Ruth Ayres - Project Manager Ruth is a qualified Social Worker and became Project Manager in June 2016, she is responsible for managing the team, overseeing the many various strands of SelfharmUK and dreaming up new exciting ideas. Ruth brings a huge amount of passion and knowledge to the project and is keen to drive the project into a new direction, to ensure as many young people as possible are reached. Ruth has 16 years’ experience working with children, young people and their families. She is keen to ensure that SelfharmUK becomes a leader in supporting not only young people through self-harm, but parents, carers, teachers and all who work alongside them.
Ruth lives in Buckinghamshire with her husband and two cats, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and watching musical theatre.

Helen Cutterdige has been doing Youth Work for the last 10years, qualifying with a degree and JNC in Youth and Community Work with CYM. She’s worked for local churches, local councils and for the last year has been working for Youthscape as their Emotional Wellbeing (Self Harm) Lead for the local team, most of Helen’s time is spent supporting young people 1:1 or in group settings in school. She also delivers training for SelfharmUK, writes blogs and talks at other events.

Here's a little bit more about Jonny Holt. Jonny is Assistant and Youth Pastor at LivingWaters Church in Chorley. Married to Rebekah they have one son Jacob. Jonny’s background involves 13 years working with the young people in his local church. Recently he has taken on the role as North West Regional Leader for Serious4God where he hopes to be able to serve and encourage many of the great youth workers in the region. Alongside LivingWaters, he has worked for the last 12 years as a software developer. More specifically the last 5 years have seen him heavily involved in the work of CCPAS (Churches’ Child Protection Advisory Service), who exist and specialise in safeguarding youth, children and vulnerable adults throughout the UK. He's basically the bee's knees and the cats pyjamas!!!

Mike Pilavachi is the Senior Pastor of the Soul Survivor Watford church, based in North Watford, which he set up in 1993 along with worship leader Matt Redman. Mike has written a number of books on Christianity including Soul Survivor (with Nicky Gumbel, 2004), Live the Life (with Craig Borlaise, 2001) and, most recently, Storylines;Tracing the Threads of the Bible.
Mike launched Soul Survivor in the summer of 1993.The event is a 5-day long charismatic Christian festival aimed at youth and the initial Soul Survivor attracted 1,896 delegates. Under the guidance of Pilavachi, the event has grown to accommodate around 30,000 people over three weeks along with the fourth week, being Momentum (aimed at those in their twenties and thirties). Matt Redman, who had attended Pilavachi's youth club at St Andrews Church of England Chorleywood, was a worship leader at early Soul Survivor camps. Matt Redman returned as a worship leader in 2011. From summer 2014 a fifth week of Soul Survivor is held in Scotland.
