We return after having the FEH Channel drop right after we released the mini last week to cover the new book and new heroes to launch it. We are also getting a new mode in a week so we go over what they told us about that and our thoughts on the story of the new book so far. Not to mention we have new OC units for Ryan to try and pronounce the names of.
Before we open up Book VIII next week, we wanted to close Book VII by catching up with the latest Mythic Heroes. We have the big bad Gullveig, as well as past/future version Kvasir. Time travel, it sure is weird... I'm sure the Heroes of Askr will be glad to park the DeLorean for a bit. Bring on Book VIII and happy summoning!
Back again to cover the new batch of heroes including one OC unit and 5 Blazing Blade units. We also cover the end of Book VII and the twists and turns that time travel brought to the story. Then we end with a short tangent to other tactics games thanks to the recently released Persona 5 Tactica.
This week we return with a quick episode covering the new Ninja banner with Radiant Dawn and Fates Heroes. We also ramble into a short tangent discussing the story for Book VII and where it is at right before it comes to a close next week.

On this SC Mini we cover the latest Legendary Hero to be added to the game: Alear from Fire Emblem Engage! Alongside this new hero, we also go over the latest Resplendent Hero, the next Version Update, and a quick look at the next Special Heroes.
Life and summer get in the way but that gives you an extra large episode as we cover not one but two FEH Channels and two banners with the tea time focused Special Heroes banner and the CYL 7 Brave Heroes. We also have an announcement about some changes we are making to our recording schedule.
As we have a bit of a bump in our schedule due to summer activities, we wanted to cover the newest Resplendent Hero and Mythic Hero to be added to the game before his summoning event concluded. We return to Book IV this month to welcome Freyr as the latest Mythic Hero in Fire Emblem Heroes.
A bit of a hefty episode this week as we delayed to get a timely covering of the new Rearmed Banner as well as the second batch of Summer Heroes. We also go over the weird schedule for the next few weeks and the new Resplendent Hero that just dropped.
A bit of a tighter episode this time around as all we have to cover is the new Legendary Hero: Guinivere. Alongside side the Queen of Bern, we do have some news on the next Version Update and Resplendent Hero, plus a teaser of the next series of Tempest Trials stories.
We had to shift our schedule just a bit, but that's resulted in us having not one, but TWO banners of heroes to go over. We kick things off with a new Resplendent Hero for FEH Pass subscribers, plus a bit of a maintenance update with Version 7.6, and the Mid-Point celebration. Moving into the banners for our episode, first up we have New Heroes & Mythic Heiðr, then move over to the first batch of Summer Heroes with Summer Longing. Before we close out the show, we visit the Outrealm Gate to discuss the soon to be launched GBA game Fire Emblem on the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass.
Wedding season is back in Fire Emblem Heroes as we go over the Awakening heroes celebrating this year. Plus we have details on the next Legendary Hero and Resplendent Hero due in the coming days. Ryan and Eddie return and are ready to celebrate the Day of Devotion with a new set of Special Heroes from Fire Emblem Fates. We also preview the next Resplendent Hero and get caught up in the details for the A Hero Rises results. Moving into the Outrealm Gate, Fire Emblem will receive more Switch love when Fire Emblem for the GameBoy Advance is added to the Nintendo Switch Online collection later this year. This week we return to discuss the new Rearmed Hero banner as well as a bunch of Fire Emblem Engage trailers from the past few weeks. We also conclude our Tokyo Mirage Sessions special discussions by covering what we have seen of the story and our thoughts on it.
This week we return to cover the most recent Mythic Hero as well as the new Special Ninja Heroes that dropped recently. We also go over the recent update version and check in on resplendent heroes as well as the smoking remnants of Twitter that are still managing to give us information for Fire Emblem Engage.
This week we have a new Ascended Hero and joining her is yet another Rearmed Hero coming from Awakening which happens to be the focus of this new banner. We also cover the recent Twitter drops for Fire Emblem Engage as well as starting our two part overview of Tokyo Mirage Session #FE.
After a hectic few weeks we return to cover Legendary Ninian and the Dragon focused Halloween, I mean Harvest, banner. There are also two Resplendent Heroes to chat about. We also briefly cover the other FE news including the orb changes and Engage tidbits. And don’t miss our usual “in depth” review of the outfits and at least some of their inspirations.
Quite a busy week as we come to you with not one but two surprise announcements in the world of Fire Emblem. We started the week off with the Fire Emblem Engage announcement, which we cover in the Outrealm Gate. But more related to this podcast, we got a surprise FEH Channel to introduce a new type of Hero, the Rearmed Hero and the first batch of Three Hopes units coming to FEH. Buckle up for a hefty episode as we cover summoning on two banners on top of everything that got announced this week.
This week we have a good bit to cover as a new Legendary Hero joins us from Genealogy of the Holy War and we have some details on the next batch of Special Heroes to honour the 4 star unit on the banner… Normally we wait to cover banners until they are in game but since we are still running on a two week schedule we figured we would cover the new banner now. Oh, and Version Update 6.9 is now available! Game Club is still in between as we need to dig into Tokyo Mirage Sessions a bit more to figure out how we will cover it, more on that soon!

