In this week’s episode of Loving Wellness, I am joined by quantum biology expert Carrie Bennett. As a college athlete, supposedly at the pinnacle of health, Carrie began suffering chronic joint issues and insomnia. Now, as an online educator, clinician, and faculty member of the Quantum Biology Collective, Carrie's mission is to teach her clients how to create a healing environment by applying quantum health strategies around light, water, electrons, and mitochondrial support. Given these tools, clients who have spent years trying to improve their health—just as Carrie did—finally experience powerful healing and lasting benefits.

In this week’s episode of Loving Wellness, I am joined by Hannah Minardi and Austin Wiberg, the co-founders of Standard Self Care- the leading clean, cosmeceutical skincare line designed to help you streamline and upgrade your daily ritual with clean, bioactive products that actually work.

At the age of 19 - and as a college dropout - Hannah founded With Seven, a socially conscious consulting firm uniting companies like Nike, Target, Revolve, and Hot Pilates with the social causes that matter most to today’s generation of conscious consumers. She drew on this extensive consulting experience when she partnered with her longtime friend and business partner, Austin Wiberg, who developed his entrepreneurial acumen at top lifestyle eCommerce brands such as Suja Juice and Talentless. Integrating their expertise across industries and looking to optimize every facet of their daily routine, Hannah and Austin joined forces to formulate Standard Self Care, a streamlined personal care line that focuses on product efficacy & ingredient transparency above all else.

There’s no shortage of ‘clean’ beauty brands infiltrating your Explore Page, but if your products don’t create lasting results in your skin, you’ll return to your tried-and-true routine. That’s why Hannah and Austin created Standard Self Care: a concentrated line of 3 cosmeceutical products that were designed with the highest standards to optimize your self-care practice and upgrade your quality of life.

In the episode, we cover:

  • Hannah’s life-altering experience with stress-induced autoimmunity & how this fueled her passion for better-for-you products
  • The importance of looking at more than just diet & exercise for true wellness
  • Why being “stricter” with your wellness practices isn’t always better
  • The many entrepreneurial experiences that have helped Hannah and Austin start their own companies
  • The pros and cons of going to college (& why Hannah dropped out of school to start her career early)

This week’s solo episode of Loving Wellness kicks off the first part of my three-part Wellness Foundations mini series. With the start of the spring season, I thought it would be the perfect time to go back to the basics and share what I believe to be the foundations of true wellness in mind, body, and spirit. Whether you're already on a healing journey or ready to embark on one, this series is the perfect place to start (or to return to) to support you on your path to radiant health.

In today's episode, we are covering all things MINDSET when it comes to healing. I truly believe that having a positive, loving mindset is crucial to actually feeling better & seeing positive shifts in our health. We can be doing everything "right" physically, but at the end of the day, we also need to have a healing mindset in place for true healing to occur. That's why in this ep, I'm covering some of the most important mindset shifts that I find to be integral to a successful healing journey, based both on my own journey and my work with clients. Make sure to stay tuned for part 2 and as always, thank you for listening!

Introducing...the Loving Wellness Podcast! The evolution of the podcast is finally here, and I could not be more excited to share this with you.

Loving Wellness™ is my wellness philosophy & method that advocates for a radical change in how we perceive health. It calls for a shift from rigid, perfection-based approaches to a more compassionate, self-loving perspective. This holistic approach blends science with intuition & intention to help you thrivebeyond your limits into your healthiest, most aligned self.

This new era of the podcast will be focused on just that- approaching every aspect of well-being through a loving lens. So whether you’re interested in optimizing your nutrition, deepening your self-love, building healthy relationships, healing from chronic symptoms, shifting to a more positive mindset, growing spiritually, or really anything in between, I hope Loving Wellness can provide the support you’re looking for.

In this first episode of the Loving Wellness Podcast, I dive into why I decided to do this rebrand in the first place, where this next chapter of the pod is going, and what you can expect from the show. I also decided to do something a little different to celebrate this new era: in this ep, I’m sharing a special interview I did on my dear friend Carolina Salazar’s podcast, Inner Growth. In the interview, I share openly about my own inner growth journey and my story and background with my health, wellness, and life in general. I also do a deeper dive on Loving Wellness and how to practice it, so I thought this would be the perfect episode to kick off the rebrand so you can get to know me and my approach a bit better!

I am so excited for this new chapter- you can continue to expect new episodes of the show every Wednesday! Make sure to subscribe to be notified of new episodes, and as always, thank you for listening!

Before you say anything about this cheesy title, let's make it clear that we are referring to Erich Fromm's book "The Art of Loving." This week, we use Fromm's book as a focal point in a conversation about the meaning of love and how we define love in our own lives, particularly in the context of relationships with significant others and friends. Of course, we have love for our listeners, too. Weigh in on the topic in our DM's! We'd love to hear from you.
