This week, we tackle one of the most pivotal proclamations in church history—salvation by grace alone. In Acts 15, the early church wrestles with a critical question: Is Jesus' grace enough, or do we need to add religious requirements? As Paul and Barnabas report how Gentiles are coming to Christ, some insist on circumcision and law-keeping for salvation. But Peter reminds them—and us—that grace can't be earned, it shows no favoritism, and it demands a response of gratitude, not religious striving.
We often create our own chains of performance—rules, expectations, or spiritual checklists. But Jesus broke every one of those chains. He set us free from trying to earn God’s love. So stop striving and start living in joyful response to His grace!
Key truth: We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus alone—no additives, no exceptions, no chains.
In this powerful message, we look at Paul’s first recorded sermon in Acts 13, where he boldly proclaims that Jesus is not a backup plan—He is and always has been the central figure in God’s redemptive story. Paul connects the dots of Israel’s history to show that Jesus is:
- God’s Promise Through the Ages – Fulfilling centuries of prophecy and covenant.
- Our Victory Through His Sacrifice – Turning what looked like defeat on the cross into the ultimate triumph over sin and death.
- Our Invitation Into God’s Story – Offering forgiveness, freedom, and a new identity to anyone who believes.
This message reminds us that our lives aren’t random or aimless—we are part of a bigger narrative written by God Himself. Jesus has always been Plan A. The question is: are we living in His story, or trying to write our own?

Good morning, church family! Today, in our Sunday School Superheroes series, we explore John the Baptist—a bold, unconventional prophet who prepared the way for Jesus.
Born for This – Even before his birth, John was set apart for God’s purpose (Luke 1:13-15). Like John, we are created on purpose and for a purpose (Ephesians 2:10).
A Big Voice in a Declining Culture – John fearlessly called people to repentance (Matthew 3:2), even challenging religious leaders and King Herod. His voice pointed to truth, just as we’re called to speak boldly yet with grace (Romans 1:16).
"Get Ready!" – John’s ministry prepared hearts for Jesus. True repentance leads to real life change (Acts 3:19). Today, we too must examine our hearts and prepare for Christ’s return.
Jesus: The Ultimate Hero – John pointed to Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away sin. His mission was to decrease so Christ could increase (John 3:30).
Let’s embrace our purpose, speak truth, and point others to Jesus. If you need to surrender your life to Him today, don’t wait—He’s calling you now!
We’re continuing our Sunday School Superheroes series, where we’ve explored Moses and Daniel. Today, we dive into the life of Samson—set apart by God for a purpose, yet entangled in pride and compromise.
Samson’s story reminds us that God’s calling requires obedience. Though his choices led to destruction, his greatest moment of strength came not from his power but from his surrender to God.
No matter our past mistakes, God’s grace is still at work. Samson’s redemption foreshadows Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice—offering us the chance to turn back and walk in God’s purpose.
Good morning, church! Today, we continue our Sunday School Superheroes series with Daniel—a young man who stood firm in his faith despite intense pressure. Though he's not named in Hebrews 11, he’s among the "prophets" who stood as heroes of faith.
Daniel’s story teaches us to stand firm in faith despite trials. Hebrews 12:1-2 urges us to fix our eyes on Jesus and throw off anything that hinders us.
1. DETERMINED NOT TO DEFILE (Daniel 1:8)
Daniel chose obedience before the test came. Biblical convictions must be set in advance.
👉 Psalm 119:11: "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you."
2. AFTER EVERYTHING—STAND (Daniel 3:17-18)
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow. Faith stands firm, no matter the cost.
👉 Ephesians 6:13: "After you have done everything, to stand."
3. THERE'S A FRIEND IN THE FIRE
God was with them in the furnace. Trials refine us, but we’re never alone.
4. DEVELOP HABITS THAT MAKE HEROES
Daniel’s daily habits—prayer, faithfulness, and integrity—prepared him for the lion’s den. Spiritual disciplines create unshakable faith.
👉 Daniel 6:10: "He went home to his upstairs room… and three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed."

Stand firm, trust God, and develop habits that make heroes of faith!
