Bryan Fischer with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. When the nation of Israel faced off against its sworn enemy the Philistines the issue was settled when David took down one man. The inspirational leader of the Philistine people was Goliath, their most renowned warrior and a national hero. Instead of waging conventional war, David settled things for the moment when he hit Goliath in the head with a rock. The Philistines scattered, the war was over for the moment, and thousands of lives were saved from death on the battlefield. The killing of Iran’s general Soleimani may not have exactly the same effect in our battle with Iran, an enemy that is determined to destroy us, but it has certainly deprived Iran of an iconic and very effective military leader. Lives will be saved, and the president is to be praised for neutralizing a threat who has been on our terror threat list for many years.
