The theme of this year’s 3-in-30 is “Understanding Our Identity.” Our speakers addressed this theme in terms of humanity, divinity, and gender/sexuality. A “3-in-30” is where three speakers speak for 30 minutes (10 minutes each), delivering a talk on one aspect of an over-arching theme. This year, we added a brief Q/A to the end of the evening. Tonight, we looked at three different aspects of the resurrection of Jesus Christ: the historic proof, the spiritual benefits, and our own response. A 3-in-30 is a special event in which three different speakers are given ten minutes to address a topic. Attached is not only the audio from the event but also the presentation slides as well.

Hot Topics was our second “3-in-30” Cornerstone U event. On these nights, we have three speakers present one of three topics in ten minutes, generally on a related theme. This event’s theme was, obviously, “hot topics,” issues that are controversial and likely to divide people in the Church and offend people on the outside, namely, politics, homosexuality, and abortion.

On a”3-in-30″ night, we have three speakers present one of three topics in ten minutes, generally on a related theme. Redeeming Halloween was the first of these events. The topics presented were death, the devil, and hell. We chose these “dark” topics so that we could reframe them for you in light of what the Bible says about them.
