Mike, Haydn and Robert catch you up on current events, call in with your questions and comments!
This week on DDP Radio we continue the tradition of inviting an inspirational member of Team DDPYOGA to the show with the Dynamic Duo of Steve Langer and Kalel Skylander, who’ll be talking nutrition, weight loss, workouts, and why they find intermittent fasting beneficial to weight loss.
Steve Langer began DDPYOGA in 2013 after hitting rock bottom. “I found strength in numbers through Team DDPYOGA,” he recalled. “The workouts were able to heal my broke-down body and wear and tear from being on the independent wrestling scene for over 20 years.” He went on to become New England's first certified Level 1 instructor in 2014 and began studying wellness and nutrition. “Now, with Intermittent fasting, I’ve been able to apply all I’ve learned to break the walls of fat loss.”
This week we have the one and only Arthur Boorman on the show tonight! Arthur is not only the most famous success story in DDPYOGA history, he's an amazing school teacher who knows how to balance a busy life and OWN it.
As always, Arthur will talk openly about how he changed his thinking and lifestyle to make his remarkable transformation in weight lost and strength built stick. We all know Arthur from his unforgettable YouTube video of how he went from walking on canes for 15 years to a lean and mean DDPYOGA warrior! But the video was made nearly a decade ago. Hear how America's symbol of "Never Give Up" stays the course for years...and YEARS.
Arthur will talk openly about the reality that being a success story doesn't mean the end of the road. It's only the beginning and health and balance require daily commitment to getting on the mat and making food choices that are helpful vs. harmful. Wednesday’s show will prove that everyone’s DDPYOGA journey is important and we all have things to teach one another.
Thebeau came to DDPYOGA in April of 2014 because of a herniated disc and bone spurs, which had all but incapacitated him. “I didn't have insurance at the time or money for surgery. The doctor tried to medicate me but it left me dazed, even when I was awake,” he recalled. “Finally he suggested I try yoga.” An internet search for videos led Faron to the famous “Arthur Walks Again” YouTube video and the rest is history.

Nancy Guberti, M.S., C.N., is the special guest on DDP Radio this week. Guberti is a metabolic and functional medicine specialist, certified nutritionist, Defeat Autism Now Practitioner, Gluten-Free Casein-Free (GFCF) diet counselor and healthy lifestyle coach. Guberti will be chatting with Mike and Stacey this week, discussing topics such as how and why candida overgrowth can sap your energy and cause brain fog, and the building blocks of eating Paleo.
Tonight on DDP Radio, we'll address the connection between the head and the heart...and how it relates to staying on track. Call in tonight with your questions! We know from personal experience what it's like to WANT change but, yet it still doesn't happen unless there's that all-important shift in the mind...and how it relates to the heart of what drives you to be happy and healthy. Do you feel stuck? Are old thinking patterns and beliefs blocking you from walking a different path? If looking at success stories like Arthur Boorman is inspiring, yet overwhelming, take a step back. It's a workout at a time. And gradual changes with better food choices. Whatever your reasons for wanting to get healthy, DDP Radio and Team DDPYOGA are great sources of support and information.
9 p.m. EST, WEDNESDAY JUNE 15, 2016
DDPRadio.com or 347-994-1216
Tonight on DDP Radio, we'll explore the evergreen topic of stress, its potential to derail you from clean eating and doing the workouts, and strategies for not allowing it to knock you off course. Whether it's the at-a-distance emotional fallout from the recent shooting tragedies in Orlando or a bad day at work, stress is a button-pusher. We've all let it get the best of us, but there are practical strategies. Many of them are outlined in the DDPYOGA program book, but Robert, Mike, Stacey, and Haydn will be talking openly about how stress effects us and how we cope.
Tonight on DDP Radio, we'll address the often perplexing question: How Do I Handle Healthy Eating When Not Everyone In My House Is On Board? We feel your pain! And we'll be addressing strategies for how to handle shopping, meals, snacks, and how to live harmoniously and non-judgementally with those who eat differently from you. Call in tonight with your questions!
Wednesday on Team DDPYOGA we welcome Haydn Walden, one of the most inspirational members of Team DDPYOGA and the new director of certification! Live from his headquarters in the UK, Haydn will join us to talk about what it takes to become a certified instructor, and he’ll also answer your questions!
