Music made with the sounds of nuclear spin transitions. Most of the sounds in this track are made out of audio signals from nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, recorded by Dr Walter Bauer. See his website on NMR and sound: http://www.chemie.uni-erlangen.de/bauer/music.html More about NMR: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_magnetic_resonance
A remix of "Sighting No Man's Land" by Delivery Is Possible, from the album "Prison Islander" (2011). Vocals (original track): Jeff Osborne. Violin (original track + more): Akos Kokai. This remix brings out the urban chaos in a lovely track by my ex-San Francisco friends The Overhead Lines, "Willow Court (meta-immersion38L)" from "We Have No Plans But Will They Work?" (2009).
Based on the melody from "Gamera" by Tortoise ("Millions Now Living Will Never Die" - 1996), and contains a guitar part from that song. Also features: Alex Blackstock (guitar), Andreas Brændhaugen (melodica), Akos Kokai (viola, violin, voice).
Thanks to all of USB Camp, and everyone who created and caused air molecules to be moved during Burning Man 02011.
