Welcome to Unravel Our Travel! In this podcast, Jordan and Lauren chat about travel, including, but not limited to: tips, tricks, tidbits, and any other things that may pop into their minds.
It may have taken nearly a year to edit, but Lauren and Jordan are back with a special episode from Lauren's 2021 Greece trip. Come along for a ride through the Greek islands filled with delicious food, beautiful views, and a proposal! This has truly got it all.
On this special episode of Unravel Our Travel, Lauren and Jordan turn their gaze inwards to discuss their beautiful backyard of Boston. They both have different histories involving this historic city, so this episode has a lot of great recommendations. Tune in!
In this episode, Lauren finally tackles discussing her favorite place in the world: the Highlands of Scotland. Though there's truly no way to do this wild, expansive, and gorgeous place justice other than visiting for yourself, she takes us through her first ever visit there. Chalked full of history, moving moments, music recommendations, and, of, course food references, this has something in it for everyone.
It has been almost 3 years since Lauren and Jordan graduated from college, but they miss it so much they decided to use this episode as a means of remembering the classes they took abroad. They both explore what made their own experiences unique and have a wonderful time reminiscing on a different time of life.
In this latest episode, Lauren revisits the end of her Mediterranean cruise in 2015 that she's sprinkled throughout previous episodes, disembarking in Greece. Take the short boat ride to Agistri, a nearby island, and join us as we lay in the sun, learn about the importance of ouzo shots, and dance through the streets. Then head back over to Athens, where we'll walk to the Acropolis, visit the Temple of Zeus, and enjoy some delicious food. Oh, and of course, more dancing through the streets.

In our first episode of 2021, Jordan and Lauren do something a little different and discuss a cool recent way Lauren "traveled" to Peru virtually via an Airbnb Experience. Hear a little about the amazing host of this "excursion", learn two new Peruvian drink recipes, and join us in starting to dare to imagine where we'd go if we can travel later this year.
Lauren and Jordan discuss what makes Christmas abroad so special and unique. In this episode, they both explore the different ways they have celebrated the holiday season away from home. Merry Christmas!
Lauren spent a short, but fun filled, time in Geneva while abroad in Scotland. She obviously got her fill of delicious food, but also took in a bit of the surrounding culture and even learned about the United Nations. Hear it all on this new episode.
Oh dear - Jordan and Lauren have been doing this podcast for so long Jordan is running out of countries!! But he will find a way. While Jordan still has some countries to discuss, he takes Lauren across Europe to Warsaw. Jordan spent a brief two days there, but still enjoyed himself. Now that we're in the middle of Oktoberfest, Jordan shares the first stop in his month long trip around Central Europe, the small German town of Heidelberg. It's quiet, picturesque, and historical, and we'll be back to revisit it once Lauren returns from her own trip there.