Haydn will also talk about how he wasn’t always a lean-mean certifying machine. “I spent many years of his life as a dyspraxic drummer, who's maximum physical exertion included lifting my drums in and out of their cases,” he recalled. “At the age of 26 I fell in love with Muay Thai boxing, but it was short lived. Over four years I incurred too many injuries and damaged hyper-mobile joints so I had to stop training.” After gaining weight and living in agonizing physical pain, Haydn found DDPYOGA. Since starting DDPYOGA in February 2013 Haydn has dropped 57 pounds, is virtually pain-free, and became the first certified instructor outside of the USA. He is now working as the Director of Certification for DDP YOGA, helping instructors in training, and working closely with Yoga Doc and DDP to keep the certification process ahead of the game.
Lexi joins us tonight to talk about the upcoming DDP YOGA Retreat and then we'll be taking your calls!

Guberti is a metabolic and functional medicine specialist, certified nutritionist, Defeat Autism Now Practitioner, Gluten-Free Casein-Free (GFCF) diet counselor and healthy lifestyle coach and Wednesday she’ll be our resident interpreter for what our bodies are communicating to us
via various functions and symptoms.
Whether it’s brittle nails, a white-coated tongue, eczema, excessive gas, cloudy urine, loose stools, or bad breath, Guberti says these and other symptoms that are messages (or in some cases distress signals) from the body that signal imbalances are present. Yes, we’re really going to go there this week! But if you can’t talk about body functions with Nancy Guberti, who can you talk about them to? Wednesday's show is a great opportunity to get some top-notch nutritional advice as well as call in with questions. This week, we wind down the shortest month of the year with a focus on YOU! That's right, it's another Community Show on DDP Radio this week as we get the conversation rolling with two important topics: Preparation and Willingness. Both may seem unrelated but owning up to both are crucial to walking the walk and staying on track.
No matter how great a track record or how many years someone's been a member of Team DDPYOGA, NO ONE is exempt from the effects of emotional gravity, whether it's caused by a bad day at work, a close friend or family member letting you down, or being bombarded by fear-mongering news headlines. The question always boils down to: what are you willing to do to NOT let it drag you under? Using the workouts, the support network at Team DDPYOGA, taking healthy action to solve a problem, and eating clean are all great tools to get the upper hand over emotional gravity. And speaking of clean eating, anyone who walks that walk knows it's not always the easier choice. Wednesday is your chance to ask co-hosts Robert, Mike, and cookbook author and clean recipe developer Stacey Morris their tips and techniques for eating clean.

THIS WEEK ON DDP RADIO: WE WELCOME YOGA DOC AND CHRISTINA RUSSELL!
9 P.M. EST WEDNESDAY JANUARY 21 (347) 994-1216 DDPRadio.com
This week we welcome two DDPYOGA superstars as the one and only Craig “Yoga Doc” Aaron and Christina Russell join us for an hour of information and inspiration on Wednesday!
One of the longest standing kingpins in Team DDPYOGA, Yoga Doc is responsible for shaping DDPYOGA into what it is today – a runaway success that has helped thousands of people around the world reclaim their lives and their health. Some of you may recognize Craig “Yoga Doc” Aaron as the front man for the 80’s cover band Iron Mullet, but he’s also an esteemed doctor of chiropractic medicine, Ayurvedic nutritionist, accomplished yogini and fitness buff who helped DDP come up with the formula we all love to work out to. “Got DDPYOGA health-related questions?” said Yoga Doc. “Well we’ve got answers on Wednesday! I’ll also answer anything you wanted to know about the DDPYOGA Certification Program. And we’ll also brainstorm ideas on how to promote yourself and find classroom venues once you’re certified.
Yoga Doc will also share the story of how he became involved with shapeshifting the former YRG workout into DDPYOGA with his longtime friend, Diamond Dallas Page. “I started teaching Dallas and Kimberly yoga in 2001. Dallas and I started talking about writing “Yoga For Regular Guys” at 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving night, 2003.”
Diamond Dallas Page returns to DDP Radio to talk about the recent DDP YOGA Workshops and what's new in the world of DDP YOGA
THIS WEEK ON DDP RADIO ?NUTRITIONIST NANCY GUBERTI? ANSWERS YOUR QUESTIONS
9 P.M. Wednesday, January 7
(347) 994-1216 ?DDPRadio.com
Nancy Guberti, M.S., C.N., is the special guest on DDP Radio this week. Guberti is a metabolic and functional medicine specialist, certified nutritionist, Defeat Autism Now Practitioner, Gluten-Free Casein-Free (GFCF) diet counselor and healthy lifestyle coach and she’ll be taking your calls and talking strategies for putting your health goals in motion this year.
