In this 'Valentines's Day' episode, we talked with a couple that enjoy having peculiar / weird / random conversations while having a blast together.

When did all of this start? A couple of years back then, when Alejandra from Mexico met Vikrant from India while working for the same company. Even tough Vicky (as Vikrant likes to be called) considers himself an introverted person, he found the way to capture Alejandra's attention, started dating her and nowadays they seem to have reached a peak in their relationship 'cause they conveyed us a super vibe and a feeling that they are so into each other that they were definitely the best couple we could talk with on Valentine's day.

Regardless the obstacles, the 'not so comfortable situations' and after living in different countries, Vicky found a home and a place to be happy not only in Mexico but also besides a great soul and human being like Alejandra, who by the way, one of the best days in her life involved a 'Limp Biskit' concert when she was a teenager.

We love spending time with couples like Vicky & Alejandra, and the reason is that they remind us that in order to love someone else, you have to feel comfortable being yourself first of all.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, your story and your good vibes with us guys!

From Toronto, Canada, Carla and Ara reminded us how important is to be yourself no matter what. They are a super cool couple whom regardless the rush of their dating process and the use of digital tools achieve it, they are currently a committed, successful lovely marriage.

I admire their mindset as a consequence of have been in both sides of the roller coaster, so they perfectly know how it feels to be either up or down. Their life experiences have shaped their character and point of view to a level that let them be as authentic as they are these days.

We loved the way they see each other, their jokes, their humor. Damn! That's pure love 100 %.

Definitively, we all have a lot to learn from Carla & Ara.

It has been our longest episode and the reason is simple: If we could, we would spend the whole night talking to them.

Enjoy this episode of Beach Talks and remember:

"Just be a good fucking person".

Thanks guys!

We will see you soon in Canada!

This episode was very special because we had our first newlyweds. Tedi and Vivek are a lovely couple from Portland, Oregon, US.

They've been together for more than 4 years and now they are celebrating their honeymoon in Playa del Carmen.

We laugh and laugh and laugh with Vivek's comments and Tedi's answers. As soon as you meet them you realize they're meant to be together.

Honesty, authenticity and respect are some of the values we perceived from this amazing couple and we can tell how much love is in the air between them. We learnt that is better if you just smile regardless the situations that life puts in front of you and also that taking a leap of faith is one of the best decision anyone should try at least once in a lifetime. Moving from Southern California to Portland was not easy for them and that's exactly the proof that when you're with the perfect company, anything is possible.

We know you're going to achieve everything you want guys. And Vivek has great podcast host skills definitely. You should start your own dude!

What I love the most about doing this podcast is the unpredictable fact. Even thou we always know who we're going to talk with, the experience of discovering how that persona actually looks like in person is unique. That being said, last week we interviewed a 9 years old little girl from Mexico and Pamela and I are still laughing about everything we talked with her, and now, here we are again with another surprise. 6+ foot tall, redhead, strong and big body. God, I love Beach Talks.

Enough monologue. This week's guest is from Indianapolis, US. The reason why he came to Playa del Carmen is kind of peculiar and has a lot to do with a boy meets girl situation that transformed into a totally different scenario. Ethical is the most important value in his life, a private transportation business his current goal and last but not least, working out and keep healthy his priority.

Cameron is a great guy full of good vibes and excellent manners and we feel very lucky of have met him.

At the end of the conversation, with the mics off, he just asked us:

"Hey guys, where can I get one of this caps?"

(Regarding the ones we wear during the podcast)

Quick answer: "Dude, it's already yours. Here you have."

And that tiny detail, made our day. Thanks a lot for spending your time with us Cameron!

Teta and Jose have been best friends for 28 years. They have never had a single fight or argument. Amazing right? Well. The other day I decided to go to the pool at our neighborhood and I saw Teta. She was chilling out there and I just asked her if the seat beside her was occupied. That was the beginning of a 2+ hours talk. Her best friend Jose was sleeping in their airbnb because of a problem in her head after diving that morning. If it wasn't for that coincidence, we haven't done this podcast. We shared our deepest and silliest thoughts like a roller coaster. They are former language teachers, Teta loves her grand daughter and poetry, Jose loves her dogs and laughing all the time and right now they are decided to accomplish their bucket list. Today they can cross out two items: diving and being in a podcast.
