Hi! 👋

Welcome to the I Think We Should Talk Podcast where we talk about how life in your 20's makes absolutely no sense! HA!

... But really though, I'm bringing you guys another long awaited episode where we talk about what it means to make a comeback-- mentally, physically, spiritually, etc.

At this point I feel like the sum of this podcast is about how to pick yourself back up after falling, but also how to pick yourself back up after periods of doubting yourself, figuring shit out, and just overall trying to be better and feel better.

I hope you guys like this episode!

Hi Hi! Wanted to bring ya'll a fun lil mini episode as a nice little breather from the big, overwhelming episode I'm putting out in conjunction with this. So yeah. A lot's happened. I'm not okay. I'm not happy about a lot of things. I'm sad. I'm angry. I'm confused. I am all the emotions-- all at once. Frustrated doesn't even begin to cover it. And oh yeah, I'm back by the way, cause I can't take sitting back anymore not saying anything. Not voicing my opinion. If I can help it, I have to help take a stand and bring about some conversation, and a voice of reason into all this because the world is a wild, scary, crazy place. That said, I know things aren't all bad all the time, and I genuinely was going through it when I recorded this episode. Be advised though... definitely NSFW.

I hope you're angry enough like me to help enact change. For resources to support in the fight for women's reproductive rights, visit:

Happy February Ya'll!! So much happening at all times but I'm so excited to bring ya'll a brand new episode all about recognizing the power that we have to take charge of our own lives and make things happen in the ways that work for us-- in ways that make sense for us.

Life is about prioritizing your needs so that you can start to share those blessings with other people. We can't give if we haven't yet taken care of our own needs. I'm aiming to do a lot more of that this year!

How many times have we all done things or went along with things just because we wanted to make other people happy? I'm working really hard to not do that, and I hope that through this episode ya'll can start to adapt those habits into your every day lives as well!!

Love you guys so so much!!

Hi!  I really hope that you're feeling good. That you're okay and healthy and well, and thriving. But... if you're not, that's okay too! I really wanted to make this episode be about making the best out of sucky situations and further how to help each other get out of this rut that I think many of us have been feeling.

It's hard to be excited about life sometimes when things just don't feel great or exciting or eventful. I know for myself I've felt that about 1000x over during the last few weeks. I'm really grateful to have some good people in my corner to turn to for love and support and I'm really grateful that I get to be here for all of you and can hopefully share some love and support with you all as well.

I hope you enjoy this episode, and I'm so glad we're on this crazy train together 🤪. Love ya'll !

Also if you'd be so kind as to leave a rating on my podcast on Spotify, I'd love you forever 🥰

"5, 4, 3, 2, 1..." It's a new year, which means it's time to shed some of that extra emotional baggage I think that I've been carrying around all year. I think it's high time I start letting go of the things about myself that I know I have the power to change, and walking into 2022 as a truly happier person.

These things aren't going to happen overnight, but I'm really glad I'm able to start the growth process right now, and work on getting rid of these things for good so that I can truly thrive.

I'm so excited to share all of these things with you all in this episode, and I'm so happy ya'll have been here on this ride with me over the last few years.

Remember that none of us is perfect, and that it takes work, rest, and determination to keep going even on the hardest of days. I hope ya'll can remember that as we begin to enter into 2022.

Hope ya'll have a beautiful new year and I look forward to catching up with ya'll later this month for some fun new discoveries on part 2 of season 3!

Take care fam!!

Here's the deal. As we wrap up 2021, I thought it was really important that we remember to reward ourselves for the small gains we made this year. 2021 proved to be just as hard-- if not harder than 2020, and the fact that we made any shred of progress in any way this year is something to be celebrated.

I think sometimes we forget to cheer ourselves on when we do something for ourselves that makes our lives better, or something that gets us that much closer to achieving the goals that we set out for ourselves.

This episode is all about celebrating those wins in a big way, and walking into the new year feeling like you can do anything you want to do!

