We were honoured this week to chat to holistic bookkeeper, energy healer and one of our beautiful TFY students, Julie Michels.
Julie took us on her intriguing and inspirational journey from experiencing her first spiritual moment at age sixteen, through to her awakening with depression and gut issues to where she is today, and what the future holds.
We were enlightened with Julie's approach to how she lives her life and her deep connection with herself that she has cultivated through meditation, yoga, healing modalities such as kinesiology and prioritising self care.
If you are unsure of what "listening to your gut" feels like or how to start being more intuitive, Julie gives some really simple and well articulated tips on this too!
Such an amazing, grounded soul to have on the show, we know Julie's energy will shine through to you and hopefully inspire you to make positive change in your life.
Follow Julie on Instagram for her love-fuelled posts and find her for holistic bookkeeping on Facebook or her website here.
This week we chat to none other than...EACH OTHER!
We thought it was high time we did another podcast with just the two of us to fill you all in on what has been happening in Two Feet land.
On this episode we delve into our huge mindset and energy shifts over the last month or so which have resulted in us launching another arm of Two Feet, Two Feet Creative.
It was interesting to discuss how we both hold ourselves back (limiting belief alert) from talking about what we do and really throwing ourselves out there. As you'll hear, having the beautiful Renee in our lives has really shaken things up, as well as our brand new mastermind group with the gorgeous BUF girls.
We are all about building community and empowering our tribe to thrive with everything that we do, and Two Feet Creative is no exception.
Once we made the decision to GO FOR IT the universe has supported us every step of the way...
We'd love you to be part of this journey with us, so head on over to our website (twofeetcreative.com.au) and follow us on social media (@twofeetcreative).
It would be awesome if you could share this with anyone you think could benefit from what we do.

We loved our chat this week with the gorgeous Milly from The Healthy Cocktail, an amazing organic, cold-pressed juice and smoothie online business.
Another open, honest and authentic discussion, delving into Milly's health journey, the recovery process and of course, how and why she started The Healthy Cocktail and her plans for the future.
Milly has a beautiful and uplifting presence which shines through this conversation. Well and truly living her purpose and being, as we have now coined, completely "enter-thentic".
If you ever wanted to know more about juicing, the benefits of a cleanse and the process of detoxing, then listen in because Milly covers all of this very succinctly.
Which leads us to the YOGA BENDER! Our weekend at-home health retreat.
Three days of organic, cold-pressed juices and smoothies delivered to your door from Milly at The Healthy Cocktail. Three days of unlimited yoga at the our studio. Three at home yoga practice videos. Three guided audio meditations. PLUS email support and a daily schedule to follow, so all you need to do is show up.
This is a program that we passionately put together with Milly to ensure optimum results from the weekend. Expect to feel lighter, more energised and invigorated!
Our first Bender kicks off on April 8th. Prioritise your health and yourself and come join us!
Go follow Milly on Facebook @thehealthycocktail or on Instagram @healthycocktail and make sure you try her deliciously nourishing products.
We were so grateful to have the chance to sit down with the beautiful Nathan Leigh Jones on this episode, fellow podcast host (Pop Psych), psychology student, musician, voiceover artist and all around rad human.
NLJ goes deep with us about the evolution of himself, what he has learnt so far in his self-explorative journey and how he plans to share this knowledge and wisdom with the world.
This episode goes into detail about his "coming-out" story (or as he likes to put it, his actualisation) and how this sparked him to step into his true self.
We know this is powerful stuff and we hope that it reaches others that may be on a similar path. If you feel like you need help or support around this, please see the Reach Out website for resources in your area (au.reachout.com/lgbtiq-support-services).
NLJ also shares the unique concept of his podcast (and potential app) Pop Psych, drawing aspects of popular music with popular psychology. So interesting and fun, go anc check it out here.
As he says on his website, Nathan's "ultimate goal is to use music, speech and thought to help others flourish in their lives". We love it.
Go and check him out here and tell him we send hugs!
It's all about GIRLPOWER this week on the show, with the gorgeous BUF Girls (Newcastle/Lake Macquarie/Maitland) owners and fitness trainers Britt and Shell.
We are grateful for these girls as they bare all with us on this episode, sharing their stories and struggles and how they inspire their "girls" with their own life experiences.
The authenticity and genuine nature of both girls shines through in this chat (and their business) and this is what we love so much about them!
There is so much wisdom imparted, especially about the girls using their fitness sessions as a "vehicle" to promote positive body image, community spirit and realness.
As Shelley said during this episode, "Move your body to shift your mind!".
Learn how the BUF girls motivate their tribe to reframe negative thought patterns and see movement as fun, not punishment. And how they view the influence of social media on us (as women) and the wellness industry as a whole.
We are CERTAIN that you will learn something during this podcast, it got our minds a flutter, that's for sure.
Big love to Britt and Shell, you can find more info on them and what they offer on their website and check out their fun videos and photos on social media (@bufnewcastle).
This week we had the pleasure of catching up with Mr Marcus Pearce, podcast host (Your Exceptional Blueprint), podcast co-host (100 Not Out), creator of The Exceptional Life Blueprint program and CEO of The Wellness Couch.
Marcus is wise beyond his years (only 35!) and we have an amazing discussion about all things life purpose and living your best life.
He leads us through his life journey and what he has learnt about living his best life and how he shares these learnings with others.
Marcus believes in living with purpose and that "it's not what you do, it's how you do it" which we absolutely love and subscribe to. And tenacity is key, as we talk about!
This podcast will help you put things into perspective, maybe look at where your priorities and focus are at and how you can shift your behaviour to create your best life.
Marcus runs us through his program, the Exceptional Life Blueprint, with the eight facets to creating a quality lifestyle and legacy. If you jump onto his website you can access his free training program to get you started.
Go and follow Marcus on social media (@marcusdpearce) and send him our love, he is a legend!

