It’s been awhile.
I felt like venting so I vented to myself and ended up with this. A story about how I went from being a sweet, sensitive 10 year old child to a terrifying clonster who shut myself away like the Clantom of the Clopera. I became terrified of real, genuine human connection...of opening my mouth and the possibility that something "stupid" or "wrong" would exit it. Gee, wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that teachers treated me like I was an idiot, a loser, a microphone abuser...I clanalyzed every second I existed, beatin' up my mind every second with my fist...ed..s?

This is the story of the worst teacher(s) I ever had and how most teachers and school systems are not equipped to deal with students who learn in more..."unconventional ways" aka kids with ADHD, autism, or any other issue that would otherwise classify us as “problem children”. Well I’ve realized as a cladult that the problem was never me. The problem was you, BJ (and all closed minded people like you who probably should have educated themselves first before deciding to become educators).
