I, Christina Jo Callander, live with my husband, 2 children, our cat and our daughter's bunny, in Ontario Canada. Around 2007, I decided I wanted a lifestyle that included flexibility, adaptability, and variety. I have held that vision, and, since Brad, my husband, and I agreed when we met, to do things on a strictly just for fun basis, we have, since then, on top of growing our family, jumped off several entrepreneurial cliffs together, including starting a process serving business, becoming real estate investors, and establishing an e-commerce business selling on Amazon. Back before the internet was a thing – yes back that far, I was starting businesses.
Looking back, I realize that I have this propensity for LEAPING, for seeing a vision and then getting into action to make it happen even though I don’t really know how to do it – yet.
My story
My friends and family called me crazy.
Are you like me?
Crazy because you have this dream of what your business could look like in the future …. So you just begin to take action?
While my children were young, I told my friends I was going to work from home on my computer providing support services to professionals and earn really good money!
They said I was crazy.
I bought a computer, printer, and software and in 1984 my ‘typing business’ was born (today they would call this a virtual assistant – not so crazy!).
Several years later, and several moves to different provinces, I was being called crazy again. This time, my husband and I bought a small retail building and I opened a retail store!!
I knew without a doubt that I could make this profitable even though I knew nothing about inventory management, hiring employees, profit and loss statements – never mind how to purchase products!
That endeavor was probably my biggest CRAZY but also my most profitable! Twelve years later, we sold the building and liquidated the inventory for a huge cash payout.
This crazy lady was laughing all the way to the bank.
And then my last couple of ‘crazy’ ideas were to start a coaching business and to write a book when I didn’t even know what a successful coaching business looked like or how to write my Amazon best-seller.
**NOW when people call me ‘crazy’, I know I’m on the right track!

Jessie is an entrepreneur, professional writer, photographer, pianist, and activist. She has over ten years of experience working in the not-for-profit world, both in front-line work, administrative work, and operations management and strategy. She has skills in technical writing, research and grant writing, business development, networking, and communications. Jessie is also a professional public speaker.
Jessie has been involved in photography, from weddings to portraits, to events, for almost ten years. Her passion for adventure has led her to a number of exciting and unique photography experiences. In 2018 Jessie used her skills in photography to produce a photo series called Humans of Basic Income that amplifies the stories of the recipients of the prematurely canceled Basic Income Pilot Project in Ontario. An accomplished classical pianist, Jessie has been playing piano for over twenty years. In 2015, she was a finalist in CBC's Piano Hero, a national contest for pianists. She ended up in the top 15 out of hundreds of pianists across the country. Her favorite composers to play are Franz Liszt and Debussy.

Sylvia Plester-Silk, RSW is an intuitive Social Worker who integrates traditional therapy with Akashic Readings and energy work to help individuals transform to a life that is fully On Purpose.
Way back in ancient history, in 1998, she graduated from the Social Work program at Ryerson University. While working for multiple community agencies, she has assisted thousands of individuals through addictions, mental health and trauma to finding their way. Soprano Corinne Schaefer is known for her "versatility and impressive vocal range." Opera On Tap Hamburg received critical acclaim from NDR, Klassik Radio, and Concerti.de. In October of 2017, they had the european premiere of Liam Wade and Vynnie Meli's one act opera “Boy loses Girl (in the Beer Tent)," which later went on to great success at Semper Zwei at Semperoper Dresden.
Corinne’s awards include: 1st prize in Haßloch Meisterkurs La Primavera in 2013, finalist in the 2012 Liederkranz Competition, Advancement in the International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in 2011 along with Encouragement awards from The Fritz and Lavinia Jensen Foundation, Palm Beach Opera Vocal Competition, and the Opera at Florham Vocal Competition. In 2009, she received an Encouragement Award from the Gerda Lissner International Vocal Competition, and finally, in 2008, Corinne won 2nd place in the National Opera Association Vocal Competition, 3rd place in the FAVA Grand Concours de Chant, and 2nd place in the Violetta DuPont Vocal Competition.
Corinne Schaefer is a graduate from Indiana University, Jacobs School of Music, where she received a BM in vocal performance. She is also an alumnus of the prestigious Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. She has participated in masterclasses with Edda Moser, Montserrat Caballé, Virginia Zeani, and Maria Chiara.
