Hey, all good things come to an end, right? I like to think of the end of something as the first step in the beginning of a new thing.
The Imperfectionist's Monthly Pocast has been an amazing audio journey for me. I entered this arena with very rudimentary audio engineering/editing skills and feel pretty empowered to take it to the next level now!!
With this window opening, it gives me air to breathe and open the exchange up to new ideas, both musically and podcasterly,

This month we publish a day early to recognize Canada's first ever "Day of Truth and Reconciliation". Sept 30th 2021 is a day meant to be spent reflecting on Canada's Past settler relations with respect to the Indigenous People's of Canada. We put colonialism and settlerism under a microscope today, and with the help of 3 First Nations voices we ponder what it means to honour and Reconcile.

The Imperfectionist dives straight into an Imperfect Dilemma in Episode 2 of The Imperfectionist Podcast; Contiguous or Non Contiguous?
This episode is 5 minutes of dialogue followed by a feature of the 1 hr long album "Lullabies For Big Eyes" by The Kerplunks, remixed to be sightly more contiguous than the commercially released version. "Lullabies For Big Eyes" is the first full-length album Dinah D produced solo and it presented a dilemma. Nothing is actually PERFECT, so why are we striving for this so-called perfection? Why is perfection something we value as a culture? Maybe we could look at the world from anther perspective, one which accepts and works with the inherent imperfection everywhere around us....
