This week Sean Woodley and Amy Audibert come together after some much deserved rest for Amy last week to put a capper on the CEBL's third season. They chat about the Edmonton Stingers and whether their dominance is a good or bad thing for the health of the league, the celebration that was championship weekend in Edmonton, and their big takeaways from the 2021 campaign. This week Sean Woodley is joined by Jason Thom to recap CEBL Quarterfinal Weekend before chatting about the momentous addition of the Scarborough Shooting Stars as the league's eighth franchise and the CEBL's award winners before teeing the semifinal matchups between Niagara and Fraser Valley, and Edmonton and Ottawa.
The playoffs are here! Sean Woodley and Amy Audibert spend this week's show previewing the two quarterfinal matchups on tap for Saturday and Sunday in the CEBL. First, they talk about the key battlegrounds as Hamilton hosts Ottawa. Can Nick Ward navigate double-teams successfully? Can Lindell Wigginton's supporting cast knock down shots? Then they turn their attention out west as the Frasey Valley Bandits gets set to host the Guelph Nighthawks on Sunday. They discuss the two teams' very different regular season scripts, and compare the Bandits' balanced attack with the Nighthawks' import-led perimeter group that certainly has the star power to pull off an upset.
This week Sean Woodley and Amy Audibert team up without a guest to whip around every team in the CEBL and take stock of the league ahead of the final push towards the playoffs. They kick things off with a chat about the return of fans in every arena across the league, and why that raises the stakes for the teams vying to host a quarter-final match-up on their home court. Then they run through each team in the league and where they stand with just a couple weeks to go. Can Guelph pull themselves out of the mud or can the Rattlers make the race for the 6-seed interesting? Is Ottawa finally ready to put together a run? Who will take the 2-seed and the bye to the semis between Niagara, Hamilton and Fraser Valley? And who would you pick to win it all -- Edmonton, or the field?
This week, Sean Woodley and Amy Audibert are joined by CEBL broadcaster Jason Thom to talk about the first couple weeks of CEBL action before diving into the three teams Jason calls games for in Southern Ontario -- Hamilton, Guelph and Niagara -- and the very different starts for each of those teams. Plus, an unplanned discussion of Canada's men's basketball team's let down in the Olympic Qualifying Tournament!

This week Sean Woodley and Amy Audibert open up on a celebratory note as they dig into the CEBL getting government approval to play this season in-market starting June 24th! Next, they discuss the 2019 CEBL Finals MVP Alex Campbell signing on with Fraser Valley along with fellow 2019 champ Shaquille Keith, and the Honey Badgers' signing of former 5-star recruit Trevon Duval. Then in the interview portion of the show, defending CEBL champ and new Saskatchewan Rattler Travis Daniels joins the show to talk about his move from the Stingers to the Rattlers, the league's growth over the last three years, Greek food and so much more.
This week we're going heavy on Niagara! Sean and Amy open up the show with a chat about the recently announced Our Game documentary set to air on CBC on Saturday at 1pm before reacting to the River Lions signing Phil Scrubb for the 2021 season. Then, they're joined by Niagara head coach and GM Vic Raso to chat about his season preparations, the infusion of talent his roster has seen in the last few months, the success of Trae Bell-Haynes both at home and abroad, and the arrival of Dave Smart down in St. Catherine's.
This week Sean Woodley and Amy Audibert remark upon the signings of Marlon Johnson in Edmonton and Mamadou Gueye in Guelph before chatting with Hamilton Honey Badgers head coach Ryan Schmidt. This week, Sean Woodley is joined by Dr. Nick Elam, originator of the Elam Ending format for ending basketball games -- a format which as been adopted by the CEBL for this month's Summer Series tournament in St. Catherine's. Sean chats with Nick about why the Elam Ending is a superior way to conclude a game, which typical late-game annoyances it helps eradicate, how it alters the complexion of closing time to turn out a more compelling product, and the extremely exciting finish it produced in the final of The Basketball Tournament this week. They also chat about how the Elam Ending affects coaches, and take a look at what leagues may be next to adopt some version of it.
This week Sean Woodley is joined by former Canadian national team player Jevohn Shepherd to discuss the CEBL's long-awaited return in the form of the CEBL Summer Series, set to go down in St. Catherine's from July 25th to August 9th at Meridian Centre.
