Sweetie Pie is a songwriter currently based in Atlanta, GA. He has toured the country and performed as part of several projects including The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers, Daniel Ahearn, Aveline, The Pale Spiritual and Marcus Very Ordinary.
Jonathan Peyton, a singer/songwriter from Woodstock, Georgia, writes emotion-evoking songs that tell a story and captivate audiences by their relatability and honesty. Jonathan says that “Writing music has become a way of processing through life and relating to others and their stories.”
Jonathan released his first full length album, Waters Below, in March of 2016. The release of his EP, Where Do We Stand, followed not long after in 2018 and has released two singles since. Peyton has won several music competitions including the Undiscovered Artist Series at Madlife Stage and Studios in Woodstock, Georgia, as well as the annual Open Mic Shoot Out at the Red Clay Music Foundry in Duluth Georgia, hosted by the legendary Eddie Owen. He has opened for acts such as Ben and Noel Haggard, Mac Powell and the family reunion, Mark Wills, and more.

Described as heartfelt acoustic indie/folk/roots, my arsenal of original acoustic tunes comes from places of both immense sadness and incredible joy. Currently, I play as many open mics, bar shows, and songwriting competitions in Atlanta as humanly possible (pre-COVID), but I believe that music, especially acoustic folk, has the ability to tell stories like no other medium.
If Garrett Wheeler’s first 2017 singles were a prologue, then his 2020 self-titled record, Garrett Wheeler, establishes a strong opening chapter for the upcoming artist.
Garrett Wheeler, 18, is a singer songwriter from Kennesaw, Georgia. He released his debut single “This Road I'm On“ in 2017, which established his footing in roots music. His new Self-Titled album explores a more diverse soundscape, taking more influence from barebones rock & roll and songwriters such as Ryan Adams than the folky sounds of his earlier singles. Even with a rougher sound, it is obvious he is still striving to showcase the lyrics of the songs and the stories they tell.
The Self-Titled release is Wheeler’s first full album. The record is hard to pin down as one genre; It’s a bit too twangy for rock, but a bit too punk for country. This doesn’t stop the album from having a cohesive feel with the energy of a live wire.
The album was recorded and produced by Donny Hammonds at the Afterdark Studios in Cartersville, Ga. Local songwriter Jayna Jennings and banjo-picker Preston Smith (of the Chip McGuire Band) are also featured on the record.
“[Garrett Wheeler’s] songwriting breathes new life into outlaw country without taking away the bassy vocals and astute lyricism that makes the genre so influential on American country music,” said Kelley Bostain, creator of the Off-Trail Originals video series.
Roger Brainard An Indie American musician with roots in Appalachian and Southern cultures. Brainard's career has taken him from studio guitarist/producer to collaborations and performances with artists worldwide including Angie Aparo, Caroline Aiken, Ivory Coast's Alpha Blondy band, Liberia's MEDUSA, ELEPHANT's GERALD and Theabis Debris.
My radio career began during my junior year of college, working part time for KFRG-FM. I was burning the midnight oil as an overnight Board OP as well as juggling voicetracking, producing commercial spots and working in the promotions department as part of the street team.
After graduating with a BA in Mass Communications from California State University in 2015, I was brought on full-time wearing plenty of different hats. I've worked on-air as the weekend talent, to afternoon drive, to the morning show. I've worked in the digital department writing nationally syndicated content, to producing and editing station videos, to handling social media accounts that have 90,000+ followers combined.
I've hosted sporting events, including working as the In-Game Host of the indoor soccer team Ontario Fury and concerts, including Coastal Country Jam in Huntington Beach that had 10,000+ attendees. I've also been fortunate enough to speak to multiple college campuses, reflecting on my career path and giving advice to students as they get ready to transition into the working world.
I was the most recent recipient of the Rusty Walker Scholarship in February of 2020, where thee full-time radio employees are chosen to experience an all expenses paid trip to attend Country Radio Seminar in Nashville. I was also a nominee for Country Aircheck's Major Market Personality of the Year and became a member of the Country Music Association in 2020.