This week we come back to discuss the newest Mythic unit as Askr joins the game. There hasn’t been much else as we are due a new FEH Channel soon... OH and there it is, after we finish recording. Good thing it wasn't after we wrapped editing! Enjoy a quick summary of the August 1st FEH Channel from Ryan, with full Special Heroes coverage next episode. We do pass over Three Hopes as Eddie has finished one route and dove headfirst into a second one. We also continue our Awakening Game Club in our penultimate discussion even if it is less than originally planned.
This week is a hefty episode as we have not one but two new banners to cover as we go over the Nifl Summer banner and the Ascended Celica banner. We also discuss some news about the European version of Fates and the 3DS eShop before a quick check-up on Three Hopes (spoilers, no real update other than neither of us has finished). Finally, we close out the show with Game Club and Awakening Paralogues.
This week Three Hopes shortens Game Club and FEH’s wildest dreams come true as Xander becomes a Legendary Hero. We also discuss the new update coming and a new TT series based on Eir and Book III, as well as the Chibi Playhouse that introduced it. While we do continue towards the end of Awakening, the deep dive into Three Hopes that both of us have been doing led to us only doing two chapters this week, but we do still have stuff to discuss from those chapters.
Back after Ryan covered the Book VI Midpoint banner in a mini to cover the new batch of Three Houses Summer units along with their Radiant Dawn allies. We also discuss the stealth demo for Three Hopes and do a small spoiler discussion up to the point where you choose a house. Then we round out the episode with Awakening as we get closer and closer to finishing the game.
While we did say we were moving to an every other week schedule for the summer, we will be releasing Mini’s where necessary. And this is one of those weeks! With Summer Heroes just around the corner, and the Book VI Midpoint New Heroes to discuss, we wanted to give them their due in this Mini. Plus there’s a new Resplendent Hero on the horizon! Serene's Forest also brings us a look at a Fanzine for Cyril. Finally, we close out the show with our Game Club for Fire Emblem Awakening, discussing Chapters 19 and 20, as well as Paralogues 12, 14, and 17.
Gustav returns to Fire Emblem Heroes alongside another round of Fallen Heroes. Plus Nintendo ramps up marketing for Three Hopes with a few Twitter profiles and a trailer featuring the heroes from the Lions of Faerghus. Finally, we close out the show with another round of Game Club for Fire Emblem Awakening.
Really short week as we will be waiting until the new Fallen Heroes are fully in the game (we recorded before the banner dropped) before detailing their skills, but we do spend a bit of time covering the inspirations for these new units. We also cover the next section of Awakening Game Club (up to Chapter 16).

