Malaysia, known for its heavenly spread from Malay, Chinese, Indian and other ethnic delicacies, has always been on the map for its unique delicacies. However, we do have one massive problem that we tend to sweep it under the rug; food wastage. Foodie Instagrammers, Maisarah, Idham, Syahmi and Sarah, invites to the table for dinner, Alvin Chen, co-founder of What a Waste, an NGO which channels excess food and fresh produce to the homeless as they try to understand the root cause of the problem. Understanding food waste is to note that it is a massive and growing global problem that has severe consequences for humans, animals, and the environment. We can help create a more just and sustainable world for the next generation by teaching young people about this issue, helping them find practical solutions, encouraging them to take meaningful individual and collective action, and setting a good example for them.

With many reports stating that Malaysia has a substantial stateless population, class backbenchers; Rushduddin, Najmuddin, Athirah and Zakkiya read that stateless children are denied education and medical care, making them easier to exploit. They're often discriminated against and can't speak up. It bothered us so much, we reached out to Mr. Wong Jia Sheng, who studied Law and educated us on the matter of interest. Bottomline here; we want to share with our fellow Gen Z Malaysians about the uneven citizenship law outlined in SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and how best we could steer this conversation and findings further into the interest of law and policymakers so they could find a sustainable solution in the long run.

BACK AGAIN WITH CONVERSATIONS THAT MATTER!

As we break into the endemic phase of live, what do we yearn for the most out of life this time around? We've spent arduous hours within the limitation of our square feet in the bedroom, even more so confined within the trappings of our minds (which is, even worse). This time around, we, at the RealiTEA Podcast production went out to speak to everyday Malaysians who are still making sense of living in this current livelihood as well as some who managed to make the best out of it.

We rallied our best questions, pour over them and pick out the best, nuanced conversations that best served what GenZ's had in mind; brutal, honest truth, coupled with some dose of humour. Like minced meat, we did not minced our words and dive straight into archetypes that made Malaysians (especially so the younger spectrum) thick and thriving.

ALSO! We are happy to note that WE WON OUR FIRST LOCAL ACCOLADE! Recently, the Production submitted an entry under "Category A: Professionals, Academic and Industry" at the 11th International Invention, Innovation & Design 2022 “Ushering in the Age of Endemic” (INDES 2022). Listen to what RealiTEA Podcast had to offer and its significance towards innovation and sustainability of ideas amongst Gen Z in Malaysia, narrated by our Podcast Creator, A. Hamid Saifuddin (alongside his peer, Dr M. Yusof Zulkefli) in his presentation, "RealiTEA Podcast: The Wide Woke World According to Gen Z".

All of us at #RealiTEA (a flock of Realist, if you may), would like to wish all of our dear listeners to constantly keep yourself in check; mentally, physically and emotionally wherever you may be during this unprecedented time. We believe that the end of this endemic is just in the near horizon, so keep up the motivation to hold on awhile longer if you must!

TIll our next season!