Solo artist. Frontman. Behind-the-scenes songwriter. For more than a decade, Adam Hood has left his mark both onstage and in the writing room, carving out a southern sound that mixes equal parts country, soul and American roots music.
It's a sound that began shape in Opelika, Alabama. Raised by working-class parents, Hood started playing hometown shows as a 16 year-old, landing a weekly residency at a local restaurant. He'd perform there every Friday and Saturday night, filling his set list with songs by John Hiatt, Hank Williams Jr, and Vince Gill. As the years progressed, the gigs continued — not only in his home state, but across the entire country. Eventually even landing himself a three-year nationwide tour opening for Leon Russell.
These days, though, Hood is no longer just putting his own stamp on the songs of chart-topping country stars. Instead, many of those acts -- including Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Anderson East, Josh Abbott Band, Lee Ann Womack & Brent Cobb -- are playing his songs.
In 2016, Hood signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Nashville and GRAMMY Award-winning producer Dave Cobb’s Low Country Sound. All while remaining adamantly focused on his own career, playing around 100 shows annually promoting third solo release, Welcome to the Big World, and now his newest release, Somewhere in Between.
A showcase for both his frontman abilities and songwriting chops, Somewhere in Between shines a light on Hood's strength as a live performer. He recorded most of the album live at Nashville's Sound Emporium Studios over two quick days. Teaming up with friend and producer Oran Thornton (Miranda Lambert's Revolution, Angaleena Presley's Wrangled) their goal was to create something that reflected the raw, real sound of his concerts, where overdubs and unlimited takes are never an option. The result is a record that reflects Hood's working-class roots, mixing the upbeat thrill of his roadhouse roots-rock songs with the contemplative, stripped-down sway of his country ballads.
Joining him in the studio were guitarist Pat McLaughlin, bassist Lex Price, and drummer Jerry Roe. All of whom captured their parts in just a handful of live takes while Hood simultaneously tracked his vocals. Stripped free of studio trickery and lushly layered arrangements, Somewhere in Between is an honest, story-driven record. One that’s both relatable and deeply autobiographical, with Hood writing or co-writing ten of the record’s eleven tracks, alongside friends like McLaughlin, Brent Cobb -- who also appears on the electrified "She Don't Love Me" -- Josh Abbott, Jason Eady, and plenty of others.
Somewhere in Between is an album that finally finds Hood telling his own story. A dedicated family man, he wrote "Locomotive" — a heartland anthem, full of Telecaster twang and sunny swagger — after watching his young daughter develop her motor skills while playing with a set of blocks. Balancing his life as a relentless road-warrior, Hood penned highway ballad "Downturn" about a life filled with wanderlust and long drives from gig to gig.
As a blue-collar songwriter, Hood shines a light on everyday experiences — from family and friends to the thrill of Friday nights. Partly because he’s stuck to his roots. The native Alabaman still lives in the Yellowhammer State and celebrates America's rural pockets with songs like "Keeping Me Here" and "Real Small Town," two songs filled with images of main streets, open landscapes, hard times, and good people.
"It's southern music," he says, grouping Somewhere in Between’s wide range of music under an appropriate banner. "That's what it represents: the soulful side of southern music, the country side of southern music, the genuineness of southern culture, and the way I grew up. One of the t-shirts I sell at every show simply says ‘Southern Songs,’ and It's a good summary of what I do. It's what I've always done."
Spann began his broadcast career in Tuscaloosa in 1973 at WTBC radio.[3] There, in high school, he worked the night shift, while former ABC 33/40 anchor Dave Baird worked mornings. Spann volunteered many hours following the 1974 Alabama tornadoes in Jasper. He began his television career in the summer of 1978 at 33/40 predecessor WCFT in Tuscaloosa, the "33" in 33/40. In fall 1978, Spann moved to WSFA in Montgomery as weekend sports anchor and part-time weatherman. After spending the summer of 1979 as afternoon-drive announcer at Top 40 station WHHY-FM ("Y102") in Montgomery, he was hired at WAPI-TV in Birmingham as chief weatherman, despite having no formal weather education. At the age of 23, he was one of the youngest chief weathermen in the country.
