Acts 17:24-31 NIV
We begin a new series, What I Believe. So what do you believe? We began with The Apostle Creed. We will also challenge your beliefs, and learn the basic beliefs. We start talking about God, how he is almighty, and the creator. We will talk about Jesus next week. Easy? Come Sunday to find out.
(Matthew 16:21-28 NIV)
How can we as people of God only be there for him only for one hour on Sunday. We need to be there every day and every hour! Committed to him in the good times, and bad.
(Luke 1:26-35,37-38) Some Christmas carols lend themselves to the backdrop of special moments in the Christmas story in unique ways. When the shepherds humbly and curiously approached the Christ child, the chorus of “O come let us adore Him. O come let us adore Him. O come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord” is as fitting as any lyrics ever penned. And the way Luke describes these sacred scenes before the manger, the love emanating from Mary almost seems to be the inspiration for the title of this classic Christmas carol: O Come All Ye Faithful. The arrival of Jesus was an advent of love. Love certainly was the catalyst behind the incarnation according to John’s gospel.
On our second week of the series we look at Joseph.Once Joseph had his supernatural, angelic encounter through his dream, his mind likely pondered many things going forward. A lot goes through the mind of a man when he finds out he’s having a son.
(Isaiah 9:1-7) We are starting our Christmas Series: Away In A Manger. Isaiah questioned God thinking that the Messiah was to come as just normal person. He thought that it needed to be a ruler. But we know it is in God's timing.
(Philemon 1:8-15) This week we continue with Philemon and look at the letter from Paul through Philemon's eyes. Even though Onesimus had wronged him. Paul asked him to forgive him. When some one wrongs us do we not want justice, and sometimes even vengeance. We are called to be Christ likeness, and to forgive, when God forgives us even when we do not deserve it.
(John 13:1-7) We had a guest speaker this Sunday. Pastor March brought the message this Sunday. That we should be like Jesus. The KING of Kings, but still got down on his knees to wash the disciples feet. We shall continue the series of The Legends of The Bible next week. Stay tuned in!
(Philemon 1-21) Week 2 We are continue our series of Legends of The Bible, some that you might not think are special. But we are spending this Sunday and even more Sundays looking in Philemon.
(Acts 6:8-15,7:54-8;1) Week 1. We are starting a new series called Legends Of The Bible, and we will have some that you don't think as the most important, listen and you will see just how important they really are. Join us weekly as we go through some Legends of the Bible. We learn about Stephen, and what happened at the end of his life. And how he had in our eyes the right to be angry. He choose a different path. Are we living a holy life in God's eyes? In our last moments what will our thoughts be? Good? Bad? Forgiveness?
(1 John 5:1-12) God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. You have to choose to believe in Him.
(1 John 3:1-24)A poem for Remembering 9/11 by Kayln. What makes a child of God? God looks at your heart if you are a child of God. Testimony by Kim Santanna, Larry Wilson, and Samantha Diaz.
(1 John 2:12-17) A believer in Jesus is not runied by living in the world, but they are runied by the world living in them. So Who do you love?
(1 John 1:5-10) We miss the mark, but with Jesus we can always get better. Guest Speaker: Pastor Ken Niles
Mark 10:35-45 We need to be like Jesus. Not to look around and how can someone serve my needs, but to see how we too can serve others.