Oh and hit us up with your creative proposals...We'd love to work with you!
This week we connected with the gorgeous goddess Renee Wilkinson - Kinesiologist, intuitive and meditation guide.
Renee came into our lives only a short while ago, but has had such a massive impact on us that we have brought her on board as our "third foot", now teaching a weekly meditation class for us, with much more to come in the future!
In this podcast, Renee speaks about how she first became engaged in energy work, from seeing and feeling things from a young age to then getting an education from her Mum's meditation teacher.
Renee shares her story of how she became disconnected to this huge part of herself, receiving a huge wake up call in the process, to then coming back to her true self with more confidence and beliefs than ever before!
We get Renee to divulge some tips on how so we can all start bringing this intuitive sense into our daily lives and connect more deeply with our own energy, something to jot down and come back to again and again.
Renee is insightful, engaging and authentic and we were truly honoured to have her on this podcast episode, as well as in our lives!
We know you will resonate with her story and the message that she conveys in this chat, and would love to hear your thoughts (email us: hello@twofeetyoga.com.au).
Listen to this episode with all of your presence, then go and follow her on Instagram (@thecheekyintuitive) and find out more about her and what she does on her website (reneewilkinson.org).

Strap yourself in for the biggest burst of bubbly energy with this week's podcast guests Carla and Emma Papas (The Merrymaker Sisters).
In a macadamia shell (their words, love it), the girls help people live happier, healthier lives through healthy recipes, simple mindset switches and finding and following their bliss.
Carla and Emma took a huge dive into their business from their corporate jobs back in 2014, sharing wholefood recipes from their own personal journeys into living healthier lifestyles.
The girls talk through the path they followed out of these jobs to where they are today - Bloggers, podcasters, cookbook authors, app creators
They are super inspirational and have a clear message, which we subscribe to as well - Find what you love and do it and don't be afraid to get a little uncomfortable to get where you want to be.
We loved their take on self-talk, how they both experienced years of putting themselves down and wasted so much time "stuck in their heads", especially with negative eating patterns.
So many women (including us) can relate to these struggles and how they have come out the other side through dedication to changing their mindsets and moving to a real food way of life.
Gratitude is something Carla and Emma come back to a lot during this podcast, if you want to bring more of this into your life, check out our guided gratitude meditation here: twofeetyoga.com.au/meditation/gratitude-meditation
Some of the great resources Carla and Emma mentioned include:

