, the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdom of our Lord; six thousand years in the making, will come to its full fruition. There cannot be the right kingdom until you have the right king, we will study King Jesus taking full possession of the earth. Then we will ask, has He
taken full possession of your heart?
Summary: In our passage we will look at the Two Witnesses who preach for 3.5 years in Jerusalem. They will breath fire, shut the heavens from rain, and strike the earth with plagues. They will be killed, and all the earth will celebrate, but after 3.5 days God will raise them back to life, and call them Home. Who are they and why does it matter to us today, join us to find out.
Summary: This passage tells us the Temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem. That sounds impossible considering all the wars and unrest in Israel today. However, Israel is the only Nation to survive 2,000 years without a homeland; that is miraculous! So if the Scriptures says the Temple will be rebuilt, it will. We will study why it needs to be rebuilt, and how the Temple of God relates to us personally today.
Summary: The Apostle John in this chapter is told to keep prophesying, and he does until he finishes telling the world what God has said in all 22 chapters. He is given a book to eat, which was sweet to his mouth but bitter to his stomach. Our chapter before us today is the same calling, to keep telling all Jesus is coming, and the same bitter and sweetness when some receive and some reject the Word we share.
Summary: Man will say if God would only give me a sign I would follow Him, yet in the passage we will see that even a sign won’t change a person’s heart. Some will say they have this reason or that reason
for not following God, but we will see why a man or woman truly refuses to follow God. A powerful passage for the seeker, the skeptic, and the believer.
Summary: We all have experienced the empty promises of the world and others. God gives us a beautiful “Empty Promise”, and that is an empty cross and an empty grave, with the Promise to us….. Paid in Ful! We all have a debt we owe for our sin, and it is a debt we cannot pay…. But God paid off our debt upon the cross. Join us for a special Easter Message.
Summary: As we open this chapter, we read there will be 30 minutes of silence in heaven. All of heaven goes silent, because of what is next to come …. the 7 Trumpets. Yet even with the blast of each trumpet, we see God extending grace to mankind, to receive His offer of love and forgiveness of sin. The offer is for anyone today as well….. will you receive it?
Summary: Many believers do not want to study Revelation because they say the things written are too frightening, too depressing…. What? Today’s passage, brings great joy in that we see the great promise…… nobody can snatch us out of His hand, as we look at the 144,000 sealed of Israel, and the who knows how many millions upon millions (maybe even billions) who will be saved in the Tribulation Period.
Summary: There are those who know the truth, the need for the Savior for the forgiveness of sin, but chose not to receive Him today; as we continue with seals 5 and 6, we will see “today” is the day of salvation, for tomorrow may be too late.

Summary: After all this world, the struggles, the warfare, the faithfulness, and endurance….. there will come a day that we will all be standing together, worshipping the Lord, in perfect unity, and perfect rest, no more pain, no more sorrow, for the former things will have passed away. Summary: The Church of Philadelphia is the model Church, along with Smyrna it receives praises and promises from the Lord; God says they have “a little strength”, not great and mighty strength. Our worldsays we have to have great strength to do great things. Today we will be blessed to see, and relieved as well, how God does great things through our little strength. Be Encouraged.
The Church of Philadelphia, is the model church of the seven churches in Revelation. We have lots to glean from the study of it, and today we start with “The Peg”, Jesus Himself that we can hang everything and all things off of in our lives (relationships, ministry, missions, and salvation).
Looking at the News and Prophecy and seeing that things are not falling apart, but falling right in place as the scriptures said they would.
Summary: Known as the “corrupt church”, as they did not just tolerate sin, they fully embraced it. Thyatira means “continual sacrifice”, and God gives the unveiling on how they, and us, can live the God-Life, a life that is a sweet fragrance to the Lord, and the world.
Summary: The Church of Smyrna is known for being the persecuted church, a church suffering
tribulation, but….. that remained faithful to the end. There is a power in a believer’s life that is unstoppable, cannot be overcome, that says…… even in the storm, I will still praise You Lord.
Summary: The Church of Ephesus will go down in history as being known as the church (and individuals) that left their first love. Could that be us, could that be you today? Here is the vital point! They did not know it or notice it, even in the midst of all their good works and activities, the Lord had to speak to them to expose it. We would all do well, to hear this Word from the Lord today, and see if we could be in the same state and not know it.
Summary: God gives a divine outline for this book in our passage today, because He wants to “Reveal It – Unveil It”, it is anything but hidden. Once we see the 3 points of the outline, the Book becomes very easy to follow and unlock. Join us for the overview of Revelation, in one study!
Summary: The only physical description of Jesus in the New Testament is found in our verses today. For us all, see “The Glorified Christ”, and our vision will be clear on all things and everything.

Summary: The word revelation means to unveil, to make known, yet many people can think this book is hard to understand; on the contrary, the Lord’s whole purpose is for us to understand it (reveal it to us). So much so God promises us a blessing (1:3) if we read it. The Book of Revelation is the only book in the Bible that comes with such a promise. Join us as we get blessed and begin this verse-by-verse study through the Book of Revelation.
Passage: Jude 1:1-7
Title: Contending (Protecting and Defending) the Faith
Summary: For 2,000 years since Christ, there have been faithful saints who have contended (protected and defended) The Faith. They preserved “The Faith” for us, and now we have the same calling to protect and defend The Faith for the current and next generation. Jude gives us a great reminder of this calling.
Summary: The Apostle John speaks the joy of every parent, and that is seeing their children walking in the love and truth of the Lord. While this is true for every parent, it is also an expression of the joy our Heavenly Father has when we His children do the same. In our passage, the Lord will declare 5 things that when we do them brings Him joy. Join us as we look into the Heart of the Father.

