Super Awesome Showdown wants to bring you more content, "but how?" we asked ourselves. Since you're here I guess the answer to that question is fairly obvious. Spike and Vic from the San Diego native wrestling promotion Super Awesome Showdown will talk about putting on a wrestling promotion, whatever frustrated us over the course of the day, and news.
We had a whole bunch of stuff this episode. Art, bitcoin farms, remastered porn, bad pants, all that and my comedy co hosts still can't help but kill the energy!
Then we talk about Hotshots, and once again I beg them to stop killing the energy.
We continue Mayday month with 300 hundred, which is still a war movie, but one Sam picked, and go figure she picked the one with a shredded Michael Fassbender. Before that we discuss the latest innightmare speaking science, poor ammunition choices, good abstinence messaging, how to avoid being shot, and my ex girlfriend scare.
Also I can drink now that I work normal hours.
We have the 97 subversive classic Starship Troopers. Before that we talk about the BEST screen name for zoom court appearances, more tiger people, and some images of a cursed variety.
Oh boy do we have some stuff for you! W discuss the great escape for longer than we thought we would, but before that we discuss men's fashion, jerk endangered animals, poor move planning and VERY low level election fraud.
Electric bikes, super utilitarian braziers, and the new way to monetize memedome plus Captain America.
We finish off westerns month with The Good The Bas & The Ugly, quite possibly the most iconic western in history. Before that we open the show with a little news of the next cinematic universe on the horizon.

Anthony is back and that means we're eating spicy stuff because we hate ourselves. We play Truth or Dab and this gave me several painful movements the next day.

We continue black history month with a review of the Spike Lee movie Malcolm X. Before that we Talk about UFO's Porsche's super care a litteraly BIG weirdo stuff and wrap up with a bit about the worst parking job in history.
We kick of Black History Month with Hidden Figures! Before that Vick gets some red meat thrown his way with the story of the GameStop rebellion, we than talk about the robots that will destroy us all, and some guys who found England's equivalent of the Bang Buss.
We have a little fun watching a woman take on the responsibilities of Walmart employee, gaze upon the beauty of the first new shade of blue discovered in two hundred years and crack wise about Gwyneth Paltrow's ridiculous merchandise. We then complete cyberpunk month with Ready Player One.
We have what we we've decided is this quarter's Trailer-palooza full of trailers that the studios felt like releasing in a pandemic. After we react to them we review the movie Upgrade as part of cyberpunk month.

We're Kicking off cyberpunk month with a bang, and talking about the 1995 classic Johny Mnemonic. Before that we talk about early attempts at apps on the gameboy, the MOSTE frivolous lawsuits, and two stories of insanity around relationships.

We had a lot of stuff to cover on this one. Carrion, You, and the animated Star Trek series.
We get into some light conspiracy theories about recent events and talk about Vic's bitchin' new computer before we get into the '94 classic film, True Lies.
We discuss how Victor can use his position to get Spike a girlfriend, the sad state of Taco Bell fare, and the movie Redline!
Of course we talk some Picard (the best part of the episode if you ask us), but before that we talk about the artists formerly known as the Dixie Chicks and the gang thinks Spike has walking autism. Fun stuff.

We watched a fun movie and really stuck it to another movie reviewer in this one. Well honestly we just disagreed with his evaluation, but this was a fun episode, so enjoy.

We watched the first episode of Netflix's Van Helsing, and decided to subject you to us talking over the episode. Oh my god, I hope that the rest of the series is better than this one.
We really got into it, and talked about urban fantasy and how Spike loves it and Vic CANNOT bring himself to care about them. Later we conduct a thought experiment on how vampires would manage money and bring their castle into the Information Age.
We went to a couple of new restaurants recently and gave them a VERY brief review. I hear people like food talk but we can't bring ourselves to to be enthusiastic about the food we actually enjoyed. We look at the trailer for the movie The Hunt and talk about how we have and have not moved along with the current acceptable language.
We got a little ambitious and did a commentary you should play along with the movie Baaghi on Netflix. It's a Bollywood production and is the halfway point between a Naked Gun movie and a 90's action movie.

We saw the Sonic movie (separately) and decided to talk about it. The movie was surprisingly fun. I also work on saying "basically" less. I also take an UNREAL amount of time to play a clip off YouTube.
I'm not gonna lie, I forgot everything else we talked about after we watched the trailer for Baaghi 3. I'm sure it was a crap show up to then, but the Baaghi material is GOLD and since then I've watched Baaghi 1, and loved it. Honestly, at this point I'm just seeing how many times I can manage to put the word Baaghi into this description logically....... Baaghi
We say Birds Of Prey and The Emancipation of Harley Quinn and I just realized that they should have called it Harley Quinn and the Birds Of Prey.
Well I listened to an audiobook on doing conversations better, so I'm now a conversation EXPERT! We look at the insanity that is the latest Fast and Furious movie trailer, and we do a deep dive on a Justin Bieber Song. Truly these will be looked upon as the halcyon days of this podcast.

I saw one of the last Slayed concerts ever and ended up talking about the crowd instead for some reason. We also talk about the Cyber Truck and the changing public perception of the very angular vehicle.
We saw another couple of episodes of The Mandalorian, and decided to cop out and just BS about that, We had fun, so in a way it's still a good episode.
