Shakshuka is a beloved Israeli breakfast dish made of tomato sauce, eggs, and pretty much whatever else you can find in your kitchen. We’re two guys living in Israel, and on The Shakshuka Report, we will be looking at the week’s biggest news from around the world, discussing and trying to understand it through our unique perspectives. Pretty much, our brains and the world news make one hell of an interesting shakshuka.
Well, it looks like it's protest season again. It doesn't matter where you live or what it's about, there is probably a protest near you. Oh and Seth Rogen, time to educate yourself. We are serving up some good shakshuka for your brain this week.
What a week. With everything going on in the world today, the last thing we need is more racism and prejudice. In the inaugural episode of The Shakshuka Report, we tackle recent antisemitic rhetoric by NFL player DeSean Jackson and entertainment personality Nick Cannon. From there, we go on to discussing Jewish identity, and just try to put everything in perspective. Hope you enjoy!
