Living life with anxiety is the norm for me. I thought it was normal to literally question and rehearse events in my head a million times before anything took place. Panic attacks seemed to come with my anxiety. I wasn’t a horrible student but at a young age I definitely had behavioral problems and it stemmed from me not having the cognitive skills to express myself. I often felt alone and always so different from everyone else. Although I had friends I knew there was something very different about me. I knew it was normal for people to become nervous but my nerves would send me into a deep depression. Luckily there has been so much research and professionals dedicated to disarm the stigma behind anxiety and panic attacks.
Sometimes I still suffer from anxiety but I have learned how to cope with it and how to thrive regardless. Here are some tips I would like to share.
