REMEMBER AND RESPOND | SCOTT HARRIS Jesus is the main character of the entire bible and all history and future. He is the main character of EVERYTHING. He provides for our forgiveness for our past, peace for our present and purpose for our future.
God made it so simple that nobody could say it was too hard to understand. It's not 23 steps and four pathways and eight guide roads and thirty-two rituals to go through. He just says, by trusting Christ. That's it. It's just as simple as putting my faith in Him.
You don't get God’s unfailing love and faithfulness through religion! You don't get grace through ritual, not even baptism or communion. You don't receive God’s grace through keeping rules.
But you do get grace through a relationship.
So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God. Romans 5:11 NLT
Grace is free. All you have to do is accept it. It's free to you. But it's not cheap. It cost Jesus His life. Grace is the most expensive commodity there is. Jesus died on the cross to pay for it. And Jesus never wants us to forget that. He never wants us to forget the sacrifice that He made so that we could experience the grace of God, so He gave us a reminder. He created a symbol.
We are commanded to remember the death of Jesus. What happened when Jesus died on the cross? What really took place when He hung there 2000 years ago that makes something so significant that we celebrate it and remember it 2000 years later?
VALUE | NATHAN GOLDEN You cannot find lasting answers about your value apart from Jesus. When we look at others for our self-worth, pride sets in, insecurities will surface, and our value becomes performance based. In the meantime, we are to reorient our lives in such a way where His Kingdom comes “on earth as it is in heaven.” And here’s the general rule: His Kingdom is anywhere Jesus is made King. May you know that one day, maybe real soon, his peace will not be challenged by the offer of the temporary “peace” of the world. May you know that the scriptures promises of a day very soon that all things will be made right will be truer than we could have ever imagined. He is coming. And bringing his peace, joy and salvation with Him.

9 “This, then, is how you should pray:‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done,on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts,as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation,but deliver us from the evil one.’ Matthew 6:9-13
SALVATION There will come a day when Jesus and His Kingdom will rule and reign without competing and conflicting values. Jesus, when he returns, will restore all of creation to its original intention. Without brokenness, pain, heartache, conflict,abuse, divorce, addiction. Sin. There will be joy like we cannot even begin to fathom in our present world. In the meantime, we are to reorient our lives in such a way where His Kingdom comes “on earth as it is in heaven.” And here’s the general rule: His Kingdom is anywhere Jesus is made King. May you know that one day, maybe real soon, his peace will not be challenged by the offer of the temporary “peace” of the world. May you know that the scriptures promises of a day very soon that all things will be made right will be truer than we could have ever imagined. He is coming. And bringing his peace, joy and salvation with Him.
