A hockey podcast where two highly unqualified hosts focus on Alberta’s greatest NHL franchises, the Calgary Flames and the Edmonton Oilers.
Darren shouts out a few different Flames players that are on the road to greatness, while Stu's rare optimism sees the Oilers heading in the right direction.
In Cellys and Scorn Stu channels his inner Tortorella unintentionally pivoting his celly into a scorn about why the NHL should not penalize embellishment. And Darren pleads with the league to fix the constant momentum killer of Coach's Challenges.

Darren admires Conroy's ability to find a diamond in the rough and it's helping the Flames' solidly middle-of-the-road start to the season. Meanwhile further north, the Oilers just can't get going (even with McDavid's miracle-working medical team). But just how long can they let that go on before it's too late.
In Cellys and Scorn the guys question the new PWHL team names, Stu criticizes fans that think booing the refs is in their best interest, and Darren shouts out CapWages as the Capfriendly alternative we needed, even if it isn't the one we deserve.

It's been a really long offseason for our guys (although not quite as long for the Flames, and even less so for the Oilers) so there is a lot for them to talk about. Draft picks galore for the Flames, roster changes, contract shenanigans, questionable back office changes, and very high hopes... for one of the teams anyway.
Of course the long-awaited (for somebody surely) Cellys and Scorn involving Utah's new hockey team (that you may or may not be able to see, depending on where you're sitting in their arena) and an appreciation for the hockey community coming together in times of sadness.
This episode is dedicated to Johnny Gaudreau, Matthew Gaudreau, and Stephen Jones.
