Racism...it is a nasty word, a nasty reality which stains societies around the world and has caused immense suffering for centuries. During the 18th and 19th centuries, the issue of racism was able to be well established within pseudo-scientific spaces where evil and uneducated people assumed there are "hierarchies" of race.
In society today we know what "influencers" do. They shape our perspective on issues of social interest. In the 18th and 19th century there were already such influencers.
In this episode we will meet two of the men who shaped the idea of "hierarchy of race", leading to the disasters of racism in the world today.
