However, the main focus of the show surrounds hot mic audio from Mets GM Brodie Van Wagenen and his attack on Rob Manfred for trying to use the player protests as a publicity stunt. While Van Wagenen apologies for what he said, Greg argues that he is falling on the sword for his owners, who along with Manfred embarrassed themselves & the Mets organization with the statements they released following Van Wagenen's comments. Greg does a quick recap of the games that did occur yesterday.

Only three games in MLB were postponed due to boycotts, and Greg explains why there's an unfortunate social justice disparity between NBA players and MLB players as a whole. Greg calls out teams who did not stand by individual players who chose to boycott their games & calls out MLB for their lack of action. Greg also highlights an internal culture issue in the sport of baseball.