It's hard to believe but Wednesday is the LAST show of the year! And since we'll be taking a holiday break, what better time to put your goals in writing, or better yet, on the air than NOW!
Join us for another Community Show on DDP Radio this week as we get the conversation rolling with an important topic: What are your goals and how do you plan on making them a reality? Do you want to eat healthier, give up gluten, or eat only when you're hungry? Tell us! Or maybe you want to dust off the DVD's and start working out again...give us a shout! We'll discuss strategies for time management, how to handle setbacks, and the all-important element of accepting the fact that it's not a race and there is no finish line - fitness and good health are a journey which require continual maintenance. What, that's a bad thing? There are no magic bullets and DDP is the first to say so. The leader of our team is 58 years young, looks better than he did 30 years ago and it's all because of daily dedication to the workouts and clean eating.
9 p.m. EST Wednesday Dec. 10 (347) 994-1216 http://www.blogtalkradio.com/ddpradio
This week on DDP Radio, Robert, Mike and Stacey talk about the holiday season and strategies we're using to make it a healthier one than last year! We're smack in the middle of a time of year that includes plenty of festivities, extra food, longer to-do lists, and yes, sometimes some good-old fashioned family tension.
The holidays don't always mean 100% happiness but they don't have to completely side-line you either. It's possible to weather the tough emotions, stay the course with healthy eating, and not shop till you drop. And then there's the matter of the Holiday Wish List. A great strategy preferred by Terri Lange (The Godmother of DDPYOGA) is the idea of tailoring a list of goals for the month of December so January won't feel like such a square-one drag.
Mike and Robert are back for another community show. Call in with your questions, comments and updates!
9 P.M. EST WEDNESDAY OCT. 1 (347) 994-1216 DDPRadio.com

I’ll also answer anything you wanted to know about the DDPYOGA Certification Program but were afraid to ask…plus DDPYOGA trivia questions!”
Kimberly joins to show to talk about DDP Yoga and her part in developing it as well as her current work behind the scenes.

GIVES FALL DETOX TIPS AND ANSWERS YOUR QUESTIONS ON CLEAN EATING, PROPER NUTRITION, AND HOW TO COMBAT SEASONAL WEIGHT GAIN
9 P.M. Wednesday, September 10 (347) 994-1216
DDPRadio.com
This week, we welcome nutritionist and special guest Nancy Guberti back to DDP Radio for another quarterly appearance! Nancy will be talking about all things health and nutrition. Nancy Guberti, M.S., C.N., is a metabolic and functional medicine specialist, certified nutritionist, Defeat Autism Now Practitioner, Gluten-Free Casein-Free (GFCF) diet counselor and healthy lifestyle coach who reports that many of her clients are experiencing "post-summer blues" and seasonal weight gain. "This is the perfect time to start thinking about a detox for fall, and there are many healthy ways to do that," she explained. "When the weather starts cooling, it's the perfect time to cook with warming spices and also drink more warm liquids such as tea."
Nancy will also be discussing her "9 Simple Steps to Healthy Living," and she says they extend beyond just food. "Nutrition plays a key role in being healthy, but it's important to look at other factors such as stress levels and getting enough sleep." Wednesday's show is a great opportunity to get some top-notch nutritional advice as well as call in with questions on gluten-sensitivity, the unhealthy aspects of cheese and casein, and why sugar is a highly addictive substance.
You’ve seen this All-American Firefighter with his red-white-and-blue bandanna in “Below The Belt,” now tune in tonight to hear how Jim “Jimbo” Patterson has been doing since filming wrapped on the popular lower-body workout video seven years ago.
Like DDP, Jimbo has been busy walking the walk, encouraging and inspiring others and working on getting certified as a DDPYOGA instructor. Jimbo was inspired to become a firefighter following the September 11 attacks. “343 firefighters passed that day and I was so taken by their courage that I felt if we were attacked again, I wanted to be there and help in some capacity.”
ON DDP RADIO: WE WELCOME ‘RED HOT CORE’ STAR AVERILL!
9 p.m. EST, WEDNESDAY AUGUST 20 DDPRadio.com or 347-994-1216
You’ve seen his formidable abs in “Red Hot Core,” now tune in on Wednesday to hear how Averill has been doing since filming wrapped on DDPYOGA’s shortest but perhaps most popular DVD seven years ago.
Like DDP, Averill has been busy walking the walk, encouraging and inspiring others with his personal training and teaching DDPYOGA three times a week in the Los Angeles area.
