3rd and Final Installment of MR PUZL's Summer Mix Series Free Download: https://www.toneden.io/lamp/post/mr-puzl-s-summer-mix-vol-3
"This 3 volume mix series has been quite a journey for me. I pushed myself to explore my collection more thoroughly that I've done before. These mixes reflect a few different... let's call them personalities, that make up part of who I am as an artist and my enthusiasm and love for electronic music.
The first 2 volumes represent the summer days and nights that I fell in love with while living in LA. Volume 3 is all about those moments in between."
Much <3 MR PUZL
P.S. This mix goes out to the love of my life; who has always supported my passion to express my creativity in the many forms it has manifested.

Today we have a special mix from our good friend Alliey XO. We’ve known Alliey since she first got on to the LA scene a little over a year ago and it’s been a pleasure to watch her grow and collaborate with her along the way.
Since moving to LA Alliey has made a name for herself playing at LA hotspots like Avalon, and Catch One, as well as recently joining Dances With White Girls for his new party series Vacay Mode. As a member of FAM Presents Alliey has been an integral part in bringing our collaborative party Side2Side to fruition.
Last weekend we were lucky enough to have her join us for our latest installment of Tessellate at Pattern Bar in DTLA. Today we’re excited to bring you her mix from that night for this new edition of our guest mix series!

For this week's mix, we have something special - a live set (with video! Link coming soon) from our good friend Julian Montenegro. Julian is a Costa Rican prodigy who has been rocking shows and releasing quality tunes for years already, through outlets like House Of Hustle, House of Bangerz, and Drop Low. We linked up with him on one of his numerous visits to Los Angeles, when he came to town to attend Desert Hearts and collaborate with a variety of producers (including LAMP's own Keyspan). Julian lives and works in Costa Rica, where he co-runs and teaches at production / DJ school Beatmatch Academy (http://www.beatmatchcr.com/), and contributes to Beats Radio Online (https://beatsradioonline.com/). Just last weekend, he performed an exceptional set at Costa Rica's Chepe Joven festival, which hosted 25,000 attendees.
For his debut LAMP mix, Julian graced us with a really exceptional live set, weaving together a tapestry of diverse sounds. Take a listen on SoundCloud, or watch the set live via YouTube. Julian was also kind enough to sit down virtually with Keyspan from our team for an interview follow the link to check it out.

We are really excited to present a rising talent for you from the UK, Maxinne. Starting her career as a DJ she is highly sought after in her home country in addition to Europe's unofficial playground for all things house and techno, Ibiza. She has an insane work ethic and between her own label Red Alert, being an advocate for equality in the industry and all of her own production she is making the world well aware of her talents. Having caught the ear of some pretty big labels in the industry including Knee Deep In Sound and with 2 EP's on the schedule for Mark Knight's Toolroom she is set to rise quickly through the ranks of the house music industry. I am absolutely loving this mix she put together for us so sit back and give your ears some pleasure. We will have more from Maxinne over on the website later this week so make sure to check back tomorrow for our weekly interview with Maxinne and get to know more about her. www.losangelesmusicproject.com