Channel 13 was sold to Times Mirror in 1980 and renamed WVTM-TV, and Spann impressed his new bosses enough that they moved him to sister station KDFW in Dallas in 1984. In 1985, he was named the best weathercaster in the Metroplex by the Dallas Press Club, defeating such competition as KXAS-TV's Harold Taft and WFAA-TV's Troy Dungan. After only two years, he returned to Alabama as part owner of a small AM-FM radio station combo in Demopolis with Dave Baird. He returned to television in October 1989 as chief weatherman at Birmingham's WBRC-TV. At the same time, he enrolled in Mississippi State University's meteorology program, earning the NWA and AMS seals of approval upon his graduation.
Spann left WBRC in 1996 in a move that made local headlines. WBRC had just been purchased by News Corporation and was dropping its longtime affiliation with ABC in favor of Fox. Spann, a devout Southern Baptist, was unhappy with Fox's then-steady diet of reality shows and other programming. Spann followed several of his former WBRC colleagues to the newly formed ABC 33/40, which had merged WCFT with WJSU-TV in Anniston and a new low-power repeater in Birmingham, and had replaced WBRC as Birmingham's ABC affiliate. He has been at ABC 33/40 ever since.
Spann is the founder of The Weather Factory (formerly The Weather Company) which provides broadcast weather forecasts for a number of radio stations and weather data for industrial and business clients. Spann was the 33rd person in America to receive the AMS distinction as a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist. Spann remained on television for ten hours during a tornado warning for western Jefferson County on April 8, 1998. An F5 tornado struck Oak Grove High School before 8:00 that evening. The next day, Spann spoke from a helicopter about the warning and the high school's damage.
Beginning in 2007, Spann could be heard by listeners of the Rick and Bubba Show, a popular syndicated radio show based in Birmingham but heard across the country, mainly in the Southeast. Spann's tenure began when the show switched flagship stations in Birmingham to WZZK-FM, where Spann's forecasts had been heard for some time beforehand. He is also the chairman and one of the founders of AllWorship.com, a non-profit organization webcasting three streaming radio stations which feature worship music in English and Spanish. The organization grew out of WRRS/Reality Radio, a commercial FM radio station that broadcast Contemporary Christian music in the Birmingham market from 2000 to 2001.
In 2004, Spann hosted a television special about severe weather safety. He interviewed Goshen United Methodist Church's F4 tornado survivors of March 27, 1994 including the former pastor, Kelly Clem and her husband, Dale. Later, he spoke about the tragedy and safety instructions to Brian E. Peters, Warning Coordination Meteorologist from the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Calera's Shelby County Airport. He is also the host of WeatherBrains, a weekly weather podcast and board chairman of the Children's Hospital of Alabama.
Formerly a longtime member of Hunter Street Baptist Church, Spann is the children's Sunday School teacher at Double Oak Community Church outside Birmingham.

Hi guys and girls, welcome to the Archies Flip Flops website!
My name is Daniel Jones and I was a Private Practice Physiotherapist from Melbourne, Australia and I am the person who has designed Archies Arch Support Flip Flops.
While working as a physio, I found myself continually warning my patients who required support to stop wearing typical flat flip flops. Despite my best attempts to advise my patients to wear more supportive footwear, this would almost always be ignored, as flip flops are simply a way of life in the Australian summer!
The realization soon set in that at the time there were no orthotic flip flops on the market that adequately catered for the younger demographic who care about their health and fitness, and none that I would personally wear myself! Furthermore, the price point of many of the available options was somewhat greater than what my patients would expect to pay for a typical flip flop.
After realizing there was a gap in the market, at 26 years of age, I set out to create a flip flop that not only offered orthotic support but one that myself and my mates would happily wear. It was my goal to create an orthotic flip flop that any health and fitness conscious individual could happily wear to and from training, after a game of sport, down the street, to the beach or just socializing with friends.