This week, Robert, Mike, and Stacey will welcome Averill as he tells his story of how DDPYOGA rocked this lifelong bodybuilder’s world. “I was skeptical about doing the workout until DDP took me through it,” he recalled. “My ego got destroyed. I’d been weight-lifting for years but this was the most difficult thing I’ve done in a gym setting.”
TEAM DDPYOGA MEMBER CAT ARNETT TALKS TRIUMPHS, PLANK CHALLENGES, AND WHO THE BOSS REALLY IS (HINT: IT 'AIN'T THE SCALE!)
9 p.m. EST, WEDNESDAY AUGUST 13 AT DDPRadio.com or 347-994-1216
This week, DDP, Robert, Stacey, and Mike welcome Team DDPYOGA member Cat Arnett - one of the most inspirational and active members of our community! Cat joins us fresh from her recent "Year of the Diamond Cutter" birthday celebration to share her year of triumphs and challenges. Hear how far she has come both physically and emotionally since that fateful December day when Cat attended a DDPYOGA workshop in New Hampshire and her life changed forever.
"There was something so powerful about working out with DDP in person, plus all the wonderful and supportive people who attended the workshop," she recalled. "That day was the moment my life changed forever." Though Cat has dropped nearly 90 pounds on her journey, she says it's the inner healing that has also made a big difference in her life. Learning self-love and kindness, says Cat, have been important to her long-term wellbeing as the daily workouts.
This we have not one but two Shark Tank stars on DDP Radio as DDP welcomes the one and only Arthur Boorman to the show on Wednesday! Arthur is not only the most famous success story in DDPYOGA history, he's an amazing school teacher, so this is your last chance to hear him live before his academic grind resumes in a few weeks.
Arthur will take questions ranging from motivation, how to master challenging positions, and how to work around injuries. And DDP will start the show off by rattling off a few very important updates on what's new in HIS world!
Welcome back DDP who will be joining the show again and then it's on to your questions!
We're going to try this again and cross our fingers that BlogTalk is working correctly!
THIS WEEK ON DDP RADIO
Arthur Boorman takes your calls, answers your questions, and shares his story of Amazing Transformation!
9 p.m. EST, WEDNESDAY July 2
Fresh off his Shark Tank appearance with DDP, the one and only Arthur Boorman will be our guest this week as he answers questions and shares how he changed his thinking and lifestyle to make his remarkable transformation stick. We all know Arthur from his unforgettable YouTube video of how he went from walking on canes for 15 years to a lean and mean DDPYOGA warrior! But the video was made nearly a decade ago. Hear how America's symbol of "Never Give Up" stays the course for years...and YEARS. Some of you will have the pleasure (and challenge) of working out with Arthur personally at the DDPYOGA Retreat Extragavanza this month, but for those who won't be able to make it, Arthur will take questions ranging from motivation, how to master challenging positions, and how to work around injuries.
What do you do when you hit a Plateau? Well that's exactly where we're going to talk about!
THIS WEEK ON DDP RADIO
NUTRITIONIST NANCY GUBERTI
ANSWERS YOUR QUESTIONS ON CLEAN EATING, PROPER SUMMERTIME NUTRITION, AND HOW TO CARE FOR THOSE ALL-IMPORTANT ADRENAL GLANDS!
9 P.M. Wednesday, June 18
Is stress one of the most intimate relationships in your life right now? Chances are, then, that your adrenals are either working overtime or burnt out. Wednesday on DDP Radio, nutritionist and special guest Nancy Guberti will tell us why maintaining healthy adrenal glands is so important and what we can do to take better care of them. Nancy Guberti, M.S., C.N., is a metabolic and functional medicine specialist, certified nutritionist, Defeat Autism Now Practitioner, Gluten-Free Casein-Free (GFCF) diet counselor and healthy lifestyle coach who reports that many of her patients experience adrenal burnout from reasons ranging to jam-packed schedules, not getting enough sleep, and unhealthy food choices. She said the adrenal glands, which are no bigger than a walnut and located above each kidney, are part of the body's endocrine system and secrete more than 50 hormones. "Adrenal fatigue occurs when your adrenal glands cannot adequately meet the demands of
physical pain, inflammation, emotional or psychological stress resulting in body aches, fatigue, nervousness, sleep disturbances, trouble getting up in the morning, feeling rundown or overwhelmed, craving salty or sweet snacks, feeling more awake at night and digestive problems," explained Guberti. "People who train too hard, need stimulation from repeated coffee to stay awake, feel anger, fear, anxiety, sleep deprivation, chronic inflammation and toxic exposure can cause adrenal fatigue if not eating the right nourishing foods and getting enough sleep. Treating adrenal fatigue requires the whole-body approach addresses excess stress and unhealthy lifestyle habits."
