Join Dr. Todd Wood, president of Core Academy of Science, and Paul Garner, speaker for Biblical Creation Trust, as they discuss issues of faith, science, origins, evolution, creationism, and biblical studies.
Hans Madueme is back for round two as Paul and Todd continue their conversation over his book Defending Sin. In this episode, they get down to really deep issues as they wrestle with the actual relationship of science and faith. How do believers go about reconciling what they see in science and in Scripture? Is there a right way? What do our anxieties have to do with this? Struggling through these issues lead the guys to chat about being creationistsin a pluralistic church, where different people believe different things. If our most important goal is following Jesus, what does that look like when our personal beliefs are so very different from someone else's? We hope you enjoy the conversation as Todd and Paul wrap up their interview with Hans Madueme in this episode!

Centuries ago, Augustine of Hippo said it was "disgraceful and dangerous" for a nonbeliever to hear Christians spouting nonsense about science. Today, as young age creationists work to promote their views, many Christians think we're nothing but an embarrassment to the cause of Christ and a stumbling block to the gospel. In this episode, Paul and Todd chat with Stephen Lloyd of Biblical Creation Trust as they push back on this negative stereotype. Stephen thinks young-age creationist beliefs can actually be an advantage in witnessing. Listen to this latest episode to find out how!
Dr. Monte Fleming continues the journey we started in our last episode exploring our rapidly eroding continents. Last time, we talked at length about the oceans eroding the shoreline, and this time, it's storms and rivers chipping away at the continents' interiors. How long do we have until there are no continents left? Can the earth really be billions of years old? Or is it a young world after all? Find out as Todd and Paul talk to Monte Fleming on this episode of Let's Talk Creation!
"Solid" ground under our feet is gradually slipping away as the oceans of the world relentlessly erode the coastlines. It might surprise you to discover just how fast that's happening! In this episode, special guest Monte Fleming explains the evidence of coastal erosion that indicates the continents couldn't be much more than a few million years old, just a tiny fraction of the billions of years they're supposed to be according to conventional radiometric dating. Join Todd and Paul for this fascinating chat as they explore the true age of the continents!Show notes: https://letstalkcreation.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/LTC_Episode87_ShowNotes.pdf
Are young age creationists just hung up on Genesis 1 or is there more to this story? Paul and Todd tackle this vital question by looking through the rest of the Bible to figure out if young age creationism is just an error inflated from one passage or if recent creation is the counsel of the entire scripture. In a hypothetical Bible missing Genesis 1, would Paul and Todd still be young age creationists? Tune in to find out!