Alex Wilcox is all over the place. He was born in Dallas, moved to Austin, then to LA, spent time in Berlin, and now he’s based in Detroit. He’s played in funk-rock bands, done vocal mixing for a member of @bangtan?, had techno featured in @EARMILK, worked at famous rap/pop Chalice Studios in Hollywood, made an indie-pop EP under the alias Hans Isn’t Driving that signed with 411 Music Group, and cries when he keeps getting the wrong mail sent to him. With his move to Detroit, Alex has focused his vision on pursuing the DJ route powered by his eclectic and diverse range of electronic productions. He’s been spotted spinning at TV Lounge, El Club, The Orange Room, and at other Detroit spots. He’s excited to have completed production on his first album, and is also cooking up exciting collaborations with Detroit locals - @DJHolographic, @tylerdetroit, and others. Expect an onslaught of original music over the next year as this serial producer emerges. Distilled in this mix is melodic and groove-based techno & house with pop-sensibility - one of Alex’s favorite styles to dance to.
He'll be playing at an after hours in Detroit at the end of this month (July), DM him on instagram to find the address! Follow: https://soundcloud.com/alexwilcoxx https://www.instagram.com/alexwilcoxx/
It just clicked in my head today as I am putting this weeks mix together for you guys that we are rapidly approaching mix #300. I am constantly humbled by that fact that we get to bring this little series to you each week with the help of all of the other LAMP heads. 6 years ago we started this little project not expecting it to reach across the globe and it is going as strong today as it ever has. Stay tuned as we have some cool new guests coming up over the next few weeks on our way to #300. Thank you.
Let me tell you how pumped we are to have our man Kevin Knapp back with us again. This time for an exclusive mix for our weekly series. I can't remember the year but I think it was 2012 or something when I first hear this beautiful mans voice on a record for the first time. It was a track by Audiojack. From then on I kept coming across more and more tracks sampling his voice, which is one of the finest in the land in my opinion, in addition to building his own incredible library of productions. His passion for music shines through in the music he creates and watching him DJ is a pure treat. He has been on a massive run as of late and we couldn't be happier for him. If you have not yet experienced him live and in person and you are in the US right now he is back from Berlin where he is residing (and who can blame him) and you can catch him here in LA the 26th of July @ RESIDENT before he heads back.
Make sure to check over on the LAMP website tomorrow for a more in depth conversation with MR Knapp. For now enjoy these lovely beats.

"The days are getting longer and the nights more humid here in Boston. When I recorded this I looked back to the times on the Santa Monica pier when I'd get to play gigs during the sunset slot.
It's always a special moment to have the sun hangout for just a bit longer to see what the night has in store for those on the dance floor."
Stay cool out there 😎

This week we throw it back over to our founder and curator PZB as he prepares to head back out to Michigan for Rothbury's annual Electric Forest festival. Taking a detour from the techno laden grooves that we may have come to expect PZB has put together a solid set that explores his deep love for all things house and the uplifting spirit that it embodies. We hope that this mix carries you through the week and if you happen to find yourself in Michigan this weekend check out our boy PZB in the Forest.

1st Installment of MR PUZL's Summer Mix Series
"Since moving back to the east coast, the seasons have had a larger impact on the music that I'm listening to and making. The weather in Boston finally broke into summer a few weeks back and inspired me to record a mix... and then another. I figured while I'm in the moment why not go for 3? So to celebrate the summer I'll be releasing 1 mix each month."
This one is all about the warmth ;)

We are happy to have 333 back with us this week. He always puts his heart and soul in to everythin g that he does and we love when he sends us stuff for us to share with you! Here is a little something he wrote up about the mix:
"I started work on this mix almost a year ago in preparation for a boat party my dear friend Jonathan Melvin from the Rhythm Alliance crew was hosting in Portland, Maine - one of my favorite places in the world to play. Unfortunately Jonathan suffered a tragic loss in his family and the party did not happen. I kept trying throughout the winter to finish it up but for whatever reason could not get it to a point where I was happy with it so I left it alone for a little while. As Spring arrived and the music I was buying brightened up I was finally able to put the finishing touches on it. It definitely has a summer vibe to it but still has that sharp edge that I always look for. The mix transitions back and forth between techno, progressive, house and deep house without ever really settling on one genre and is maybe a reflection of the diversity I see and embrace in the world as well as the range of emotions I felt regarding the gig and my friends’ loss. I would like to dedicate this mix to Jonathan and his family as well as all my brothers and sisters in the Rhythm Alliance and the scene at large. The mix was recorded late one night in May in St. George Studios (my basement in Staten Island) and was mastered by my brother from another mother Joe Flores (aka DJ Joeski) at Maya Studios in Queens, NY. Excited to share this weeks new mix with you. Today we have a local talent that is definitely on the rise. Having grown up in three of the most iconic cities in the world Hong Kong, Seoul and Tokyo has surely had an incredible impact on the sound Sohmi is crafting and we are really looking forward to following her career. Under the mentorship of two of my absolute favorite producers Doc Martin and Sacha Robotti, Sohmi has been steadily rising in the LA community and working on busting out of the market with some of her new releases. Most notably is her recent track with Lubeski "Dip Into A Dream" which was also chosen by DJ Mag as one of the top tracks of Coachella 2019. Currently she is sharing her talents with the European Union and will be back in LA soon to keep the dancefloors poppin. Enjoy the mix and check back on the website (www.losangelesmusicproject.com) in a few days for more from Sohmi and LAMP.

