💭 I won't beat around the bush: it was a gigantic honor and pleasure to play last month at SEE U. The setup was awesome, weather was perfect and the team was super supportive and receptive. I do hope you liked it too. Also, as you may have seen, we (the buddies of Ara Kiwi and I) were playing on top of a gigantic graffiti made by Tavu. The graffiti was inspired by the current context and stands a sign that we should be prepared for the systemic changes to come in our society. To me, it was a very inspiring context and setup, so while preparing the set, I selected tunes accordingly. As usual, I also tried to surprise you a little while exploring genres, and while keeping a groovy vibe for a Friday afternoon.

So this is a set I recorded some weeks ago. I wanted to gather most of the tracks that I would have played at a “deconfinement rave”. It didn’t happen yet, but here they are!

So it was Valentine's day and I came back home and started mixing. One hour later I realized I just put up on tape a mix of styles and energy, not really a proper DJ mix to party, nor a conceptual mix. Just tracks that I like, played after each other, sometimes nicely sometimes in a messy way. But overall it's a mixtape that, I believe, shows many of the angles I like to take in music. Enjoy!