I also attempted to eliminate many of the other design flaws of 'regular flip flops' such as them often having a loose strap, having no heel elevation and having straps that are made from hard plastic which commonly causes irritation and often breaks at the toe pole. I started my initial prototypes in my Nan and Pop's shed and after five years of extensive testing, research and development (aka, trial and error!) with input from some of Australia's leading podiatrists and physiotherapists, Archies Arch Support Flip Flops were born!
To get the business off the ground we originally ‘slugged it out’ selling at local markets firstly in our home town in country, Echuca / Moama and then when the cooler weather hit, I quit my job as a Physio, filled my car to the roof with flip flops (they were literally falling on top of me while I was driving) and chased the sun all the way up to Noosa QLD and then to Airlie Beach QLD. It was all go-go-go and a stressful fight for survival on a weekly basis just to pay our bills/debt, however, we managed to scrape through (just!) as we eventually took on more and more retailers!

Who Is Amanda Roark? At 22, Amanda is working hard to dominate the Atlanta music scene. In only a few months, she has claimed her spot among what the Cherokee Tribune News describes as: “Cherokee’s County’s best local artists.” Amanda uses a fusion of Rhythm and Soul in her own music and her style ranges from artists such as Allen Stone and Amy Winehouse, to Queen and Stevie Nicks. His influences range from Johnny Cash and Bruce Springsteen to Otis Redding and Tommy Emmanuel. After leaving home for a decade of rambling and toiling at odd jobs, Bostick blew into California and decided to try his hand busking on the Santa Monica Pier. To the great surprise of the former ranch hand and roofer, Bostick found that he could make a living playing music. Ben saved his busking money and used it to record his debut EP, My Country, in 2016. No Depression says, “he comes on like an unholy alliance of George Jones and Merle Haggard.” My Country was nominated for an Independent Music Award in the Roots/Country category. His self-titled debut album (2017) takes on a more progressive country tone, recalling such artists as Jason Isbell and Sturgill Simpson, and showcases his versatility as a songwriter. “This eponymous album is so well written that it is to look into the heart of the divine, a true great,” says Liverpool Sound & Vision. Hellfire (2018), Bostick’s sophomore release, is a collection of high energy songs written during his band’s yearlong weekly residency at The Escondite in downtown Los Angeles. It was during this residency that Bostick solidified the lineup in his band and set out to write material to suit the players and the venue. Lonesome Highway says, "Bostick has a wicked & wry sense of looking at things and amidst a gumbo of Country, Rockabilly, Blues and Rock we are treated to plenty of drinkin’, hard partying on Saturday nights, lustful love flings, poor boy messes and just downright bitter and mean men - loners set to do you harm." September 2019 brought Bostick and his family to Atlanta, GA. Back in the beautiful southeast, he plans to keep making music and playing 200+ shows a year. Thomas Hinds is a singer/songwriter out of the four corners area of New Mexico. He has been playing and writing since high school and life has given him the opportunity to get out and support his new album "Resurrection Road". "Resurrection Road" is his third independant release, recorded at Kitchen Sink Studios in Santa Fe, New Mexico with Jono Manson behind the board. This release is a step forward in letting the songs speak for themselves, a stripped down collection of thirteen tracks that show you the bones that inspired the stories found on this record. Thomas will be on the road most of 2019. He has a catalog of originals that reflect a life filled with love, loss, and the phases of heartache. Hinds' first release "Ghosts and Lamentations" was released in 2015, then in late 2017 he released an EP titled "Barbwire Bouquet" with two songs recorded with Jono on that release, "Keep On" and a reworked "Favorite Hello" that was originally on "Ghosts and Lamentations", who according to Jeffrey Foucault, "showed a lot of growth in the songwriting". A woman inspired by the dreamy and textural qualities of Shoegaze and Psychedelic Rock. Now mash that up with the Blues, Country, R&B, Soul, and Gospel. Here you will find Atlanta-based musician, Lianne Hutcheson.She has been carving out her ambient blues folk rock sound with shimmering and lonely guitar riffs combined with soaring and sometimes gritty jazz vocals. She crafts lyrics that will span topics from friendship, self-reflection, infertility, caregiving & death. She has even