This week we’ve got a special mix from one of the LAMP family’s very own rising stars, Keyspan, who laced us with not one but two unreleased cuts!
Over the past year with LAMP Keyspan has been making waves in the LA underground, buoyed by the release of his debut single "As Within” (https://fanlink.to/As-Within) which garnered support from the likes of Dancing Astronaut and Deep House Amsterdam. Just weeks ago, Keyspan contributed a cranking remix to our latest SPECTRUMS compilation which was premiered by heavyweight tastemakers @gouranga . He’s also been heating up LA dancefloors in 2019 including two standout sets at The Echo (providing support for local heroes Masha and Rambo), as well as at Pattern Bar for our own SPECTRUMS album release party.
With today’s LAMP mix, Keyspan serves up an expertly paced tour de force through his soulful, diverse, and genre-defying sonic palette - weaving elements of disco, deep house, afro house, and techno before bringing the whole thing full-circle with a sense of graceful bittersweetness throughout. The mix features an absolute dinger of an unreleased Keyspan original mid-way through which we are eager to get onto our USBs when it drops later in 2019, and closes with Keyspan’s unreleased edit of Two Another’s soulful R&B jam Waiting On You.
Enjoy today’s guest mix and stay tuned for Keyspan’s upcoming releases, as well as a host of summertime sets from the man himself in Los Angeles and San Diego. As always, thanks for listening!

This week is a special week for LAMP. We are celebrating 6 years of sharing music and helping local artists get their music out into the world for others to discover. To help us celebrate we have an artist that has been beyond inspirational to us. @Coyu, "The Big Cat", is someone I admire for his determination and willingness to stay true to who he is while building one of the most respected labels in underground house and techno. He continually gives back to the music community in which he is a part of both on a music level and also has a philanthropy supporting cats in Spain. I have been collectingnhis music for the better part of a decade now and this week I made a tribute mix that is made up entirely of tracks Coyu either produced or remixed. He will be joining us this Saturday from 2-8 pm at Le Jardine and if you are in LA this show is not to be missed.. Here is a link to tickets: https://www.residentadvisor.net/events/1209107?p=LAMP

Today we have Los Angeles locals Human Resources joining us for our weekly mix series. Izzy Ab and Cyril Bitar, two of the nicest dudes you will meet in the underground house music community here in LA. You can usually catch them Wednesday nights at Station 1640 for Clinic. Easily the best recurring weekly event in terms of talent if you are searching for the best in underground house and techno. While they are not busy booking and occasionally performing one these nights they also have been busy working int he studio with a successful release recently on the highly respected Lapsus Music label. There is so much more to uncover with this group and we will have more from them later this week. For now enjoy and let yourself get lost in the mix.

This week we are very excited to introduce you to a new duo hailing from Santa Barbara that popped up on our radar at the end of last year. One half, Jack Roy has already shared some amazing music with us and we were honored to drop his debut single with us 'Juices' a few weeks back.
Joining forces with his counterpart Peitzke, the duo have laid down some super smooth grooves for this week's mix, and we are also excited to announce they'll be release some of their new music with us very soon!

