J.S.K XXVI strikes again with a summer tune! The festive season is upon us, so that means good vibes only. And what better way to pay tribute to Riky Rick than on a track that oozes the late rapper's pure energy and joy?
J.S.K XXVI starts his verse on 'STRiKE' by remembering Mr Boss Zonke, Rikhado "Riky Rick" Makhado who co-signed him in 2015
Having already given his audience a summer track with F.E.D.E, the skilful artist strikes again and he's not doing it solo. 'STRiKE' features musicians Eyelukeyung and Prycie as they make the message clear that they are all about the grind, which is why they "only pick up the phone unless the money's calling".
Known for his multifacetedness in beat-making and executively producing all of his tracks, on 'STRiKE' the Mpumalanga-born artist stepped out of his comfort zone and left the executive reigns to his collaborators.
"Disengaging from fear is imperative for one's growth.... the constant fight with what to do next. This is the reason I opted to go with a song like 'STRiKE' — the perfect balance between trusting Prycie and Eyelukeyung, sharing my platform and striking down the fear — as this is the first ever single by me that I did not executively compose," J.S.K XXVI says.

Having unveiled his captivating and futuristic sound with his previous tracks such as "Apex", "Flying Whales", "Moodswings" and several others, J.S.K XXVI is no new act in Hip Hop.

In 2012 I buried my friend "Shaun Maswilli" who committed suicide which sent me into a deep depression. I underwent depression for a full 9 years and only could begin to overcome it in May 2019. I told myself I'd never attend a funeral again after that but I went to 2 within the space of 2 years (2018 & 2019) where we buried uncle Kabelo and aunt Nonhlanhla (where both passing's were natural). This week I lost my uncle (from my dad's side) who took his own life. Today is his funeral but I can't attend it. Not because I can't go but because I'm afraid of what it'll do to me. I hope he understands as much as I understand how tired he must've been.
Instead, I'm releasing an unofficial song which I hope helps anyone going through a hard time. Brenden Praise and I were supposed to release this song about 2 years ago but due to unforeseen reasons we couldn't. I hope you find strength in this and that you understand that it does get better. I know because I've had suicide attempts before but I've been able to recover from those pits.
The song is only available on YouTube, Soundcloud and Slikouronlife (for download purposes). Some of you may have heard and loved the solo version of the song but this just feels right for me. Thank you.❤🦋
