This week we are joined by Brian Tompkins, Nick Rumney and Nicola Gatehouse where we discuss how Covid 19 will affect the optical profession going forward and the possible changes in culture and education needed for the industry to thrive. Brian, Nick and Nicola have a wealth of experience from running highly successful independent practices so it was great to be able to draw on their considerable knowledge to understand what we do when we come out of lockdown.
This week we had the founder of the Vision Care For Homeless People charity Elaine Styles telling us how she set up the charity, the challenges homeless people face accessing primary health care and what practices can do to help those in need. Elaine is a really inspirational member of the optical community and the charity has transformed the lives of many homeless people.
