In 2001 David was the shortest male model ever to appear in Vogue Magazine, photographed by Helmut Newton in six pages alongside supermodel Kate Dillon. David has also appeared in several national commercials, movies, and TV shows. His last modeling job paid him $9,000 for a 6 hour day.

- Choose to be happy – Surround yourself with positive influences. Also, be sure you are being that positive influence on others around you! Find 2-3 friends that you will ‘do life’ with. Let these women be your rock, who you will share your darkest secrets and biggest dreams. They will be your encouragement, when you don’t believe in yourself.
- Deal with the Pain – If there is something you are holding on to and its seems to be holding you back, admit it and let it go. Whatever it is you are dragging behind you, is only slowing you down. Get the help you need, so you can be free. Your friends, you “do life” with will help keep you moving forward.
- Love on Yourself – Not to love yourself, but to love on yourself. It is easy for us women to get caught up in the business of life, taking care of everyone else. Make sure to take time out of your schedule to love on yourself and do something that will fill you back up. It can be a simple change, like taking a new route to work, or put something on the calendar to look forward to, like date night or a girl’s trip. Whatever it is, do something for yourself. It will make you a better person and able to live more alive! No matter what life throws at you.