You may remember nearly two years back we had @peaceinnoise (#168) put together an incredible guest mix for us. Their mix is one that I get quite a few comments about even two years later. I'll meet someone in passing and it seems like the mix that people always mention they enjoyed was theirs. One half of that group is our guest mix artist for this week Dersu. I was all for it when Dersu asked if he could get back in there for his solo project. When he is not working as the Design Director/Creative at @Vice in Los Angeles, or as Creative Director of the style/music online magazine @Witness-This, he is also at the forefront of an amazing charity event Night Cause. A monthly non-profit that showcases some incredible talent and the headliner chooses a particular cause/charity to support. This week Dersu really delves into the deep reaches of house and techno. It is an extremely relaxing and enjoyable ride with twists and turns that keep you engaged and make you want to keep on winding down the road just to see where it leads. Trust me you will be happy with the destination.

A key member of the Night Bass family that AC Slater kicked off a few years back Jay brings that signature UK garage/ bass flavor and you will want to strap in and get ready for this one as he has brought the absolute fire. Hot on the heels of his Bingo Bass release "Clubwerk" he has delivered an incredibly fun mix stacked with originals along with tracks from several other heavy hitters in the industry. This week we welcome Love & Logic, the co-owners for SOUP NYC. We are big fans of what the label has been up to lately and after having premiered a few of their releases last year it is great to have them put together a mix for us. Chris Love and AB Logic regulars as DJ's in their respective communities for over two decades, came together several years back to form Love & Logic. If you live in New York and listen to house music then you are surely familiar with this duo and their ability to get a dance floor into a frenzy. They are also know for throwing some of the best parties that NYC has to offer under the SOUP brand. We are excited to have Love & Logic with us this week and will have more coming from them this week including the tracklist and a great Q & A with our featured post on our website (www.losangelesmusicproject.com). Enjoy.

This week LAMP welcomes Vegas duo FlashGang to the Mix series. With a passion for house and techno that dates back over a decade these two have spent the latter half of it inserting themselves into the scene that they were so influenced by. Recently their production efforts have been recognized by House of Hustle where they have a couple of releases and Sweet Heat Records. As it is only their first couple of releases I expect we'll be hearing much more from them in that department in the future. They are also regulars on the club scene in Vegas with several appearances on top lineups supporting some of the biggest names in the business. Another result of their hard work and tonacity is they have found themselves on the EDC lineup 2 years in a row! We will have more from FlashGang later this week, in our featured post on the website (www.losangelesmusicproject.com)along with a full track listing.

This week we are excited to welcome a local Los Angeles talent SiLVA. Born and raised in Southern California surrounded by diverse cultures and musical stylings she has become a voice for the underground dance culture in Los Angeles. In addition to being a excellent DJ she has a deep understanding and knowledge of musical trends which she shares with the world on her radio show Future Factory one of Dash Radio's longest running shows. The LAMP crew had a chance to be on her show last year and we strongly recommend you check it out. In addition she also hosts Dim Mak Studio's on iHeartRadio's Evolution Radio. During her time on the radio she has interviewed many big names in music such as, Claude Von Stroke, DJ Sliink, Born Dirty and Justin Martin are a few. We will have more from Silva later this week with our full feature when I get a chance to interview the interviewer. For now sit back and enjoy the wonderful mix SiLVA has put together for us.

Happy New Year. We are sticking with tradition as we welcome back Sleepy Cat to the podcast. This will be the 4th year in a row we have had Sleepy Cat ring in the new year for us. You can always expect a fun and energetic vibe with Sleepy Cat and he has delivered a great mix for us to celebrate the beginning of 2019. When he is not poking Joshua Tree's in the desert he is constantly tinkering away in his studio developing new projects of his own while selflessly helping others in the community improve their projects with his wizard skills in sound design and engineering. We are stoked to have had him in the LAMP family from pretty much the very beginning and look forward to many more mixes from him.

