With our unstable world we live in, we can’t afford to be ignorant. The visions given to Daniel are historically correct and are still speaking to us today. What are we to believe? Put your trust in God’s message, sent through this faithful prophet. .
There are consequences for our actions and God gets the last word before this arrogant king. God is also fulfilling prophecy – for the next empire (Medo-Persians) are coming to take down Babylon.
God will bring down any man with a proud and boastful heart no matter who he is…even if he is a powerful king! Proverbs 16:5 reminds us; “The Lord detests the proud of heart. Be sure of this- they will not go unpunished.”
What is faith to you? Will you keep your faith even if it means death to you? The faithful trust God, even when the outcome is uncertain.