been known to the write the occasional love song. In 2018, Lianne and one of her musical collaborations, Chattahoochee Golden Child were acknowledged by NPR’s Tiny Desk contest and featured on their Tiny Desk Music Blog for their contest entry for her song, “Yeah Right”. Material for Lianne’s music has never been hard to come by, she has a story like we all do. And after spending a good chunk of her life experiencing difficult and sometimes abusive relationships, being a caregiver to her father with early on-set dementia, losing her best friend to suicide and a plethora of other sad stories, Lianne always came back around to expressing and processing her life through her songs. After her Dad passed in 2010, she enrolled in a therapeutic music training course and started her own early childhood music education business and gently eased herself back into creating music and released a few singles in 2015 and 2016 including one children’s song. Lianne can be found playing out every few weeks around Atlanta solo and with her friends in the rock band Chattahoochee Golden Child as the lead singer and rhythm guitar player. She also gets her chorus-nerd/girl-group on by singing harmonies and playing guitar with the Georgia Succulents comprised of local musicians Katie Martin and Jeannie Caryn. Currently working in the studio with local Atlanta producer/musician Christopher Turpin, Lianne is working to complete and release her solo EP soon.

For Lindsey and Seth, aka The Bluebird Two, music is the very foundation of their personal love story. He now resides in Atlanta, Georgia where he continues to perform, record, and educate. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Guitar from Florida State University and a vocational degree from Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California. Mark's sound is a reflection of his southern roots and his classical and jazz studies. As the song states, I wrote this sitting at home alone on a beautiful Saturday in May 2018. I’ve written plenty of songs in my life about having my heart broken but had never written one about the many hearts that I’d broken. This song came from the weight of responsibility and feeling of fierce regret that I felt after ending a relationship with an incredible girl that lived down on Piedmont Park in Atlanta. Each specific location mentioned in this song stems from memories I shared with her. Although I wish that I had made a different decision, I’m glad that I was able to put pen to paper and write this song. Cody Bolden is a singer-songwriter based in Canton, Georgia. He was raised between Alabama and Georgia, traveling between homes. Music seems to be in the background of all of Cody’s memories, from his Mom singing folk songs while cooking breakfast in the morning to his Dad’s radio always being on and dialed to an Outlaw Country station. Although music was continuously present, Cody only recently decided to pick-up a guitar and start making music of his own. Two years into his musical journey, Cody enjoys writing and performing songs about things that are important to him, allowing his parents’ musical preferences to influence his sound.
My name is Debra Lynn Rodriguez and I am a singer, a storyteller, and a worship leader. I am tattooed, often barefoot, and was raised singing in the hills of Appalachia. As a singer, I draw from a deep well of musical tradition. My earliest memories are of singing at my mama’s piano, tambourine in hand. I am heavily influenced by gospel, country, and bluegrass music. It’s those roots along with my personal experiences and life within my community which most inspire my songwriting. As a worship leader, I believe deeply that worship is about more than a routine visit to temple or synagogue or church, but is a lifestyle which employs and influences every aspect of our human experience. I intentionally engage diverse communities to explore how faith and worship intersect everyday life. I love to witness as people discover faith and spirituality through authentic and personal experiences and I work to help facilitate the opportunity for those discoveries. Since 2011, I've served as Pastor of Worship and Director of Arts at The Gathering Place Atlanta (lgbtchurch.com) and you can find me leading worship in all kinds of places - people's homes, on a sidewalk, in the woods, even live on Facebook! Making music and making friends, I want to connect with folks inside and outside the Church to consider and re-envision our ideas and approaches to worship and community, embarking on a journey together to learn and teach the art of living worship. I released my first full-length album of original music in 2015 and am currently cozying up to a batch of folk/soul tunes, gearing up for a new recording project- yippee!