We have a special gift for you today on this wonderful day of days. Hopefully you are all warm and happy and sharing it with the ones you love. UK native Saytek has been tearing it up on Dancefloors across the land and we are so excited and fortunate this week to have Saytek with us. His tracks have recently been picked up by some of the biggest names on the planet Carl Cox and Steve Lawler, and Darren Emerson on their respective labels recently. It is worth mentioning he has releases on many other respectable labels such as New Violence, Superfreq, and many more. His approach to performing with live instruments has gained him much praise and as a result he sort of skipped the DJing phase of his career. We have a great Q & A to go along with this wonderful session Saytek put together for us. For now sit back and unwrap this two hour live jam session recorded from an undisclosed venue in Berlin. Happy Holidays from LAMP!!

This week's guest is no stranger to the Southern California house and techno scene. Having come together in San Diego this duo hit the scene strong after a debut performance at The Standard back in 2011. From there it has been no looking back as they have made waves across the world and become a premiere name in underground house and techno. Having held residencies in Ibiza and Miami in addition to touring schedules that have taken them from Desert Hearts to Tulum to Switzerland and places in between. In addition to a healthy touring schedule they have a rigorous production ethic that has seen them release with top labels such as Get Physical, Bedrock, Crosstown Rebels and so many more. I feel like we are just scratching the surface of what to expect from these guys and am happy to share this mix with you all this week. Please check back later this week on the website for a full feature interview and more at www.losangelesmusicproject.com Enjoy.

Most recently he was featured on Insomniacs Dsicovery Project label with a dope remix for Vibrate. Additionally he has had releases with Audiophile, House of Hustle, and Psycho Disco naming off a few. We are very fortunate this week to have the talents of NIcolaas Black joining us. Settle in for an journey that will set your eardrums on a great adventure. Really taking his time to craft this mix, "Colors" (the title he has given this mix) really explores the different bandwidths of house, techno and classical themes, with flawless transitions that easily tell a story worth listening to for an hour and a half. Having several releases under his name and other monikers over the years he is someone who is greatly respected in the Los Angeles underground scene and you can often find him randomly at different festivals, clubs, and late night soires through out Southern California and beyond. Been really looking forward to sharing this week's mix with everyone. Born and raised in Newport Beach the so cal native is going to be one to keep a very close eye on. VNSSA has been on a meteoric rise this year with several releases covering labels such House of Hustle, Sweat It Out, Psycho Disco and several others. Receiving well deserved support from a pretty solid and well respected bunch of producers her versatility and ability combined with an insane work ethic have been paying dividends. I personally was able to catch her opening set at Dirtybird Campout a couple months ago and all skill aside, she has plenty of it, one of the things that stands out the most for me is her selecting skills and she brings it in full force for us this week for LAMP. Your gonna dig this one.

He's back! RBOT swings through on his interstellar journeys through time and space to drop off another exclusive mix for us here at LAMP. His musical tastes are vast and as such we never know what to expect when RBOT drops off a mix, but we know he usually brings the heat. This time around the mix was delivered with a simple two word message: "Great Stuff". Enjoy and we will have a tracklist for you tomorrow over on the website www.losangelesumusicproject.com
Keeping it in the family this week we are happy to have Awaken back with us as we get ready to release a brand new remix package from his debut album with PUZL records. With remixes coming from Xinobi, Pascal Pur, Franks Serin and Silly Nova we get to revisit the amazing release from earlier this year. The French producer is always very mindful of the overall message that his music conveys. Even his mixes take on that same philosophy. We go by number here at LAMP and as such the mix is titled #254 and don't usually have mixes submitted to us with a title. Awaken has given this mix a title "Abeyance" which I would feel bad for neglecting as it is part of the art he is making. There are a few meanings that can be derived from that word after listening to the mix. If you don't know what Abeyance means, look it up and see if you agree. Sit back and enjoy the smooth and melodic tones that dominate the landscape as he takes listeners on journey of musical discovery and enlightenment.