Tonight's community show on DDP Radio is dedicated to one of DDP’s favorite topics: ACCOUNTABILITY! It’s not only the name of his Atlanta crib and home base, it’s a principle that runs DDPYOGA and the success stories of its thousands of members. Tonight, Robert, Mike, and Stacey will take your calls and questions regarding the A-Word. It goes without saying that Robert, the technical backbone of DDPYOGA, is well-versed in the art of accountability, Stacey's maintaining a 185-pound weight loss for five years and counting, and Mike Mullins and his Mike at 90 Percent blog is a fantastic example of never giving up.
And we don’t want just questions tonight – we want to hear from YOU on what you proclaim you’ll be accountable for during the month of May and beyond. Is it an issue with time management and getting to sleep at a decent hour so you’ll be more poised for a healthy tomorrow? Are you kicking binge-eating to the curb? Giving gluten or cow-dairy a rest to see if you feel better? Or maybe you want to commit to owning one of the more challenging positions or workouts in DDPYOGA.
Wednesday, it’s a show all about busting the biggest myth of all in the world of DDPYOGA: that clean eating equates to unaffordability. Robert, Stacey, and Mike concur that the most frequent excuse by far they hear from new members is that they can’t eat clean because it’s too expensive. And while eating gluten and dairy-free may not be the cheapest route to go, who says you have to choose processed and prepackaged food? There are plenty of affordable options such as bulk produce, baking mixes instead of premade baked goods, lentils, and inexpensive carbs such as rice, potatoes, and corn.
To prove our point, we welcome special guest, Team DDPYOGA member Jodi Verdi, who’ll talk in detail about how she shops and cooks clean for her entire family – and saves money in the process! It involves strategizing and planning, but she says it can be done.
Wednesday, DDP, Robert, Mike, and Stacey welcome special guest, the author, motivational speaker, and coach Rick Kolster, author of “Roll Up Your Sleeves And Get To Work.” As you may have gathered from the book’s title, Rick Kolster is not a fan of excuses, and has built a reputation on delivering “the bald truth” to clients and students who are having trouble reaching their goals.
“The whole message of my book is attitude,” said Kolster. “What attitude are you waking up with? Are you going to make something happen or let something happen to you?”
The in-demand Kolster, who has also been doing DDPYOGA for the past 8 years, will be raring to take your calls, and that includes busting through the excuses…so bring ‘em on if you dare. His website is www.coachrickkolster.com , and his book is available at http://www.amazon.com/Rick-Kolster/e/B00JRD8F0S# .
“Achieving your dreams is all about commitment and action,” he said. “Excuses just mean that the pain of a particular situation hasn’t become great enough to motivate change. As soon as the pain of being fat is greater than the yumminess of chocolate cake, then the cake doesn’t have as much power.”
Tonight, Robert, Mike, and Stacey will welcome DDP himself…and look out – he just saw the food industry documentary “Fed Up,” and DDP is outraged and in a fire-breathing fury! “I was amazed and horrified by what I saw in that documentary and I want EVERYONE, especially Team DDPYOGA members to see it,” he said. “I knew refined sugar was unhealthy, but I had no idea the extent to which it’s in just about EVERYTHING! The sugar lobby is a very powerful one, but we need to arm ourselves with knowledge and take back our health. Sugar is aging, addictive, and just as aggravating as gluten when it comes to inflammation in the body.”
Call in and state a goal, or something you're giving up in terms of unhealthy food, or a workout commitment or whatever! The best way to be accountable is to tell people what you're doing!
Join us on Wednesday at 9pm EST on DDP Radio at DDPRadio.com where Stacey, Robert and Mike touch upon an important part of your DDP Yoga journey... FORGIVENESS. Specifically, self-forgiveness. This has been a hot topic as of late on DDPRadio and we thought, why not hit it head on and dedicate a whole show to the art of forgiving yourself.
People who choose the DDP Yoga lifestyle, and put in the effort achieve amazing results. Although the misconception of the program is that the journey should be a flawless change from unhealthy to healthy. Unfortunately, buying a set of DVDs will not make your problems go away. Diamond Dallas Page simply gives you the tools and education to own your life, it is YOU who makes the results happen.
Join us on Wednesday as DDP Radio throws a virtual book release party! That’s right, Robert, Mike, and Stacey will be talking about “Clean Comfort,” the just-released cookbook/memoir by co-host and longtime Team DDPYOGA member Stacey Morris.