I love ya'll. Hope you guys have had a lovely holiday season!

Hi!

I'll be the first to admit that I tend to form opinions about everything pretty quickly and I don't give myself a lot of time to give things a chance, and most importantly to be surprised.

Sometimes the situations, events, and circumstances in my life tend to dictate why I do certain things or why I make the choices I make, and often I expect a lot out of everything and everyone I come into contact with.

I know that a lot of these biases come from a place of frustration and hurt, and sometimes it's just me deciding that I'm not willing to grow or learn from these situations that are placed in front of me. That kind of thinking is really damaging and that's something I wanna dispel in today's episode. If you're anything like me, come along with me on this journey of self discovery and growth-- it might be hard but it's definitely all worth it!!

Allow yourself to be the Karate Kid, wax on, wax off.

Love ya'll!

Happy Thanksgiving all you awesome people!!

As the holidays are fast approaching, I wanted to share the little things that I cling to that help me deal with all the things that stress me out, and make me feel overwhelmed. I hope that you can find some happiness in these things I'm sharing with ya'll.

Hey Hey Fam!

In this new season, I thought it was important to talk about all the times in life when we don't feel confident and finding ways to have the courage to stand up to tell people what you will or won't tolerate in your life. And most importantly, having the knowledge the know what it is you do want in your life and going after it!

Woo boy! Ever had some wild experience with people in your life that made you start to question yourself? Your values, principles, and beliefs? I know that I have. And the thing is that only you know who you are, what you stand for, what you care about. Only you know the things that bring you true joy and excitement, and the thing is the people, places and things that don't give you that sense of joy don't deserve to hold precious space in your life.

This week we're talking about knowing your worth, letting go of the reservations you may have about turning off the things in this world that have been causing you undue stress or pain or frustration. You deserve a happy, healthy life, so go get it fam!

Really hope ya'll take something meaningful from today's episode. I love ya'll and I'll talk to you soon!

Hi hi hi!!! Welcome back to another marvelous episode of the I Think We Should Talk Podcast! I'm so excited you're here and helping me celebrate the launch of season 3 of this podcast!

We're kicking things off with a conversation about mentorship, about becoming a person that people can look up to, go to for advice and help to inspire others to greatness. I've had an abundance of people in my life who have acted as my mentors (whether they knew it or not!). I figured it was high time to talk about how to return that favor and help someone else achieve THEIR dreams!

Stay tuned this weekend for even more amazing content coming your way ;)

Hey Hey!!

Wowowow. Here we are, at the end of Season 2!! Can you believe it!?! I know I can't! It's so insane to me that somehow almost a year into starting this podcast journey I've already published two seasons and over 40 episodes!

A lot of growth has happened since I started this thing a year ago, and I've learned a lot about myself along the way. I guess it was really important for me to document that both here on the podcast over the last few months, but also in my own life. I've done a lot of changing and growing and I'm really proud of all the things I've done. There's been a crazy amount of ups and downs, but the thing is, I wouldn't change any second of it!

Join me in this final episode of season 2 as I recap all the changes I've been through, life lessons learned, and about where I'm headed from here!

Love ya'll! I'll talk to you soon!!

Hi Everybody!

Coming atcha with yet another episode for all of you wonderful people! This week we're talking about what it means to live a good life. It's been hard trying to piece that together for myself and things are still so weird for me right now.

I'm realizing though, that having a good life, doesn't mean having everything perfect. It means loving yourself, and finding joy in the little things you do have!

Take a minute to find those small things in your life right now that continue to make you feel good today and everyday.

"When you try your best but you don't succeed..."

Hey ya'll in today's episode we're talking about being disappointed. The thing is that life is going to throw us a myriad of disappointments. I've had things happen lately that caused me a lot of disappointment, but weren't things I could really control.

