For though there have been periods and areas of our country that have engaged in racists acts, as a whole, our country has never tolerated racism and has always challenged it from its inception, based on the Biblical ideal and position that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator, GOD, with certain inalienable rights. This is an American ideal based on Bible doctrine and that is why it's important we preserve and pay homage to this country for no other country in history was founded and prospered on this premise. There are vestiges of racism in our country that must be addressed, but we must realize that racism is a human condition, a condition of the heart. To eradicate racism, we must change the hearts of men and only Christ can do that! So as we continue our struggle against racism and all evil, we must learn to yield to Christ who alone can take a hate-filled, racist heart and convert it to one of His unconditional love regardless of a person's race, ethnicity, religion, or creed!