The Miracle Morning - Hal Elrod

Do you ever look at taking a weekend away and then think 'nah, better not'.
Here's about a million reasons why you SHOULD take a weekend away (we'd love you to come with us in a few weeks, but no pressure).
We'd also LOVE if you'd leave us a review on iTunes as it helps us a lot!
The guest this week is...US!
We wanted to sit down and chat about an article that went completely viral this week - "Bullshit, You Aren't Living" by Janne Robinson.
(Here is the link: thoughtcatalog.com/janne-robinson/2017/01/bullshit-you-arent-living)
This article really resonated with us and we thought it would be fun to riff on it with you.
Our intention is to inspire you to think about what you do day to day and ask yourself, "IS THIS SERVING ME?". As in, does this fill my cup/make me happy/fulfill my desires (not just my needs)?
We dive into all different angles, from numbing out (with TV/phones/social media), how to transition into being an entrepreneur, taking "little leaps" towards your goals and dreams, discovering not just your passion but also your play and so much more...
Excuse our little freakout towards the end as we thought our recording stopped (hence the silence).
As usual, we reference Jonathon Fields, who is literally the most inspiring person we know and someone who is truly living his purpose. The podcast episode we talked about you can find on iTunes under the "Good Life Project". Episode is titled "Are you happy, or afraid?".
Cindra also mentioned the epic Tim Ferriss, who you can find at fourhourworkweek.com/
We want you to know that whatever you are doing, you are AMAZING and we simply wanted to share our perspective of this broad-reaching topic with you...
If you need further help and support with your life direction and purpose, we highly recommend speaking to a mental health professional.
And if you are already LOVING your life, then props to you! Maybe you can share this with someone who needs it.
PS We did mention our relatively new services on the podcast - We love to help those in the health and fitness space reach broader audiences and develop their communities...We'd love to hear from YOU if this is something you want to collaborate on. Email us hello@twofeetyoga.com.au

Willis Johnston joins us on the podcast this week, a beautiful yogi, dancer and choreographer who radiates joy and enthusiasm wherever he goes!
Willis is originally from the US but now mostly lives in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where he teaches and co-ordinates yoga retreats aiming at exposing the beauty and culture of Mexico to yoga-loving foreigners.
We are grateful to Willis for his honest and inspirational words as he shares his emotional journey from professional dancer for Cirque du Soleil to starting his yoga teacher journey in Mexico with Anna Laurita from Davannayoga (where Cindra also trained), to where he is today.
Willis has a poetic and beautiful way with words as he weaves us through his aspirations for the future and where he draws his courage and passion from to pursue his dreams.
We think Willis is just awesome. And we know you will too!
You can find him through his website (flyingheartflow.com) for all of his upcoming events, follow him on Instagram and Facebook (@flyingheartflow).
He'd love to see you in Mexico, make sure you tell him that we sent you.

Oh goodness, we crack ourselves up for the first minute or so of this recording!
Bear with us as we unveil an amazing chat with our friend Emma Maidment.
We were so blessed to meet the beautiful Em at the Wanderlust festival in 2016.
Young Em is a yoga teacher and mindful-marketing guru, who infuses heart into everything she does.
On this podcast, we discuss the "experience" myth, what life as an entrepreneur is like, why hard work is important and how sometimes you need to start before you think you're ready!
Em shares with us her passion for living life by your own design, having moved from being employed by a tech-start up company to taking the leap of becoming a solo entrepreneur.
She offers PR, marketing and branding consultations for businesses in the health and wellness space, as well mindful marketing workshops as discussed on the podcast. Find her at www.emmamaidment.com and on Instagram as @em_mermaid

We are overcome with emotion this week as both of us move through the powerful full moon energy!
This bonus episode touches on the importance of checking in (not just with yourself, but with those around you as well), being aware of your thought patterns, the value of true human connection, how we tune/tune out our minds, our 2017 mantras and intentions, using your time wisely (and giving yourself space), PLANNING.
The TFY ladies offer their suggestions on how to "train your brain", be more productive (without going into overwhelm), look after yourself so you can better give to others, preventing burnout and creating your OWN way to live.
We also share our WHYs and what we want for YOU, our amazing TFY tribe!