We have a bit of a shorter episode this week because while we did get a set of Special Heroes it was so close to recording time we decided to hold off until next week. We cover the remixed Legendary Heroes and finish off Fire Emblem Warriors this week as well as the new figure coming out in the future.
We kick off our first normal episode of 2022 by catching up on the last few weeks of summoning, then move into the last few weeks of Fire Emblem Heroes! First up, Eddie and Ryan discuss their thoughts on the latest addition to FEH Pass. Then we discuss Version 6.1, which is now available. Finally, we close the show with an overview of the New Year's Special Heroes, followed by the New Heroes featuring Ascended Joshua. This sparks a bit of a Sacred Stones/Joshua conversation, and how Ascended Heroes could be handled in the future. Oh, and a Game Club update for 2022! Some exciting plans on the horizon!
While we hoped to start the new year off with a full episode, some scheduling conflicts prevented that. However, not to fret, Ryan is here to catch everyone up on what we missed on Summoner's Call over the holidays so we can hit the ground running next week with New Years' Special Heroes! In this mini we chat about the latest Resplendent Hero and FEH Pass upgrades, Legendary Female Byleth, and news on Game Club for 2022.
For the last episode of the year we cover the recent release of the new Christmas units as well as Ignatz finally making his way into FEH. We also discuss everything happening for the next two weeks in Fire Emblem Heroes since we are taking next week off. Due to the insanity of the holidays we do sadly have to postpone the penultimate segment of Fire Emblem Warriors Game Club into next year, but we are getting closer to Tokyo Mirage Sessions possibly being part of our 2022 Game Club plans.
This week we discuss the new Book VI banner as well as the next Resplendent Hero we are getting for Christmas. We discuss our thoughts on Chapter 1 of the new book and while we didn’t get more than the silhouettes for the Christmas Banner by the time we recorded, we do dip a bit into Tokyo Mirage Sessions for a tease of what may be if we raise enough through Extra Life.
Last week ended with a bang as we got the Book VI FEH Channel last night and with it a whole bunch of details on Book VI and Version Update 6.0.0 which launched shortly after the FEH Channel did. We cover everything announced in the video including a brief overview of the new heroes and new modes, and even a short glimpse at one of the weirder FEH videos of last week. We close out the show with a tease of a bonus Game Club preview in relation to our Extra Life campaign.

This week we get the new Halloween, I mean Harvest Festival, banner and FEH returns to the dragon well again. We also discuss a hopeful new hero that showed up in the TT and the latest Resplendent hero that was announced.
This week we discuss the new OC Mythic unit as well info on the next update and Resplendent Hero. We also announce what we will be doing for Game Club for the rest of the year and have a quick overview of the game and how we are planning to cover it.

We also go over the next Resplendent Hero and Version Update 5.9. Next week we will detail the new Special Heroes, but we did give a brief overview of who is on the Scions of Twelve banner. Moving over to the Outrealm Gate, we conclude our 9 month adventure with Three Houses by discussing the ending to Verdant Wind, the Claude route of the game. As for the future of Game Club, we have a Poll up and running to help us decide on a Special Discussions version of the segment for the remainder of 2021. This week we return after a hectic couple of weeks to cover the latest news, from Charlotte finally smashing her way out of the Special only prison she has been locked in since Year 1 (just don’t let any nobles know she broke out herself) to a God joining the normal pool. We also discuss the new perks for staying subbed to FEH pass (as well as Raven’s glow up) and the ending of the last Tempest Trial that is going exactly where it seemed to be going based on its title. We finish off with Game Club discussing the next chapter of Verdant Wind before veering off into speculation of if there could ever be a direct sequel to the Two Year Old Three Houses.
Wouldn't be a Fire Emblem Heroes summer without another batch of Summer Special Heroes! We discuss the original content special heroes, who are joined by Mystery of the Emblem characters. There's a new Resplendent Hero on the way, and she's taking inspiration from Book V. Closing up the FEH portion of the show, Intelligent Systems is bringing us back to Book II with the Ice & Flame story event, that includes some cute and cringy videos. We close the show in the Outrealm Gate, looking at our remaining Paralogues available in the Part 2 play through of the Claude route in Three Houses.
Byleth returns as a Legendary Hero this week and we discuss that as well as the version update. We also cover the next Chapter of Game Club before next week we slip off to do a few Paralogues. This week summer is in full swing in FEH as we get the first summer banner full of Three Houses, sadly leaving poor Ignatz all alone as the only original student not yet in FEH (though not the only one to not have a normal version). We keep the Three Houses train moving as we discuss the next chapter of Verdant Winds in Game Club, but before that we also discuss the next Resplendent Hero coming.
After a week off for life we return with quite a haul of new characters to discuss as the mid-point celebration brought an extra character with it for 6 characters to discuss. While we can’t get E3 off our minds and what it may, or may not, bring we also cover the next Resplendent Hero, the new Forging Bonds and continue Verdant Winds in Game Club.
This week we discuss the new Mythic Hero that was announced which leads to a side discussion on what may be coming and what we would like to see. Plus the newest Resplendent Hero is revealed! We also discuss Chapter 14 of Verdant Wind as the Monastery is threatened by a rear guard left nearby by Edelgard.
Wedding bells are ringing as a new special heroes banner arrives full of Binding Blade units with a Valentian guest star. We also discuss Genealogy news (only useful if you can read Japanese sadly) and start into Verdant Winds in Three Houses.
We are here this week and Edelgard has returned again to wish a belated Happy MOTHER of MERCY what happened to her. Also can someone call Morgan and Morgan, I don’t like the way Dimitri’s lance is looking at me. Aside from the new fallen heroes we also discuss the new calendar and the next resplendent hero before winding down Part 1 of Three Houses in our Golden Deer play through for Game Club.