I think life is all about learning how to dance in the rain, and figure things out as you go. I hope that with this episode ya'll are able to find that joy, give yourselves a break, and know that you deserve happiness, peace, and if something or someone keeps disappointing you, that you don't have to stay there.

Hey! Hi! How are you?

I hope you're doing well! In this weeks' episode, we're talking about my experience going to school during a panini, lol nah but for real, going to school during a pandemic is tough. And the thing is I know I have it a lot better than a lot of other people, but I think there's still so much of this experience that collectively, I think many of us in school are struggling with.

I often wonder will I be ready for a career once I finish my program since everything is online? Will I have the skills I need to be successful?

We're talking all about that on today's episode!

Ever feel like there's this constant pressure to have your cake and eat it too? I always feel like in life there's this expectation to be doing better at all times-- to have a better job, to make more money, to be more fit, the list goes on and on. And the thing is, progress is a good thing, but I think that sometimes it's important for us to remember that we are FULLY deserving of love and happiness at any phase of the process. You should still get to treat yourself to a cute outfit even if you haven't lost all the weight. You still deserve to feel happy after a bad breakup. You still deserve to have moments of peace in situations of chaos and stress.

Life is all about balance. And I think the important thing is that we find little ways to thrive in our contentment. We should be celebrating the little victories, and taking care of ourselves when we feel down, when we don't feel like we're at the top of our game.

This weeks' episode is all about being content with where you are, what you have, and knowing when it's time to do better for yourself, not because someone else wants you to, but because you want it!

Really hope ya'll enjoy the episode!!

" R- E- S- P- E-C-T, Find out what it means to me..."

Ya'll I've got something to say. Today's episode is all about some tough love that I'm throwing atcha this week. There's a lot to be said about what it means to respect someone. Especially in this time where life is a mess-- many people don't have love and respect for each other and it comes from a place of hatred or anger or frustration, mostly from themselves.

I'm not about that life and I know that ya'll aren't either, so make sure to listen to the episode, and let's all find ways to make our communities, our friend circles and our country better, one lil episode at a time! :)

Hey Ya'll!

How ya doing on this fine day? Are you doing okay? Are you checking in with yourself? Are you drinking enough water and getting enough rest? Are you taking up too much time dwelling on the past? On things you can't change? On bad situations?

Let me tell you right now, stop. Just stop.

Stop looking in the rearview hoping things will miraculously change by you somehow placing all your time and attention on it. You deserve better. You deserve happiness and peace. Especially when your past might not look that great.

Keep moving forward. That's what we're talking about in this episode. I really hope ya'll enjoy it!

Hi Everybody! Phew! I don't know about ya'll but the last few weeks have been crazy for me That also includes the podcast. We've been talking about some pretty heavy hitting things, and I decided to just come at you guys with some more laid back content focusing on the things I'm learning about myself right now.

I like doing things in my own way, in my own time, and I don't want to feel pressured to make decisions that won't work for me. I think knowing yourself is so important and I'm so grateful for this time at home to learn these things so that when I get back out into the world, I am better equipped with the skills to be successful.

I really hope you enjoy the episode, and make sure to share the content someone who might like to hear something like this too! :)

I think it's really important that we talk about where we're headed as a country. As a individuals who've gone through A LOT in the span of 12 months. How do we get better? How do we grow into being a society that cares more about it's people? That wants to protect and support its people? These are the questions I'm seeking to answer in this weeks' episode.

This one is so so important so I hope that if you liked what you heard on this episode, that you start having those hard conversations. That we start talking about being kinder, being more appreciate, being more humble so that we can all thrive.

Hey ya'll! Your girl is back for yet another episode of the podcast! In this weeks' episode, we're talking about your personal space--wherever you call home in this crazy covid world. We're talking about the fact that maybe your home doesn't necessarily feel like your home because you had to move in somewhere as a result of this pandemic that maybe you didn't want to be.

We've all had to make sacrifices in our lives, but how do we deal with not having the physical space to feel comfortable, to do the things that we want to do? How do we travel to that luxurious bedroom we keep seeking on Insta?

