Is the law sin? No! But what the law did (according to Romans 7) is to reveal sin and make us experts in just how sinful we are. But thank Jesus for the New (Christic) Covenant. In Him, all things are new.
Is sin what you do? Or is it more a symptom of who you are? This study will point you to the only way we can find freedom from sin and reconciliation with God. When it comes to righteousness, we can only find it when we learn to receive grace. Believe Him, and behold Him, and you’ll find mercy.
The Glory of God has substance. And you’re called and chosen to carry the same glory that Jesus walked in.
Why did the devoted religious leaders in Jesus’ day want to kill him? A study from John 5 will give you some insights, and empower you to walk as a grace fueled, Spirit led disciple of Christ who won’t compromise or cave to an old covenant mindset.

When the overturn of Roe v Wade happened, I uploaded a post encouraging a response of humility. The response was surprising. Imagine Christians getting angry about humility. People thought I was against rejoicing. Dallas Willard said that Christians don’t know how to be right. And this is true. The reality is that those who don’t fully understand what it takes to obtain a win also don’t understand how to maintain a win. But if you’ll live listening to God rather than trying to impress him, he’ll teach you how to walk in every circumstance and how to respond in every moment. Don’t let the response of people to your obedience to God to sway you from the path of his Holy Spirit and his voice. So get your Bible, and listen deeply, and let the Holy Spirit speak to your heart.
The New Covenant is the greatest covenant that has ever existed between us and God. Jesus Christ has done more to make us right with God than we could ever imagine. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today and they are for you. If you haven’t discovered the power of speaking in tongues or a prayer language, this podcast is for you. Jesus promised that he would send the Holy Spirit. And since Acts chapter 2, the Holy Spirit has been available to everyone whose life is surrendered to Jesus Christ. Hang on, because it’s a whole new world when the gifts of the Holy Spirit get activated in your life!
This week we continue the exploration of the nature and character of a holy God and what it means when his Holy Spirit comes to live within you.
When it comes the God, his holiness was revealed to the ancient fathers of faith, but that revelation has been expanded and clarified over time. We’re still discovering what we mean when we say that God is holy. He is provider, our healer, our banner, our peace, and the descriptions continue and will unfold for eternity.
Jesus accomplished all three roles necessary to finish the work on the cross. He was the great high priest who offered the sacrifice. He was the holy one on the throne who received the sacrifice. And he was the sacrifice itself. You and I are in the equation purely by his grace and that’s how we are saved. The only thing necessary to receive salvation is faith. We have no faith of our own so we must ask God to give us the faith to believe and receive the grace of salvation. So even though we are invited into the process, we are not the source of any of the elements necessary for us to be saved. This is how God in Christ saved us single-handedly.
Is holy what you do or who you are? Can what you do make you unholy? How do you define something so “other” in words that do it justice without limiting or misrepresenting it? This enlightening message will give you insight into the wonderful holiness of God revealed in Christ and you.
When all is said and done, there is one thing in time and eternity that matters above all else. King David found the quest that is worth it all, and so can you.
Why do you believe what you believe? Is it experience? Is it your family tradition? Both of these may be a factor, but I’m going to give you a third reason that will give you something to consider and talk about when the topic of faith comes up. May you be able to confidently finish the following statement, “I believe in God because...”
There is a growth process to this life in Christ and 1 John gives us a beautiful picture of the wisdom and revelation that you need to pick up along the way.

Holiness is not about what you do. It’s about who you are. When God dedicates something to be holy, that’s the final word on the matter. What has God declared about you? Jesus is the last Adam and his holiness is what defines you. Believe it to be so and it will change the way you do life.