A day's wait proves to be successful as we have summoned a FEH Channel with details of Golden Week, a Legendary Hero preview, and the next version update. Plus we have our next Resplendent Hero revealed with Leif taking on the Nifl look from Book II. Finally, we close the show with Game Club, cleaning up a few left over Paralogues before wrapping up Part I of Claude's route.
We return to the days of youth with the Childhood Encounter Special Banner and it’s complicated weapon naming structure as Sacred Stones gets the young heroes treatment. We also catch up on the next Resplendent Hero and discuss the bundle of joy that is Chapter 10 of Three Houses in Game Club.
We have a new batch of Heroes Blazing in, before we take a week off for the game being a bit slow, Pent and Louise get normal versions as well as the new update and a new currency as well. We also finish up Chapter 9 of Three Houses in Game Club and a few more Paralogues. Before all that we take a look at when Legendary and Mythic Heroes are returning and the weird thing it seems to be saying about the banners.
This week FEH is a little light but we do get an early look at the new Mythic just hours before she launched and the whole rabbit hole of if she should even be a Mythic. We also discuss the next Resplendent Hero and dive into the first half of Chapter 9 and a handful of the Paralogues we are getting through before they expire on us.
After a slow week we hop back into things to discuss the new spring banner and the return of the memes with the next resplendent hero. We also go over Chapter 8 of Three Houses Golden Deer route while discussing the finer (“you keep using that word, I do not think that means what you think it means”) points of seasonal weapons.

The FEH Channel included not just 4th Anniversary celebrations, but also included Version 5.2 details (which had some pretty cool summoning changes). Making for an extra stuffed FEH segment on the show, we also go over the latest Special Heroes celebrating the Day of Devotion, featuring all OC heroes (poor Sharena, but Henriette and Gustav are finally here). We close out the show with a visit to the Outrealm Gate to continue our Game Club with Three Houses - Claude's route where we are at Chapter 5.
Three Houses continues to be a focus on Summoner's Call with the brand new Mythic Hero, Seiros - Saint of Legend. We also preview the newly revealed Resplendent Hero, which is for Brave Ike. We close out the show with more Three Houses, this time with Chapter 4 of White Clouds for our Game Club.
We return to Plegia for the new Special Heroes banner and go over the units we touched on last week. We also continue through the Golden Deer route of Three Houses and get Ryan’s first impressions of Abyss in the main game. Choose Your Legend voting is currently running, so hopefully next week we will start to get some news related to the 4th anniversary of FEH.
Game Club returns with the Extra Life supported run through of Fire Emblem Three Houses. But before we return to Garreg Mach Monastery, we take a quick look at the upcoming Special Heroes in the Dark Desert Rituals banner. We also chat about the unfortunate passing of Brad Venable, who voiced various Fire Emblem characters.
We return after a crazy week with another new banner as well as the new resplendent hero. We gear up for Game Club next week where we will be starting Three Houses, focusing on the Verdant Wind route. We conclude 2020 with a look at the new Special Winter Heroes, hailing from both Fodlan and Tellius. After questioning the validity of using an oversized candy cane as a weapon, we move into the Outrealm Gate to discuss the penultimate chapter for Lyn's Route in Blazing Blade.

After a few slower weeks we come back with quite a bit to talk about as Book IV comes to a close with a new Binding Blade banner. We also go over the Black Friday “Celebration” and hop back into Blazing Blade for Chapter 7.

This new special banner was featured on the latest FEH Channel, that also highlighted the current Version Update and an upcoming event called Auto Chess... I MEAN Pawns of Loki. That new event starts on November 11th. We continue our Game Club fun in Blazing Blade, then provide more details on our upcoming A Very Fire Emblem Extra Life.