We're breaking it all down today, and I really hope that for all of you going through this too, know that I'm right there with you, and know that this is all temporary! Find your piece in the best way that you can!

In this weeks' episode, we're talking about how to deal with challenges placed in your midst that you have the power to change. Sometimes life throws us curveballs, and we have to learn how to dodge them the best we can. An obstacle to me is something you have the power to change or overcome, even if it might feel impossible.

I'm giving ya'll some tips to get through the rough patches, and hopefully make you laugh and smile a little bit too. I think we all need to be able to laugh at ourselves once in a while, and I know I definitely had fun laughing at myself in this episode.

Ya'll ever have those moments where you sit back and think to yourself, "when did I get this grown?".  I had one of those moments when I went back to listen and edit this episode. I'm throwing some serious tough love at ya'll this week. We're talking about gaining perspective, changing your perspective, appreciating perspective for what it is, but also what it isn't!

I think that if you can't sit back and do the hard work to evaluate things you need to change about yourself, or do better, you've got some serious work to do, boo. And just fyi, I'm doing the work on me too, you're not alone :)

I really hope you guys enjoy this episode, and I really hope it makes you think. As we are nearing a close on this last chapter of 2020, I hope that this serves as a basis for where you want your 2021 to go.

Keep moving, keep growing, keep prospering. I love ya'll! Talk to ya soon!!

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I literally feel like every time I take a step forward in life, someone's two steps behind me trying to put me right back at the starting line. We're talking about, you guessed it, setbacks.

With this episode, I'm trying to prove to you all and myself that life can't keep you down forever. That we're bound to reach success even if it takes us a hundred years. We're gonna be alright ya'll. Keep moving on, keep hustling, keep pushing towards greatness!

Hope you guys enjoy the episode!!

*"They told me all of my cages were mental, so I got wasted like all my potential-- And my words shoot to kill when I'm mad, I have a lot of regrets about that..."

"I was so ahead of the curve, the curve became a sphere, fell behind all my classmates and I ended up here..."

"And I just wanted you to know, that this is me trying..."*This week's episode is in part inspired by one of my favorite songs at the moment. It's called This Is Me Trying by Taylor Swift. To be honest, most of what I could say about this episode is pretty well summed up in these three quotes. I've been dealing with a lot of insecurity lately and I figured what better way to express those emotions than coming up with a podcast episode about it, so here ya go.

Go listen to This Is Me Trying along with the rest of Folklore by Taylor Swift here:

Hello hello lovely people! After a little hiatus last week we are back with another episode of the podcast! This week we're talking about being grateful! I thought this was a pretty relevant episode given the times we are in because when things look bleak and like there's no light at the end of the tunnel, that's the point where we need to refocus our attention on the good, and realize what positive things we do have going for us. I've been getting super emotional and nostalgic lately as I've been thinking about how far I've come over the last few months... I hope that if you're feeling these same feelings you come along for the ride with me and learn more about how to express these feelings of gratitude in the best ways possible!

I'm so so grateful for you all! If you ever wanna connect with me outside of the podcast, my instagram handle is @Ithinkweshouldtalkpodcast, or you can send me some good ole fashion email at ithinkweshouldtalk.podcast@gmail.com.

Hope ya'll have a fabulous week ;)

Hey ya'll! Happy Saturday! In this episode we're talking all about... what it means to be "an adult". There's a lot of big decisions that we're forced to face in life... sometimes without clear direction. Within the last few months I've had to do a lot of big kid things that even I don't know if I was ready for. I think it's really important to remember that you don't have to do all this stuff alone-- whether it's filling out your taxes, applying for health insurance, or even filling for unemployment. There are resources out there and you shouldn't feel bad if you don't know how to do something. I hope this episode helps all of you in one way or another, and I hope that you know that someone out there is rooting for you, and wants to see you succeed!!
