Extremely tough times ahead. Supply can not keep up with demand. Prices are up across the board.
Prices push to new highs as supply shortens. Growers can't get labour to pick stock as foreign backpackers are shut out of the country. This could be the norm as the coronavirous thickens and consumers panic buy.
Prices have jumped as people go crazy. This effects all fruit and veg supply and demand. Produce is in very short supply.
Corn and zucchini are up, green caps are down. Rocket, masculine and spin price has come back quality is good. Celery still high. Cabbage up mushrooms are very short atm. Mint still an issue coriander is nice. No.2 avos are in stock hass finishing in the coming weeks. Red cap higher looking at smaller fruit to keep costs down. Pomegranates in season and in stock.
Button mushrooms rise supply is short' green oak stable size is small , carrots up, cabbage up, iceberg still high quality is good. Corn, cauliflower, and red caps remain high. Mint quality is hard to find. no.2 avos now available.
Juicing carrots N/A, masculine short, celery increases in price, cucumbers jump, carrots push as stock shortenes, beans up but quality is great. In season pomegranates. Size is small it will increase when we get into the season.
Alot of rain down south effecting most lines this week. Expect prices to rise and quality will be hard to find with product shortages across the board.
Prices up for, red caps,blueberry, carrots, celery, snowpeas. Mesc is up and in short supply. Spinach and rocket coming back as supply returns.
Peeled garlic up thanks to the coroanvirus , red caps sore as good stock is scarce. Wombok smaller, green oak in short supply, brocc jumps, zucc s and corn up, cauliflower stable and good, cos short and strawberry, rocket, spin and mesc back to good quality again!