Hope everyone has recovered from their sugar and alcohol overload of the past couple weeks. We have a special mix for you this week from our head honcho PZB aka Josh Brooks. Earlier in October he was invited to perform alongside the rest of the Dirtybird players for some special silent disco afterhours sets at the Bass Lodge. With Worthy and Christian Martin to his left and Bot and Wood Holly to his right Brooks took the Dirtybird crowd down a techno wormhole and we are stoked he recorded it so we can share it with you for our weekly mix series. We are going to catch up with PZB/ Josh Brooks in our weekly mix write up and interview this week and see what he has been up to and what is new in his world. His unique and eclectic style along with his forward-thinking production has garnered him international acclaim, remixes for major artists, and made him a vanguard in Amsterdam’s flourishing electronic music scene. He joins us this week hot off the heels of a very busy week performing at Amsterdam Dance Event and just ahead of his new EP “Rare” dropping later this month. For his guest mix he delivers an impeccable selection of eclectic tunes ranging from funk, to house, to futuristic beats and hip hop. Whoa didn't realize it till this morning but today is our 250th mix!!! Can't think of a better way to introduce the newest member to the LAMP family with this new mix from Keyspan. We met Keyspan about 9 months ago and he has been working with the team behind the scenes while really honing in on his productions skills. He is an accomplished selector as you will discover in his mix he put together for you all this week. Extremely intelligent and thoughtful, Keyspan has a thorough understanding of how to manipulate soundscapes in way that is smooth while keeping you engaged and grooving hard. Today we’re extremely excited to share a very special guest mix from a world-renowned hit-making producer and one of the finest DJs to ever come out of The Netherlands. The Flexican rose to international prominence back in 2013 when his track “Bumaye” was readapted by Major Lazer in one of their biggest hits “Watch Out For This (Bumaye)”. After a two year hiatus touring and releasing as a solo artist, the Flexican made a triumphant return back in September with the release of his stellar new single “Come to Me.” Since then the Flexican has been back in rare form tearing up dance floors across Europe and Asia, hosting his radio show called “High Fidelity”, and preparing for a headlining set at ADE next week. Today he was gracious enough to take some time out of his busy schedule to deliver us an absolute banger of a mix. The track list spans a diverse range of styles blending classic and contemporary hip hop, Latin, rhythms, experimental beats, and dance music from around the world blended together seamlessly by the hand of a true master. So sit back and enjoy the sweet sounds of The Flexican. We are excited to have our good friend Maikol back in the mix this week. Outside of the LAMP crew he has been just about the only artist that we have had contribute multiple mixes and for good reason. He always brings strong vibes with his track selection and this latest mix is no exception. After a three week stay on his first exursion to Europe Maikol after a jet lagged 3am session sent his mix over a couple weeks early. From the first song to the last you can feel the energy of his excitement after embarking on such an epic journey. While the track selection is not very worldly it is apparent that hin european experience has had an impact on this mix. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

Happy Tuesday! It is time for our weekly mix installment and we have a pretty special one for you today. We have been huge fans of Juliet for some time. With releases across some of our favorite labels such as Material and Suara and really too many others to mention here along with running and releasing as well on her own label Kittball Records. Which in my opinion has been and continues to be a leading label in all things house and techno. If you have been following LAMP for a while, then you are probably familiar, as we have featured the labels work here on multiple occasions. It is a pleasure to have Juliet Share her talents with us and hope you enjoy what she put together. Today we’re very excited to present the newest addition to our growing LAMP family. Palisades is the collaborative creative vision of Los Angeles based producers and songwriters Damon Steele and Gianni Carter. Sonically, Palisades is a culmination of classic and contemporary styles of dance music like house, disco and funk, synthesized with elements of hip hop and r&b. The end result is a sound that is both undeniably fresh and timeless, inspired in equal parts by all-time greats like George Clinton, Herbie Hancock, Earth Wind & Fire, and today’s most visionary artists like Kaytranada, Disclosure, Goldlink, and Sonder.
Their guest mix takes you on a journey through their diverse stylistic palette and gives immersive insight into their unique brand of dance music. Effortlessly blending tracks from across the spectrum of all things funky, while sneaking in some of their own production, Palisades give us glimpse into what this prolific duo has in store for the future. So sit back, relax and enjoy the silky smooth sounds of Palisades.

