Are you frustrated daily because you can't connect with a child who is out of control or defiant? Ginny Luther has experienced crises in her life that are unimaginable.
Ginny Luther's tremendous knowledge provides creative solutions to many difficult issues facing schools and families today, giving audiences the tools necessary to succeed. Ginny has brought to life the principles of Dr. Becky Bailey's Conscious Discipline to schools, early childhood centers, parents and in mentorship. Both national and internationally Ginny has mentored those who aspire this transformational journey, to unite in building Conscious Discipline communities. In semi-retirement, she maintains her focus to local communities. She also is co-founder of Bart’s Blue Star Foundation non-profit which supports funding opportunities for people on the front lines with children to receive Conscious Discipline training and coaching. Ginny’s most recent accomplishment is the release her book Blue Star Grit: A Mother’s Journey of Triumph and Tragedy Raising a Defiant Child into an Exceptional Leader on May 2, 2023
💥 Through her own experiences and trauma, she helps us see how we can change our approach. 💥 Our response in any moment has an impact on a child – they will mirror us. 💥 The connection we have with them is the key to discipline and what we do in that moment to show empathy or compassion shows them we are a secure person. 💥 Control comes with a cost to connection. Children will blame themselves or us as parents. 💥 How we talk to ourselves is how we talk to children. It reflects our Inner speech. 💥 How many of us are "shouting" our children and provoking shame and guilt? 💥 Peaceful or conscious parenting comes with consequences. We DO NOT give up our limits. Ginny will help us see how we can be assertive, set boundaries and be kind/firm at the same time with concrete examples.

Peaceful or conscious parenting comes with consequences. We DO NOT give up our limits. Ginny will help us see how we can be assertive, set boundaries and be kind/firm at the same time with very clear and actionable examples.
How can we connect with our children to better understand and be proactive when it comes to their mental health? Extended communication is always our best ally. That adage, "What children need most is our time" couldn't be a better fit to help us understand what our children are feeling. That time is not as long as we think it needs to be. It's about the connection.

The Fix Yourself Handbook was completed in December of 2019. His radio show "Fix It With Faust" debuted in June of 2021. https://faustruggiero.com/
💥 Can we try to get away from denial and avoidance behaviors? It can be hard for parents to come to terms with their children's anxiety. No one wants this for their child, and as a result, it can be easy to miss.
💥 If our child is bringing up a complaint, and they are having a difficult time explaining it to us, there may be another problem. We can expand the conversations into other areas of their life to determine if they're hiding anything.
💥 Children don't always express themselves efficiently. This life moves fast, and as a result, anxiety gains momentum quickly.
💥 Is it wise to educate our children, even the younger children, about anxiety, what it feels like, and how to talk about it?
💥 How does validation positively affect our children and how do we respond when we don't agree with their actions or choices?

Sara Olsher is a single mom and cancer survivor, and was chosen as a 2023 Remarkable Woman by Nexstar Media. Sara is the founder of Mighty + Bright, which provides a wealth of information and tools to help overwhelmed parents prioritize mental health for their kids, learning together and incorporating coping skills into day-to-day life. When parents are dealing with something hard, our kids are too. When we’re trying to survive, how do we help our kids through the worst thing that ever happened to them?
When faced with the worst thing that’s ever happened to you, how do you want to show up for yourself — and your family? Sara Olsher is a cancer survivor and also experienced a difficult divorce when her daughter was under 2 years of age.
💥 How do we build a foundation for open communication with our children to support them while we make our way forward? Our children know when something is wrong in our homes, even if they can't identify what it is and often we will see it in their behaviours as they become anxious and worried. 💥 She's developed a multitude of resources for parents to help our children cope, including children's books specifically about cancer and divorce. The mission of her company Mighty + Bright is to raise a resilient generation of kids who can handle life's toughest stuff. Sara learned the hard way that not talking about crises is the opposite of what we should be doing. 💥 Letting people help in times of crisis also gives them the ability to offer care and compassion, as the CEO of her company did for her. 💥 What skills do we need when we're handling fear ourselves?

"All kids just want to be seen, heard, and accepted."
Allison Livingston is passionate about helping parents connect with their strong-willed children. She has developed a five-step framework to help parents and guardians connect rather than react with their children. When children display combative behavior, it is often a result of something that is going on underneath for them. It is important for parents to take a step back and figure out what their child is really trying to communicate. By doing so, they can help their child not be reactive and instead have a more balanced and connected relationship.

