On Easter we celebrate the glorious truth that Jesus rose from the dead. Death could not hold Him. He is the Author of Life and His resurrection is proof that He paid the penalty for all our sins.
Matthew 28:5-8
5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. - HONOUR means “esteem, value, or great respect.” To honor someone is to value him highly or bestow value upon him. knowing and doing what is morally right. fulfil (an obligation) or keep (an agreement). A privilege.
- FAMILIARITY means to know someone or something so well and in such a way so as to cause you to lose your admiration, respect and sense of awe and fail to observe the limits of what is permitted or appropriate.
1. When the door of familiarity is opened, a person is not impressed anymore (vrs 1-2).
2. When the door of familiarity is opened, a person talks about things not supposed to talk about (vas 3).
3. When the door of familiarity is opened, a person does not receive any good thing (vas 4-6).