Summary: We often say “Truth and Love” need to be balanced, but for us it is when we combine them and weave them together as inseparable, that we find great and tremendous power in our walk with the Lord, and with all our personal relationships (marriage, family, friendships, and neighbors).
he word “confidence” means fearless freedom, and in our study today we will see we as Believers can have confidence, fearless freedom, to overcome all things, believe and live as Jesus says we can, that God hears our prayers, and that Jesus keeps us! In Chapter 2 Peter didn’t mince words, he knew once he was off the scene that false teachers would creep in and try to lead the people astray. He hammered on the false teachers, and now here in chapter 3 he turns the attention to those who are in error about the return of the Lord. You see if you are not living for the immediate return of Christ, you will be easily led astray by these false teachers as they try to entice people with their twisting of the Word.

Peter is writing his last letter; he knows death is near. This letter is only three chapters, yet Peter spends 33% of it warning about false teachers. If false teachers were a minor thing, Peter would have only needed to write a sentence or two, but considering a whole chapter, and Jesus telling us in the last days many false teachers will arise…. this is a much needed study for the days we live.

There are people today who are suffering because they are plagued with the guilt of their past sins and failings. The Holy Spirit wants to set you free today.

Christ and His New Covenant: The Old Covenant is Obsolete: Chapter 8 begins and is the summation of the argument the inspired writer has been presenting by singling out the main thrust of that argument up to this point. We have religions around the world today that man feels that they cannot come into the presence of the Lord because they're unworthy, and so they come via another man. They come via a woman named Mary. They come via angels, such as praying to Gabriel. In all of these things and even strong believers can find themselves being brought back into a false humility by saying, "I'm not worthy to come into the presence of the Lord, therefore, I will come in through a mediator," and the deception and the diminishing of it is Jesus Christ is superior to all intercessors. He is the intercessor and mediator, and therefore, to come any other way can only come in a way that is diminishing and sometimes even destroying. That's why a study today of Jesus' superior to the angels is so vital for each and every one of us and the people that we will love and witness to around us.

Paul’s Impenetrable Prison: Paul writes his last letter before his death from a brutal Roman prison. Everyone at some point feels imprisoned, bound by something beyond their control, yet as we study today, Paul is captive with love and joy. How could that be? We will see Paul built an impenetrable prison cell, where the enemy of his heart and mind could not reach, but only Jesus. Join us as we see how we can do the same when faced with painful circumstances outside of our control.
Most scholars agree this is Paul’s last letter/epistle he writes. He is in a brutal Roman prison, and unlike his last imprisonment, he knows that death is imminent, maybe just days away. Paul writes (preaches) from the position of pain, yet so interesting as we read the letter his pain is not directed at Rome or the Jews, but those close to him who have personally hurt him. He says to Timothy in verse 4 that he is mindful of Timothy’s tears and thus pain. Surely an epistle for all of us. Has someone close to you hurt you? In our passage today Paul's desire to see these believers was great upon his heart, as he had such a great heart for them. We have come to verse 32 of chapter 10, and it says, “they were on the road, going up to Jerusalem”. They are heading up to Jerusalem for the Passover celebration. In verse 1 of chapter 11, it is the triumphal entry into Jerusalem, that would make it Sunday. Then 5 days later would be the crucifixion. So our passage today puts us around a week or so before the cross. The estimate is somewhere around 2-3 million people are making their way to Jerusalem for the Passover celebration, and what we read is that Jesus is leading the processional. Jesus is leading the procession, for most it is a celebration, but for Jesus it is for a crucifixion. That is where you and I come in. In today’s message, we will see how Jesus is inviting us on the procession to the cross again and we will see Jesus sharing His heart, His burden, and His sorrow.

In this message, the religious leaders come for another confrontation with Jesus. They challenge Jesus to put on a show for them, to perform some spectacular miracle, not these small-time things like feeding 5,000 and 4,000 from just a few loaves of bread. After the confrontation, Jesus is going to get alone with His disciples for some quality one-on-one time and He is going to tell them, beware of the “leaven of the Pharisees and Herodians”. The key wording of unlocking this passage is “a long time after the Lord had given them rest”. There is always a guard that needs to be put up “after we have entered into a long period of rest”, for we can find ourselves putting our guard down, and being susceptible to a fall and great failings. In today's passage, Joshua is going to give the final charge to them: stay strong, fight the fight daily, cling to your God for it is He who fights for you and it is He who brings you the victory (each and every day).

In today's passage, Joshua is sending the 2.5 tribes that crossed over from the east of the Jordon to return to their families. Chapter 22 isn’t just a passing chapter of filling in some details, it is actually a most vital passage, because in this picture of spiritual warfare, in this picture of living the abundant Christian life, we see one of (if not the one), of the enemy’s greatest weapon (wiles) to bring that to a screeching halt, and that is “a family divided”. We must be on constant guard over this subtle attack, and especially when things are going well, when victory is behind us, when we are experiencing such great flow of the spiritual blessings of God.

Following the list of the forty-eight cities given to the Levites, chapter 21 closes with one of a powerful verse: “Not a word failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.” All the way back, at least seven years, possibly even far further than that • He told Joshua that everyplace you put the soul of your feet, "I have given you," and not one of those words has failed. • He would say to Joshua be strong and of good courage and not one of those words have failed, as he would give Joshua the strength and the courage to go and fight and take what is his. He's been faithful to Joshua and He will be faithful to you, that's what He is and that's who He is - always faithful and true.

There is a common misconception concerning the book of Revelation and a lot of people who never read the book of Revelation, think of it as a sealed book. It is exactly the opposite. Rather than a sealed book it is the unveiling - it is taking the wraps off - it is taking the seal off - it is allowing you to see what the future holds as far as Jesus Christ is concerned, it allows you to see Jesus.