When Karen's first child was born she stopped breathing. Yes, she did survive—but it kept happening. Three years later they learned her daughter was missing a part of her brain that controlled breathing.
It became Karen's mission to learn all things neuroscience. She hunted down knowledge with neurologists across the world and in universities across Canada and the States.
If we understand our brains, we can trick them into helping us live better.
It’s unfair but people with intrusive behaviours often get judged harshly in this world. As President of the International Joubert Syndrome Foundation Karen has advocated for sufferers of brain-behaviour problems like her daughter. Advocacy—driven by compassion and science—is still a part of her work today.

Are you ready to take the first step to turn your life around?
Dr. Stephan Neff is passionate about demystifying mental health problems and helping the people around him 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗷𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆.
He is uniquely qualified in this role. After all, a lifetime of trauma led Stephan to drown his sorrows, only to find that the critters can swim. As an alcoholic in recovery, he has experienced addiction and mental health problems first-hand. After successful rehabilitation, Stephan is now an expert in 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗹 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆.
In his book "My steps to Sobriety" he shares the lessons he has learned as a doctor and as a man. And the truth is simple - The past does not equal the future. Every alcoholic can turn his life around, one little decision at a time. This book shows how to do it. But would it not make sense to start earlier? Stephan believes that it is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men. His creative partnership with Belinda Managh has led to the beautiful "Esmee the mindful mouse"-series, which addresses core beliefs that are laid down in early childhood.
Stephan also hosts, "Steps to sobriety - Into the Light" and helps demystify mental health problems and addiction.

Content Warning // Death and Dying// Near-Death Experience
While dying from lung failure in 1999, Kathy McDaniel was placed on a ventilator and into a drug-induced coma. 𝐀𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞, Kathy shares her recollections of her near-death experience in hell, a manifestation of what she believed it would be. It is graphic and a caution that her recollections for the first 8 minutes can be disturbing.
Kathy says she moved from that very dark place to Heaven's waiting room and tries to find the words to express the love, joy, and bliss she felt. The overwhelming bliss of Heaven she experienced shifted her religious beliefs to deep spirituality. Kathy prays daily to be loving, kind, merciful, forgiving, encouraging, grateful, faithful, and non-judgmental. She can't wait to "go home" again and tells us we have so much to look forward to.
Kathy credits the members of IANDS (International Association for Near-Death Studies) for her eventual integration of the Disturbing NDE, and the ability to accept the sacred mission that caused her reluctant return to Earth.
Kathy is also the author of the memoir, Misfit in Hell to Heaven Expat..

If you are a first responder or are supporting someone in that role, Thomas Wurm is forging a healthy path forward.
Thomas studied wildland fire for fourteen years on firelines and in doing so, he saw a gap in the mental health services being provided to wildland firefighters through official channels. Per his training, Thomas recognized that if a gap exists, it must be called out and closed. The intention of Mountain Mind Tricks is to help wildland firefighters develop leadership, peak performance, and mindset so they can reach their highest potential on the line and at home. He wants to fully support first responders in the areas of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health by reframing the way in which the community is dealing with the mental health crisis.

Courtney McCarthy is the CEO and founder of Loyobo FIT, a fitness community dedicated to helping people (but especially women) to ditch diet culture, to find joy in movement and to finally figure out how to love their body. Courtney's own journey with health and weight loss inspired her to become an ACE certified fitness professional. She learned the hard way how broken our views are towards women's bodies and health. How the model that the fitness industry presents to us as the answer keeps us stuck and feeling worse. It's not just about "exercising more and eating less". It was only when she learned to accept her body and learn how to really have FUN with movement that she started to heal from chronic IBS, as well as low self esteem. Working in the fitness industry made her realize how toxic most gyms and studios are -especially for women! How the traditional model just doesn't work for so many people. Her mission is to prove that there is another way. One that put people at the center of it all and guiding people through how to use fitness as a foundation for self-love and confidence. How to understand and DITCH diet culture. How to see themselves as more than just a body and find joy in movement.

Lee-Ann Epp, a solo parent of four children, turned a passion into a career. The way she sees it, nothing ever stays the same, and we can look at things as a way to grieve or to celebrate. She chooses to celebrate by taking the time to embrace the unfolding nature of life. Taking time to learn from books, from friends, from other business owners and creatives. But mostly to always learn from herself.
With four children all busting to define their own lives on their own terms, life is busy for Lee-Ann! So when you connect with her, she completely understands that your life is busy and will make your experience with her as easy as possible.
Lee-Ann's work is natural, simplistic, and instinctual as a photographer. She works with children, families, love, and everything in between.
