We can all be fighting for breakthrough but lose sight of the goal in the midst of it all. How have you've been fighting?
To embrace breakthrough, there has to be change. This is where spiritual disciple help guide the change within us.
As we get ready for our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting, we have to remind ourselves that there is power in preparation.
Breakthrough starts by focusing on God first then we have to make room for breakthrough to happen.

As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday we are reminded what we are to be grateful for.
For the Church to impact the world around us, we have to understand that God is the one who transforms the heart, not our words.
In this journey, the more we draw closer to Christ the more we learn about the Holy Spirit.

During our Kingdom Builders: Missions Convention, we heard a message from one of the missionaries we support in Kenya, Cheryl Taylor.
God has commissioned us to "go into all the world," we as a church have to see the people around us and take that first step of compassion in a world of skepticism.
As we start off the season for mission, we hear a compelling word from a missionary from Haiti; Ed Garvin.
We have authority through Christ. The question is, what are speaking out with that authority?
Throughout the bible we see a recurring lifestyle: a God-purposed and God-centered life.
In the times we live in it is easy to be worried and try to take control of something in our life. With the little we can control God needs all of us.
In our journey to become more like Christ, we find ourselves going through different stages of our spiritual walk. Our job is to understand the stage we are in and choose to grow to the next stage in Christ.
As we start the new year, we have been given the opportunity to reset things in our life. The main concern of God is our hearts.
As crazy as this year has been, God told us to go beyond at the beginning of the year. We didn't expect "going beyond" would mean all this but this is trust comes in. Knowing and trusting that He has it all working for His glory.
Though we may know what the promise is but we forget that God is focused on who we are becoming through the process.
This season of Christ's birth, Mary shows us how being positioned in all areas will prepare us for God's promise for our lives to be fulfilled.
In our last week of "Authentic," we concluded by unpacking the assurance that God promises to those who have authentic faith in Him.
Countless times we see and hear people say "I love you" or "I love God." But if they don't show authentic love from the heart they are like a "clanging cymbal."
Through the bible we see those who had authentic faith but we can see a common thread in their lives, a lifestyle of holiness.
God is love in all it's meaning but God does hate a specific kind of love. That is the love for anything of this world. Those two kinds of loves can never coexist and Pastor Tom helps us see the kind of love can easily mislead us.
Out of all the principles we can read in the bible or listen to in a sermon, God is wanting us to grasp just one... obedience. But this is a special kind of obedience, not just a checklist but a real and compelled obedience.
As we start this new series, Pastor Tom helps us take a good look at what we've allowed shape our faith. It could be things we've heard or just interpreting thing the wrong way. There has to be a point to understand whats truth and what's not.
As we wrap this series, we take a look at a theme of God's promise that calls us to be overcomers in Christ.
There is only one life we have to live. The question is, where do you fall on the spectrum of being hot or cold?

No matter the times you live in, it doesn't change the coming of Christ. We must be aware of the signs and be encouraged that our future and hope are in someone bigger than anything in this life.
There is no greater sacrifice than the cross. In all of the world He chose to die for you but what are you going to do with that gift? Accept or reject it.
What has been your guidance in life? Your conscious or the Holy Spirit? One been lead my self, another being lead by someone who knows and sees more than we ever can.
In difficult situations and circumstances we make decision that effect our future. What will you do in those kinds of times?
With the constant anxiety and stress that can come from so many places around us there has to a cause of all of it. The bible shows how important discernment is in the culture we live because it'll show things we can't see when we are focused on the wrong things.