We are going to bring it back to the LAMP family this week for weekly mix #242. Last year Yosi joined the LAMP crew and has been working hard for us developing his own music style along the way. He has a wide palette when it comes to house and techno but it is quite obvious from his mix this week where his heart lies. Bordering on the melodic side of techno Yosi brings a lot of soul and careful thought to his mixes. This week he takes us on a great adventure that builds wonderfully as the mix ebbs and flows with each coming tide taking the energy level up just a little further until we reach the final destination. Sit back and enjoy the journey with this one and check back later in the week at www.losangelesmusicproject.com for the full track list. Enjoy
This week we have producer and label owner YENI joining us for the mix. Earlier this year you may remember a track we premiered from her label Cyborgs In Love. With over a decade of experience moving dance floors Evans has been focusing his efforts on original productions and the community is taking note. His first full length album from Phobiq has garnered attention from some of the best in the business including the aforementioned Fitzpatrick along with Sam Paganini and Julien Jewel to name a few. This week the boss man PZB jumps back into the mix as he gets ready to head out to Michigan for Electric Forest and some late night DJ sets in the Good Life next week. Really excited to share a new mix with you this week from Spanish producer Oscar L. With a catalog that dates back over a decade he has firmly established himself as one of the top producers and purveyors of banging ass club tracks that have kept many a party moving till the early dawn and beyond. The people of Santiago Chile certainly got to experience that live and in person as is apparent from the cheers and whistles you can hear in the background of the mix. We have a special live recording from Oscar L this past weekend when he took to the decks with another legend Pirupa at Club Room Chile on May 26th. Enjoy the mix and check back later this week at www.losangelesmusicproject.com for the full track listing along with our weekly interview put together by PZB.

This week we have one of my favorites joining us, Rich Wakley. If you have set foot on a dance floor in the last decade, especially the last 5 years, the chances are astronomical you have shook your ass to one or more of his tunes. Ranging in style from House to Tech House to Techno and places in between, Wakley's style can not be contained. Touching on our soul with classic vocal samples and infectious grooves, his music has only one purpose and that is to make you lose your mind and dance yourself silly. His productions can be found across many of the best labels in the world today such as Suara, Off, Lapsus, Lost and so many more. Sit back (actually you wont be sitting for long) and enjoy this one and make sure to check back over at LAMP (losangelesmusicproject.com) tomorrow for the full track list and Interview conducted this week by PZB.

Parisian producer Awaken joins our guest mix series this week with a sublime dive into a deep and ethereal musical narrative. The talented artists revealed his new project to us a few weeks back with a special remix that we shared with you all. He quickly followed up with a hypnotic EP on @puzl-records entitled 'Reflection Eternal' that served up 4 delightful tracks each with a unique aesthetic while maintaining a symbiotic relationship.

Today we have Detroit producer, label owner and DJ, Chuck Daniels. You may have noticed a premiere we had a few weeks ago for his label Sampled Detroit vol. 16. His track “What!” along with an all star selection of talent made up the release and if you haven’t checked it out I have it linked down below. Chuck put together a really incredible mix for us this week and I think you will all agree he has a special knack for getting people up and moving. If you are heading to Movement (Detroit’s Annual Techno extravaganza) this year you can catch him opening up with a special 3 hour set and this mix should be all the incentive you need to get your ass there early. We have a great interview in store for you tomorrow over on the website, so for now enjoy the mix and check back tomorrow for the link.

LAMP Weekly Mix #225 feat. @mrpuzl
It's been a while since I recorded a mix for LAMP. I've been very busy with my new project, Jack! My son is an incredible inspiration for me these days, pushing me to work harder in life than ever. I thought a bit about my approach to this mix with him in mind, and channel some very deep sounds for this journey. The concept for this mix actually started off with a suggestion from a friend about working the a certain track into the fold somehow. We had both agreed it was a bookend type of track. I hope you enjoy this more 'experimental' side of my musical tastes." - MR PUZL
