Forgiveness is essential. Do you believe God can handle the offenses you need to forgive? He can!
What is a spiritual threat? Anything that keeps us from offering our selves as living sacrifices to God. (vs. 1) Anything that conforms us to the world, keeping us from being transformed. (vs. 2) Anytime we think too highly of ourselves, forgetting we belong to one another in the church. (vss. 3-5)
The truth of the resurrection was not initially acknowledged by the disciples. Jesus had to convince them He was alive before they went to Galilee to begin their ministry.

- Publicly proclaim your allegiance to Him
- Incline you heart to the Lord
- Obey the Lord
The tribes of Israel entered their lands, some with complaining, lack of wisdom and struggles. Others wholeheartedly took possession and embraced God's promises and instruction. We need to take hold of the promised life fully.
In Genesis 49, the Levites were cursed. In Exodus 32, the Levites redeemed themselves by standing for God with Moses. In Joshua, the Levites did not receive land as their inheritance. Instead, they, like us, have God Himself as an inheritance.

Jesus is the True Vine, the Bread of Life, the Life-Giving Water and the Door of the sheepfold.
Jesus had to become fully man to defeat Satan, reverse original sin as the second Adam, live a perfect life, become our perfect, sympathetic High Priest, to be our Good Shepherd and to be our King.
