Teachers Are Learners explores pressing topics in education, with a specific interest in learning as the consequence of experience (Piaget) and the growing need to construct a narrative about school that resonates with our students and teachers. We recognize that a fundamental step in our students success as learners is the (re-)framing of ourselves (teachers) as learners.
I share my writing struggles and try to extract two types of professional learning from it.

Ask this question of yourself: why do i want to become a learner? What is my motivation?
Teachers Are Learners so embrace feedback, wherever and however you get it. Feedback is diverse and it matters more how we use it for ourselves, than how it is delivered to us.
The first real practical tip - set aside time for your learning. Just like you would for exercise, you need to carve out the time in your day to dedicate to learning. There's no magic bullet for this one folks! You just gotta do it!
So what does being a learner look like practically? I give an abstract answer. Not to be fancy, but because it is, in my opinion, a fundamental base for everything that you do.

Being a learner broadens the possibilities of what you can offer to students. Embrace not knowing everything!
